Abstract

A mechanical sweeper attached to a carrier vehicle comprises a sweeping assembly (2) which is attached laterally to the frame of a carrier vehicle (1) between the front and rear wheels. The sweeping assembly is attached as one unit to a carrier frame (26) which is movably connected to the vehicle in order to shift the sweeping assembly (2) into a position outside the lateral profile outline of the vehicle (1). In the case of a mechanical sweeper having an interchangeable body (6), which, on a body frame (8), includes devices for picking up and storing the dirt and is arranged as a whole above the rear wheels (4) of the carrier vehicle (1), the carrier frame (26) is fastened to the body frame (8) of the interchangeable body (6) so that it can be pulled out laterally. The lateral pulling out movement is facilitated by a supporting device which comprises a leg (11) fastened to the carrier frame (26), this leg being supported on the ground (9) by means of a support roller (12), on the side of the sweeping assembly (2) opposite the vehicle.

Description

The invention relates to a sweeper with a detachable sweeping group arranged laterally on the carrier vehicle between the front and rear wheels in the working position and comprising sweeping tools and all their actuators for driving and moving the sweeping tools.

In such a known sweeper (DE-U-1815871), the sweeping group is always located laterally outside the vehicle outline both in the working position and in the transport position and is lifted off the ground in the transport position. The attachment to the carrier vehicle is provided by a frame connected to the sweeping group and movable on its own wheels, which can be detachably mounted on the underside of the carrier vehicle. A special connection between the frame and the carrier vehicle which facilitates assembly is not provided.

Another known sweeper (DE-A1-2 751 423) comprises a sweeping group pivotally attached to the underside of a carrier vehicle, between the front and rear wheels thereof, the actuating members of which are thus independent of one another and are fastened to different locations of the vehicle underbody. The assembly of the sweeping group on the carrier vehicle is therefore complex. Maintenance work, in particular on the actuators of the sweeping group, is only possible from the underside of the carrier vehicle. In contrast, the present invention is based on the task of simplifying the maintenance of the sweeping group and its attachment and detachment to / from the carrier vehicle and to enable this work to be carried out more quickly.

According to the proposal of the present invention, this object is achieved in any carrier vehicle in that all actuators are supplied by detachable lines and that the entire sweeping group is attached to a support frame which is movably connected to a guide part attached to the vehicle, such that the Support frame on the guide part is movable into a position of the sweeping group provided for maintenance and assembly purposes outside the outline of the vehicle.

The proposed combination of the sweeping group, including all of its components, including its actuators on a support frame and its movable connection to the vehicle, makes it possible to easily remove the sweeping group from the immediate vehicle area into an outer position with respect to the vehicle outline. There, the sweeping group offers good access for maintenance work. In addition, the assembly / disassembly of the sweeping group is made considerably easier, which is particularly important for the rapid conversion of the carrier vehicle.

The guide part attached to the vehicle enables the support frame carrying the sweeping group to be extended, a straight-line movement or a pivoting movement preferably being considered for this extension. In the context of the invention, the guide part can be fastened to the vehicle frame or to another part of the vehicle connected to the vehicle frame.

A special embodiment of the invention is provided for a carrier vehicle with a swap body. Such a swap body is usually located above the rear wheels of the carrier vehicle; it comprises a body frame which can be connected to the vehicle frame and on which devices for suctioning off the dirt and a dirt container are provided. In order to simplify the coupling of the carrier vehicle from the swap body, the invention proposes that the guide part be fastened to the body frame of the swap body. This ensures that all components related to the sweeping task are separated from the carrier vehicle by loosening the swap body. There is therefore no need to dismantle a plurality of components from the carrier vehicle. Before dismantling the swap body, only the supply lines or drive connections between the carrier vehicle and the sweeping group must be disconnected. After the sweeping group has been moved outside the outline between the wheels of the carrier vehicle, the swap body can be separated from the carrier vehicle and the carrier vehicle can be moved out of the swap body. It is then available for other purposes or for attaching other structures.

Further expedient embodiments of the invention relate to dependent claims 3 to 7. Of these, dependent claims 5 to 7 relate to an interchangeable body with vertically extendable legs which, with the exception of one leg, are fastened to the body frame, while this leg is fastened to the supporting frame and together with it from the Body frame is extendable. The extendable leg expediently has a horizontal support which is accommodated in a telescopically adjustable manner in a pushing part of the supporting frame. The support and thrust part can extend in the extension of the longitudinal axis of a crossbar of the body frame which forms the guide part, the leg supporting the support being supported on the floor by means of a support roller on the side of the sweeping group opposite the carrier vehicle.

This embodiment enables particularly simple handling when the sweeping group extends from the area between the wheels of the carrier vehicle. First, the connections between the swap body and the vehicle frame of the carrier drive solved stuff. Then all legs of the swap body are extended until it lifts off the vehicle frame. Then the leg provided with a support roller is pulled out of the thrust part with its support, which in turn is pulled out of the cross member of the body frame. The sweeping group hanging on the thrust part moves laterally outside the outline of the vehicle. The leg running on the floor with its support roller relieves the load on the telescopic guides between the crossbar, thrust part and support. After the flexible supply lines between the sweeping group and the vehicle have been disconnected, the carrier vehicle can extend its rear wheels out of the swap body.

If the sweeping group is only to be extended laterally for maintenance work, it is of course not necessary to disconnect the flexible supply lines to the carrier vehicle.

In the following an embodiment of the invention is explained with reference to the drawing, it shows
  • Fig. 1 is a front view of a carrier vehicle with the sweeping group pulled out to the side and
  • Fig. 2 is a side view of the carrier vehicle, which is partially extended from the swap body.

A sweeping group 2 is arranged from one side of the carrier vehicle 1 between its front wheel 3 and its rear wheel 4. In addition, an interchangeable body 6 is attached above the rear wheels 4 on a frame part 5 of the vehicle 1, the interior of which essentially houses a dirt container and a blower. In addition, the oil hydraulics for driving the plate broom 7, which belongs to the sweeping group, is located inside the interchangeable body. An oil pump operated by the vehicle engine can also be used as the drive source for the plate broom 7. The various compressed air cylinders for controlling the movement of the sweeping group (lifting, lowering, pivoting), together with their flexible hose connections to the compressed air device on the vehicle, have not been shown for reasons of simplification of the drawing. The interchangeable body 6 stands on a body frame 8 which is supported on the floor 9 by means of four vertically adjustable legs. Three legs 10 (two of which are covered) are supported directly on the body frame. A fourth leg 11 assigned to the sweeping group has a support roller 12 on the bottom side and a horizontal support 14 at the upper end, in the vicinity of the hand crank 13, which serves to extend the leg 11. The support 14 is telescopic inside a horizontal sliding part 15 of the support frame 15, 26 of the sweeping group 2 and locked by means of a pin 17. The thrust part 15 is in turn guided telescopically in a horizontal guide part 16, which is designed as a cross member of the mounting frame 8. 1, the sweeping group 2 is drawn in the laterally extended assembly position (and dash-dotted in the retracted working position). A rope 18 limits the maximum extension of the pushing part 15 from the guide part 16. On a blowing / suction mouthpiece 19 arranged behind the plate broom 7 of the sweeping group 2 with lateral support wheels 20 there is a flexible suction hose 21 adjacent to the plate broom 7 and a flexible blowing hose behind it in the direction of travel 22 connected. In the suction hose 21, the swept material moves into a dirt container, behind which a blower is arranged, which blows out through the blow hose 22. The dirt picked up is collected in a dirt container and emptied at the rear of the swap body by opening a flap 23 by means of a compressed air cylinder 24. A suction hose 25 on the rear of the swap body can alternatively be actuated for the suction hose 21. It is used in particular for emptying sinkholes, wastebasket or for collecting piles. The sweeping group 2 includes, in addition to the blowing / suction mouthpiece 19 and the plate broom 7, further components for driving and for moving (lifting, pivoting) the plate broom, which are not shown in detail for the sake of simplifying the drawing. The entire sweeping group 2 is suspended on the support frame 15, 26.

The extension takes place by plugging on the leg 11 by means of the support 14 which is fastened with the plug pin 17 in the interior of the thrust part 15 of the support frame 15, 26. After the leg 11 has been plugged in, it is vertically extended by turning the hand crank 13 until its base-side support roller 12 partially absorbs the weight of the sweeping group 2. As a result of the relief of the telescopic guide between the pushing part 15 and the spar 16, the support frame 15, 26 can be pulled out from the position I into the position II without exerting any force, the leg 11 being moved in the lateral direction. In the extended position according to FIG. 11, the sweeping group is accessible from all sides for maintenance work. The supply lines to the vehicle or to the swap body only need to be disconnected if the entire swap body is to be dismantled from the carrier vehicle. In this case, after the swap body has been parked on all four legs and its connections to the frame part 5 of the vehicle have been released, the carrier vehicle 1 can be moved out from under the swap body which is parked on the ground, as shown in FIG. 2 Vehicle already a distance S away from the swap body. The one in the working position between front and back After the position 11 has been extended laterally, the reversing group 2 located on the terrace is no longer in the way of the rear wheels 4. The vehicle 1 extended from the swap body is free of all units and components connected to the sweeper and can be converted for other purposes.
