Vorrichtung zum Mischen und Homogenisieren wenigstens zweier Medien, mit einem Kessel, an dessen Boden ein einen um eine Achse drehbaren Rotor und einen Stator aufweisender Homogenisator angeordnet ist, wobei die Vorrichtung aus einer ersten Betriebsstellung, in der das im Kessel befindliche Mischgut im Inline-Betrieb aus dem Kessel durch den Homogenisator in den unteren Kesselabschnitt zurückzuführen ist, wenigstens in eine zweite Betriebsstellung umzuschalten ist, in der das im Kessel befindliche Mischgut im Umlaufbetrieb aus dem Kessel durch den Homogenisator über eine Bypass-Leitung in den oberen Kesselabschnitt zurückzuführen bzw. zu entleeren ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß radial auswärts zum Homogenisator (4 = 7, 8) ein mittels eines Einstellmittels relativ zum Homogenisator (4) axial einstellbarer Steuerring (11) angeordnet ist, der in einer ersten Betriebsstellung (Fig. 1) zwischen einer ersten ringförmigen Steuerfläche (16) und einer hierzu parallelen ersten Gehäusefläche (21) einen vom Homogenisator (4) in den Kessel (2) führenden ersten Kanal (27) freigibt,während er mit einer zweiten ringförmigen Steuerfläche (18) an einer zu dieser parallelen zweiten Gehäusefläche (22) dichtend anliegt, und der in einer zweiten Betriebsstellung (Fig. 2) mit seiner ersten Steuerfläche (16) an der ersten Gehäusefläche (21) dichtend anliegt und zwischen seiner zweiten Steuerfläche (18) und der zweiten Gehäusefläche (22) einen zweiten Kanal (29) bildet, in welchem die Bypass-Leitung `(26) mündet.1.
