Zweckmäßig ist der Adapter durch einen Ringkörper gebildet, der über eine axiale Steuerkurve, z.B. ein Gewinde, mit dem Körper des Frisierstabes verbindbar ist. Darüber hinaus besteht aber auch die Möglichkeit bei als Ringkörper gebildeten Adaptern diese mittels eines Renkverschlusses an Enden von Frisierstabkörpern festzulegen. Es entspricht der Erfindung, daß beliebig die Frisierstabkörperenden der Größe des Adapters oder der Adapter im Durchmesser den Frisierstabkörperenden angepaßt sein kann.
