Claims (4)

1. Rollen- oder Bogen-Mehrfarbenrotationsdruckmaschine zum gleichzeitigen Schön- und Widerdruck, insbesondere zum Druck des Sicherheitsuntergrunds auf Wertpapieren und vor allem Banknoten, mit einem ersten Paar von Gummizylindern (2, 12), wobei längs des Umfangs jedes dieser Gummizylinder eine Gruppe von mehreren, durch je ein Farbwerk (9, 19) mit einer anderen Farbe einfärbbaren Zylindern (8, 18) angeordnet ist, welche mit dem betreffenden Gummizylinder (2, 12) zusammenarbeiten, um auf diesen ein Mehrfarbenbild zu übertragen, und jedem dieser Gummizylinder (2, 12) ein Plattenzylinder (5, 15) zugeordnet und dazu eingerichtet ist, eine das zu druckende vollständige Muster aufweisende und durch den betreffenden Gummizylinder (2, 12) eingefärbte Hochdruckplatte (5a, 15a) zu tragen, und wobei die erwähnten Plattenzylinder (5, 15) jeweils mit einem Zwischenzylinder (6, 16) aus Gummi zusammenarbeiten, und mit einem zweiten Paar von zussammenarbeitenden Gummizylindern (7,17), von denen jeder einem der Gummizylinder (2, 12) des ersten Paares zugeordnet und dazu eingerichtet ist, das entsprechende Mehrfarbenbild auf die eine bzw. die andere Seite des Papiers zu übertragen, welches zwischen diesen Gummizylindern (7, 17) des zweiten Paares hindurchläuft, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass jeder der beiden Gummizylinder (2,12) des ersten Paares zwischen einer ersten Stellung, in der er den zugeordneten Gummizylinder (7, 17) des zweiten Paares berührt, und einer zweiten Stellung, in welcher er von diesem zugeordneten Gummizylinder (7,17) abgerückt ist, einstellbar ist und
dass jedes Paar zusammenarbeitender Zylinder (5, 6; 15,16), bestehend aus einem Plattenzylinder (5, 15) und einem Zwischenzylinder (6, 16), zwischen einer Arbeitsteilung, in welcher der eine Zylinder des Paares den zugeordneten Gummizylinder (2, 12) des ersten Paares berührt und der andere den zugeordneten Gummizylinder (7, 17) des zweiten Paares berührt, und einer von diesen Gummizylindern abgerückten Ausserbetriebsstellung einstellbar ist.
2. Maschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Offsetdruckeinheit, vorzugsweise eine Nassoffsetdruckeinheit (10, 11,11 a,20, 21, 21a), wenigstens einem der Gummizylinder (7, 17) des zweiten Paares zugeordnet ist und dass deren Plattenzylinder (10, 20) mit dem erwähnten Gummizylinder (7, 17) in Berührung steht.
3. Maschine nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine doppelte Einfärbung für den Hochdruckplattenzylinder (5, 15) mit Hilfe zweier Bildübertragungszylinder (3, 4, 13, 14) vorgesehen ist.
4. Verfahren zum Betrieb der konvertierbaren Maschine nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wonach
in einer Sammeldruckstellung
die erwähnten Zylinder jeder Gruppe Farbselektionszylinder (8, 8a; 18, 18a) sind, deren Reliefzonen (8a; 18a) den Bereichen des in den verschiedenen Farben einzufärbenden Bildes entsprechen und deren Anzahl der Zahl der zu druckenden Farben entspricht,
die erwähnten Paare zusammenarbeitender Zylinder (5, 6; 15, 16) jeweils ihre Arbeitsstellung einnehmen und
die Gummizylinder (2, 12) des ersten Paares jeweils vom zugeordneten Gummizylinder (7, 17) des zweiten Paares abgerückt sind, um die erwähnte betreffende Hochdruckplatte (5a, 15a) einzufärben, welche ihrerseits das Mehrfarbenbild auf den betreffenden Gummizylinder (7, 17) des zweiten Paares überträgt, damit ein Mehrfarbenbild auf jede Seite des Papiers gedruckt wird,
in einer Offsetdruckstellung
die erwähnten Zylinder jeder Gruppe Plattenzylinder (8, 8b; 18, 18b) sind, die jeder eine Offsetdruckplatte (8b; 18b) tragen, wobei die Anzahl dieser Offsetdruckplatten jeder Gruppe der Zahl der zu druckenden Farben und Muster entspricht,
die erwähnten Paare zusammenarbeitender Zylinder (5, 6; 15, 16) ausser Betrieb sind und
die Gummizylinder (2, 12) des ersten Paares den zugeordneten Gummizylinder (7, 17) des zweiten Paares berühren, damit ein Mehrfarbenbild mit Hilfe der erwähnten Offsetdruckplatten (8b, 18b) auf jeder Seite des Papiers gedruckt wird;
in einer kombinierten Druckstellung
die erwähnten Zylinder der einen Gruppe Farbselektionzylinder (8, 8a oder 18, 18a) sind, deren Reliefzonen (8a oder 18a) den Bereichen des in den verschiedenen Farben einzufärbenden Bildes entsprechen und deren Anzahl der Zahl der zu druckenden Farben entspricht,
das eine der Paare zusammenarbeitender Zylinder (5, 6 oder 15, 16) seine Arbeitsstellung einnimmt,
der Gummizylinder (2 oder 12) des ersten Paares, welcher durch die erwähnten Farbselektionszylinder (8, 8a oder 18, 18a) eingefärbt wird, vom erwähnten zugeordneten Gummizylinder (7 oder 17) des zweiten Paares abgerückt ist, um die erwähnte betreffende Hochdruckplatte (5a oder 15a) einzufärben, welche ihrerseits das Mehrfarbenbild auf den betreffenden Gummizylinder (7 oder 17) des zweiten Paares überträgt, damit ein Mehrfarbenbild auf eine der Seiten des Papiers gedruckt wird,
während die erwähnten Zylinder der anderen Gruppe Plattenzylinder (18, 18a oder 8, 8b) sind, die jeder eine Offsetdruckplatte (8b oder 18b) tragen, wobei die Anzahl dieser Offsetdruckplatten der Zahl der zu druckenden Farben und Muster entspricht,
das andere Paar zusammenarbeitender Zylinder (15, 16 oder 5, 6) ausser Betrieb ist und der andere Gummizylinder (12 oder 2) des ersten Paares, der von der erwähnten Offsetdruckplatten (18b oder 8b) eingefärbt wird, den zugeordneten Gummizylinder (17 oder 7) des zweiten Paares berührt, damit ein Mehrfarbenbild mit Hilfe der erwähnten Offsetdruckplatten (18b oder 8b) auf die andere Seite des Papiers gedruckt wird.
