Description

The invention relates to an arrangement for connecting components such as hooks, eyelets, shackles, clevises, shortening claws, connecting pins, connecting forks, as well as tensioning and / or control devices of lifting and / or lashing arrangements, each with a load transmission line that passes through a receiving opening of a Coupling member is guided, to which the respective component or the respective tensioning and / or control device is connected, the respective component or the respective tensioning and / or control device being provided with a neck and a head adjoining it and into which Receiving opening of the coupling member, an insertion slot opens into the respective neck.

From GB-A-166 684 an arrangement of the type under consideration is known which, owing to the oval shape of the receiving opening of its coupling member, is suitable for use in conjunction with load transmission lines formed by ropes or chains. In the known arrangement, a component designed as an eyelet is provided with a head and a neck and a flattened portion arranged between the neck and the actual eyelet part, the thickness of the neck being greater and the thickness of the flattened section of the component being smaller than the width of the insertion slot . The aim of flattening is to prevent the component from unintentionally coming loose from the coupling part. However, this goal is not achieved with 100% certainty, since it cannot be ruled out that the coupling member and component in the unloaded state may accidentally reach the insertion position, in which they can of course be released again.

Other components could also take the place of an eyelet-shaped component, as is known, for example, from US Pat. No. 3,656,797.

Also known are arrangements suitable for load transmission strands formed by straps with coupling members consisting of a closed bracket which essentially has the shape of an isosceles triangle, the yoke formed by the base of the triangle forms a cross member for a belt loop and at the end of which forms the tip of the triangle a fork is arranged with holes for receiving a bolt, which is used to fasten a component provided with an insertable between the fork tines.

These arrangements are also not fully satisfactory, since on the one hand the effort required to manufacture their coupling members is comparatively high with regard to the accuracy requirements for the mounting bores and the bolts, and on the other hand the coupling and uncoupling of components is time-consuming and cannot be carried out without tools.

The invention has for its object to provide an arrangement of the type mentioned first, which is suitable for use in connection with load-bearing strands formed by straps and in which an automatic release of the component from the coupling member without additional means is excluded with certainty.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the load transmission line is formed by a belt and the receiving opening is formed by at least one belt receiving slot, the clear height of which is so great that the respective head fits through the belt-free belt receiving slot when the neck is inserted into the insertion slot while it is at belt connected to the coupling member is locked by this in the coupling member.

The arrangement according to the invention allows components to be connected to belts without the aid of tools. A seizing of parts due to fretting corrosion is ruled out. Working with slots creates the conditions for easy manufacture of the coupling element by punching, bending and, if necessary, stamping. The locking of the component by the belt in the coupling member eliminates the need to attach special fuses in the form of flats, dowel pins or the like.

In Figures 1 and 2, 1 is a belt with which a coupling member 2 engages a hook formed component 3 is connected. The component 3 has a substantially plate-shaped head 4 with a diameter D and a height h. A cylindrical neck 5 with a diameter d, the length of which is equal to 1, adjoins the head 4. The upper end 6 of the component 3 is flattened on two opposite sides such that the distance between the flats is substantially equal to the diameter d. The flats facilitate the insertion of the neck into an insertion slot 7 of the coupling member, which opens into a belt receiving slot 8 at an angle of 90 °. The width B of the insertion slot 7 is only slightly larger than the diameter d of the neck 5, but smaller than the diameter D of the head 4. In order to enable the head 4 to be inserted into the belt-free belt receiving slot, the latter has viewed in the direction of insertion of the head 4 ( see Figure 1) a clear height H, which is greater than the height h of the head. The coupling member 2 is also provided with a second belt receiving slot 9, into which, however, no insertion slot opens. The belt receiving slots 8 and 9 are delimited at the top by two cross members 10 and 11, which are formed by the ends of the side walls 12 and 13 of the coupling member. The side walls 12 and 13 run obliquely to one another. They pass into a base 14, the width of which, as can be seen in FIG. 2, is smaller than the greatest width of the side walls 12 and 13. The thickness s of the side walls 12 and 13 and of the base 14 is smaller than the length I of the Neck 5 of component 3.

In view of the fact that the clear height H of the belt receiving slot 8 is only slightly greater than the height h of the head 4, the component 3 is locked by the latter in the coupling member 2 when the belt is inserted into the belt receiving slots 8 and 9. In other words, the belt 1 fulfills a double function, namely on the one hand the function of a load-bearing member and on the other hand the function of a securing element.

The arrangement shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 largely corresponds in its structure to the arrangement according to FIGS. 1 and 2. In this case, instead of a component designed as a hook, a component 15 designed as an exchangeable adapter with an eyelet 16 is used. For example, another component provided with a fork-shaped connection head can be connected to the eyelet 16. In addition, the second arrangement is provided with a support element 17 for the belt 1, which consists of two parts 18 and 19, which form a cylindrical bearing surface for the belt 1 and on the one hand promote belt protection and on the other hand, especially when using thin belts, to lock the Contribute head 4 in the coupling member 2.

21 ist eine eingeprägte Vertiefung, die zur Führung des drehbar im Boden 14 gelagerten Kopfes 4 dient.FIG. 5 shows that the coupling member 2 can be produced by a simple stamping process from a sheet metal strip 20 indicated by a dash-dotted line. It can be seen that the insertion slot 7 extends into the region of the base 14 and is semicircular there. 21 is an embossed depression which serves to guide the head 4 which is rotatably mounted in the base 14.

In Figur 8 ist in das Kupplungsglied 2 eine Spann- und Kontrollvorrichtung 24 eingehängt.FIG. 6 shows a component 22 which is coupled to a coupling member 2 and is designed as a shortening claw. In FIG. 7, a component 23 which is designed as a shackle is used. In Figure 8, a tensioning and control device 24 is suspended in the coupling member 2.

The component 26 is formed by a suspension link, while the components 27 and 28 represent intermediate links, which in turn are captively welded into a suspension link 29. 30 are trailers with information about the load-bearing capacity of the suspension links 26, 29. In the arrangements shown in FIGS. 9 to 11 it is achieved that the respective user inevitably connects the correct number of belts to the respective suspension link.

The above statements make it clear that the configuration of the coupling member 2 is of crucial importance in the arrangement described. It can be easily manufactured as a mass article and allows quick and easy replacement of components that are to be connected with belts. The fact that the components or the tensioning and control devices can rotate freely in the coupling member also has an advantageous effect. This helps to ensure that the straps are loaded evenly across their entire width.
