Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Jacke für Radfahrer. The invention relates to a jacket for cyclists.

Cyclists have usually used normal jackets as rain and / or heat protection. In normal jackets, the back and front of the jacket end at approximately the same level. If the overall jacket is relatively short, the back and buttocks of the cyclist are not adequately covered, especially when the cyclist is bent extremely forward, as is customary in particular for racing drivers. If the jacket is relatively long, which increases the cost of materials, larger areas of the back and buttocks are covered when the driver is bent forward, but this results in disadvantageous folds or bulges on the front, which adversely affects both slippery wind and driving comfort influenced.

The object of the invention is therefore to avoid the shortcomings of the known jackets for cyclists and to create a jacket for cyclists, which covers the back and the buttocks of the cyclist sufficiently even with extreme bending of the cyclist forward and overall close to the cyclist's body is present.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the rear part of the jacket is extended downwards and the front part of the jacket is cut out upwards. As a result, even with extreme bending of the cyclist according to Ivorner invention, at the same time covering the back and buttocks of the cyclist can be achieved and folding or bulging of the front part of the jacket can be prevented in this position.

The new jacket advantageously consists of an at least two-layer laminate with a layer of microporous polytetrafluoroethylene. This material is waterproof and permeable to water vapor at the same time and therefore, in conjunction with the cut of the new jacket, guarantees optimum rain protection and optimal evaporation of sweat. If desired, the material of the jacket can also have a heat-insulating layer. With regard to the possible materials that can be used for the new jacket, reference is made to DE-A-27 37 756 and 31 49 878 of the applicant, which are hereby incorporated into the disclosure of the present application. According to a technically expedient and aesthetically appealing embodiment of the invention, the rear part of the jacket is extended in a dovetail shape in an unslit shape and the front part is cut out in a V-shape.

In order to further improve the close fit of the jacket to the cyclist's body in any position of the cyclist, the lower side parts of the jacket can be connected using a horizontally extending band or the area of the rear part which is extended downwards can be connected using a vertically extending band connectable to the front cut-out part of the jacket, the first embodiment being preferred since the second embodiment entails a certain degree of disability for the cyclist when cycling.

In order to adapt the jacket offered in different sizes even more precisely to the different body shapes of the cyclists, adjustable darts are provided in the lateral parts of the jacket according to an advantageous development of the invention.

In order to accommodate the jacket as easily as possible in the bike luggage, an inner pocket for packing the jacket is provided according to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention.

In order to ensure a firm fit of the jacket also in the sleeve area, elastic cuffs are provided according to the invention at the front end of the sleeves.

Further advantages, features and possible uses of the present invention result from the following description of an exemplary embodiment in conjunction with the drawing. In it show:
  • 1 is a front view of a jacket for cyclists according to the present invention,
  • 2 is a vertical sectional view of the new jacket in a folded state in the middle vertical plane of symmetry of the jacket,
  • 3 is a side view of a cyclist on a bicycle wearing the new jacket,
  • Fig. 4 is a front view of a standing cyclist wearing the new jacket, and
  • Rig. 5 is a rear view of a cyclist wearing the new jacket.

Widerhakeneffektes in jeder gewünschten Position. A jacket is shown in the figures, the relative proportions of which correspond to a practical embodiment of a jacket. The jacket consists of a front part 1 and a rear part 2. The rear part 2 of the jacket has a lower elongated area 3, the z. B. is dovetail-shaped. However, area 3 can also be different, e.g. B. trapezoidal, semicircular, etc. The front part 2 is cut out upside down in a V-shape. Velcro fasteners have on one of the parts to be connected a velvet-like strip with a relatively hairy surface and on the other part a strip with a multitude of bristles with a barb effect. This second strip is pressed onto the first strip and remains in any desired position as a result of the barb effect mentioned above. This means that continuous adjustment is possible. However, the band can also be formed in one piece and fastened to a lower lateral part of the jacket, the closure then taking place on the other opposite lower lateral part of the jacket.

In the lateral areas of the jacket further up there are two adjustable darts z. B. in the form of short bands 5, the z. B. can be connected by Velcro to the corresponding lateral areas of the jacket, provided.

On the inside of the jacket, e.g. B. in the side area, an inner pocket 6 is provided, in which the jacket can be put and packed in the folded state. In the back area the jacket has z. B. on a ventilation slot 7. At the front ends of the sleeves is e.g. B.) an elastic sleeve 8 is provided.

The closures provided on the jacket can also be made of other closures common in the textile industry such as. B. buttons, zippers, etc. exist.

From these representations, the advantages of the new jacket explained at the outset, in particular the covering of the back and buttocks and a tight fit of the entire jacket to the body, even when the cyclist is in an extremely bent position, can be clearly seen.
