Definitions
- the invention relates to a shaving part for dry shavers and hair clippers with slit-shaped hair inlet openings, which have a threading zone and a cutting zone covered by a moving shear part.
- Such shaving parts can be shear combs made from flat material or produced by bending thin metal sheets with slots open on one side, but they can also be shaving foils in which the hair inlet openings are provided as circumferentially closed slots.
- Shear parts of this type which are mainly used to remove hair on soft, flexible skin areas, e.g. B. on the neck and in the armpits, are generally known (US-A-2 292 858).
- the problem is that even small wrinkles on the skin get into the inlet openings in a wave shape and are injured in the cutting zone.
- the inlet openings in the shaving foil can, of course, be made relatively small, but this severely affects the shearing effect.
- From GB patent 496 350 it is already known to design the slit-shaped inlet openings with a one-sided curvature in a crescent shape or obliquely to the main guiding direction of the apparatus.
- the invention has for its object to design a shear part of the type mentioned in such a way that on the one hand close-up shaving of hair is possible and on the other hand skin injuries or skin irritation are largely avoided.
- the invention solves this problem in that in the direction of the threading path in front of the cutting zone there is at least one leading edge which is directed essentially transversely to the longitudinal axis of the slit-shaped hair inlet opening and around which the threading path is guided with at least two changes of direction.
- the main advantage of the shaving part according to the invention is that body hair can be cut close to the skin without small skin wrinkles getting into the cutting zone of the shaving apparatus and thereby causing skin injury or skin irritation.
- the skin flowing in through the threading zone is caught by the leading edge, which acts as a braking threshold, and is prevented from reaching the cutting zone directly by the double deflection of the threading path; as a result, the design known in the case of shear parts with hair inlet openings for skin irritation or skin injury which is inevitably kept is considerably reduced.
- the threading zone is often designed to be wider than the cutting zone: however, since in this case skin wrinkles can also penetrate the hair inlet openings better.
- the leading edge is formed by a projection which covers the cutting zone and a further leading edge offset from the first is provided, around which the threading path is guided like a labyrinth. The two staggered leading edges and the four change of direction of the threading path around both leading edges guarantee that the skin wrinkles that have penetrated into the threading zone are slowed down and held back.
- each hair inlet opening has two parallel cutting zones separated by a web, with a common extended threading zone in a symmetrical arrangement that two mutually directed, covering the cutting zone, leading edges forming projections are provided and that the end flank of the web is located as a further leading edge of the opening between the projections.
- Fig. The two interacting shear parts of a dry shaver or a hair clipper of any known type are used to cut longer body hair re, especially for cosmetic purposes, shown in section, namely the resting shear part 1, which consists essentially of a V-shaped sheet and is provided with slit-like hair inlet openings 2, and the comb-like teeth 3 provided moving shear part 4.
- Die Hair inlet openings 2, the detailed design of which results from FIGS. 2, 3 and 4 have a threading zone 5 and a cutting zone 6, which is swept by the moving shear part 4.
- the threading zone 5 of the hair inlet opening 2 is not significantly wider than the cutting zone 6, but this is offset laterally relative to the threading zone 5 with its longitudinal axis 7 to such an extent that the threading path 8 undergoes a two-way change of direction and before that Cutting zone 6 - seen in the threading direction - a leading edge 9 is formed which is directed transversely to the longitudinal axis 7 and which brakes wrinkled skin wrinkles and prevents them from reaching the cutting zone directly.
- the threading zone 5.1 is significantly expanded compared to the cutting zone 6.1.
- the threading path 8.1 is guided around this projection 11 in a labyrinthine manner with a four-fold change of direction.
- the projection 11 forms - seen in the threading direction - a first leading edge 13, which is assigned a second, offset leading edge 14 on the opposite edge 12, which is also essentially directed transversely to the longitudinal axis 7.1.
- the hair inlet opening according to FIG. 4 has an enlarged threading zone 5.2 and two parallel cutting zone 6.2 separated by a web 15 in a symmetrical arrangement with respect to the longitudinal axis 7.2.
- two mutually directed projections 18 and 19 are attached, which form an opening 20 leave blank, the width of which corresponds approximately to the width of a cutting zone 6.2.
- This opening 20 is located opposite the end face of the web 15 and forms, in addition to the leading edges 21 and 22 of the projections 18 and 19, a third leading edge 23.
- the projections 18 and 19 block the direct path from the threading zone 5.2 into the cutting zones 6.2 and force a multiple change of direction of the threading path 8.2 Incoming skin wrinkles are braked and stopped at the three leading edges 21, 22 and 23.
