Abstract

An enamel or paint touch-up kit for paint repair, expecially on automobiles, is disclosed consisting of an enamel container with a screw cap, the base of a touch-up brush extending into the container being attached to this screw cap. Additionally, a rust-removing tool is provided which is mounted, with its base in opposition to the base of the brush, to the screw cap and projecting away from the screw cap in the opposite direction with respect to the brush, and being accommodated in a hollow space formed by a protective cap seated on the screw cap and enclosing the rust-removing tool on all sides. This arrangement has the advantage that the screw cap can still be used, as before, as a handle for operating the touch-up brush. For a rust-removing operation, it is merely necessary to remove the protective cap of the novel enamel touch-up stick so that the container then serves as a handle for manipulating the rust-removing tool with the same being fixedly joined to this handle.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Lackstift zur Lackausbesserung nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1. Es sind Lackstifte bekannt (DE-PS 2630351), bei denen in einem zylindrischen Hohlraum innerhalb einer Schraubkappe, die einen Lackbehälter abschliesst, Zusatzwerkzeuge in Form einer Entrosterbürste vorgesehen sind, die an einem Deckel des Zusatzraumes sitzt. Dieser Deckel kann mit seitlich abstehenden Flügeln in Schlitzen am Rand des Hohlraumes der Schraubkappe gehalten werden. Die Entrosterbürste kann auf diese Weise entnommen und umgekehrt in das Ende der Schraubkappe eingesetzt werden, so dass der Lackstift selbst als Handgriff dienen kann. Nachteilig ist aber, dass das auf diese Weise relativ locker in Schlitzen gehaltene Entrosterwerkzeug nicht fest genug an der Schraubkappe sitzt und bei der Bearbeitung auch aus der Befestigung herausfallen kann. Wenn mit der Entrosterbürste in der Weise gearbeitet wird, dass das Ende der Bürste nur an dem verhältnismässig kleinen Deckel erfasst wird, ist eine schlechte Führung möglich.The invention relates to a touch-up pen for touch-up paint. Für Entrostungsarbeiten sind aber auch Lackstifte der im Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1 genannten Art bekannt geworden, (s. GB-A-2 068 217) die mit einer Entrostungsflüssigkeit gefüllt sind und deren Schraubkappe auf der einen Seite einen Tupfpinsel aufweist, der bei geschlossenem Behälter in dem Behälter hängt und auf der anderen, dem Pinsel gegenüber liegenden Seite, eine Entrosterbürste. Mit solchen Bauarten kann das Entrosterwerkzeug zwar bei geschlossenem Behälter an dem gesamten Behälter als Handhabe erfasst werden, die relativ breitflächige Entrosterbürste, die aus Drahtborsten besteht, erlaubt es aber nur, einen verhältnismässig grossen Flächenbereich zu bearbeiten. Bei kleinen Roststellen lässt es sich daher nicht ausschliessen, dass auch die daran angrenzenden, an sich nicht mit Rost versehenen Bereiche, beeinflusst werden, was an sich unerwünscht ist. Claims

1.
