Abstract

1. Claims (6)

  1. Clutch device for an adjuster wheel, especially used in small offset printing machines, manually turnable for starting up printing machine functions, wherein an adjuster wheel shaft (2) is displaceable axially in stages for bringing an adjuster wheel (1) in and out of operative connection with a drive gearing (41) of the printing machine, wherein there are provided shift means (7, 8, 20, 42) which, in response to an axial displacement of said adjuster wheel shaft (2), prevent the drive motor from being switched on in a first stage, and wherein in a second stage, in response to a further axial displacement of said adjuster wheel shaft (2), said adjuster wheel shaft is operatively connected with said drive gearing (41) of the printing machine via clutch means (14, 15, 17, 18, 19).
  2. 2. Clutch device according to Claim 1, wherein, after each of said two shifting stages, stop means (21, 29, 30) become effective as stage limitation means which are overriden by turning said adjuster wheel (1).

Clutch device according to Claims 1 and 2, wherein a clutch ring (14) is disposed on said adjuster wheel shaft (2) so as to be axially displaceable but fixed against turning relative thereto, said clutch ring abutting, via a pressure spring, against a side wall (16) of the printing machine, said adjuster wheel shaft (2) being withdrawable and turnable about the longitudinal axis (45) thereof so as to positively connect said clutch ring to a clutch claw (19) of a bushing (17) being disposed on said adjuster wheel shaft (2) so as to be freely turnable thereon, an effective connection of said adjuster wheel shaft to said drive gearing (41) of the printing machine being via said bushing (17).
  6. 6. Clutch device according to Claim 1, wherein, merely by being pressed in, said adjuster wheel (1) is disengaged so as to axially displace said adjuster wheel shaft (2) by the adjusting travel of said shifting stages.
