Abstract

Un cable de haute tension comprend trois conducteurs (1, 2, 3) ayant chacun plusieurs noyaux metalliques enroules helicoidalement, des couches isolantes (7, 8, 9) entourant ces conducteurs, des ecrans (19, 20, 21) entourant les couches isolantes et les conducteurs, et constituant ensemble un conducteur de terre, et une couverture de protection ou chemise (25, 27) entourant ces ecrans et composee de plastique ou caoutchouc. A l'interieur de la chemise une substance de remplissage (26) et plusieurs conducteurs de terre supplementaires (22, 23, 24) sont disposes, ces derniers etant adaptes pour augmenter la section totale du conducteur de terre. De maniere a eliminer les problemes qui consistent a assurer la connexion de terre requise, la chemise et la substance de remplissage sont faites avec un materiau qui est lui-meme electriquement conducteur, p.ex. du chlorure de polyvinyl ou du polyethylene reticule contenant du carbone, ou il est rendu conducteur par incorporation de particules distribuees uniformement d'un materiau electriquement conducteur, p.ex. des copeaux metalliques ou de la limaille, de maniere a etablir une connexion electriquement conductrice entre le conducteur de terre d'un cable de haute tension et le milieu environnant.
