Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an aperture for shielding light, wind and visibility, especially on balconies of buildings.
Openable awnings for sun protection on buildings are well known. Such awnings can usually be stretched above a room to be shielded. Especially in buildings with balconies, there is a need for light, wind and privacy protection from the side and front. Conventional awnings offer such protection only to a limited extent or not at all.
The invention has for its object to provide a laterally or frontally effective against light and wind or against viewing blind, which is easy to set and remove.
To solve this problem, such a panel is characterized by a sheet made of a foldable weatherproof material which can be stretched over an opening to be shielded in a wall or between walls, with upper and lower releasable holding means on an upper wall-fixed part and on one lower wall-fixed part is moored.
The diaphragm according to the invention can be set in a very simple manner and then effectively covers the opening. For example, the use of side panels according to the invention is expedient if several balconies belonging to different apartments are to be arranged next to one another on a building and, in particular, are to be shielded from lateral view, while frontal shielding by means of the panel according to the invention is useful if Buildings with visible openings, e.g. Balconies facing each other.
In a simple design of the panel according to the invention, the upper wall-fixed part is expediently a curtain rail, and the upper holding means are hook sliders or rollers which engage in holes in the web. The track can thus be shifted in the curtain rail in the manner of a curtain from a non-use position into the shielding position and can only be partially set due to the stepless mobility in the curtain rail. This is achieved by using the curtain track, which is simply available in a wide variety of designs, with the associated hook sliders or castors, also of a conventional design. The curtain track is advantageously made of a weatherproof material.
The lower wall-fixed part is expediently the wall itself, and the lower holding means comprise several lockable plug connections, which can also be of a known, easily available and manageable type, e.g. in the form of known snap fasteners or twist locks.
In order to be able to easily stow the screen in a ready position when not in use, a sleeve for wrapping the web is advantageously fastened in a wall region adjacent to the opening. This attachment can be detachable, so that the cover can be removed, for example in the opened state of the diaphragm. According to a particularly expedient design, the curtain rail is extended beyond the area of the envelope, and the track is also held in the wrapped state over the hook sliders or rollers on the curtain rail, while the lower holding means, such as push buttons or twist locks, are released.
The web and cover advantageously consist of a hard-wearing fabric material.
- Fig. 1 eine Blende gemäss der Erfindung in aufgespanntem Zustand zur Abdeckung einer öffnung zwischen zwei übereinander angeordneten Balkonen;
