Claims (7)

1. A plug-in card connecting-strip constituted by a parallelepipedal base (11) and a parallelpipedal cover (12) which support a plurality of electrical contact elements (14) endowed with elasticity, the cover (12) being capable of pivotal displacement about a longitudinal axis (13) parallel to the base (11) so as to take up two positions, an opening position for inserting the edge of a card or a closure position for placing the respective conductive elements (14) of the connecting-strip and of the card in contact with each other, and constituted by a clip (15) in the form of a U-section member, the two arms (16, 17) of which apply against two areas of the base (11) and the cover (12) respectively, the clip (15) being arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis (13) of the strip and close to said axis, the arms (16, 17) of unequal lengths ensuring closure by application of a force produced by elastic deformation of the junction area (18) formed between the two arms (16, 17), said strip comprising moreover means cooperating between the lower shorter arm (17) and the base (11), characterized in that the cover (12) comprises at least one lug (19) cooperating with at least one corresponding recess (31) which is supported by the upper, longer arm (16) of the clip and permits the fixation of the clip (15) in the strip.
2. A connecting-strip according to claim 1, characterized in that the upper arm (16) is applied against the cover (12) substantially in front of the electrical contacts (C1' C2).
3. A connection-strip according to one of the claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the lower arm (17) is a short arm which is provided with a rim (30) for fixing the clip in a recess made in the ase (11).
4. A connection-strip according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the upper arm (16) of the clip (15) which applies against the cover (12) is provided at its ends with two pins (33, 34) which can pivot in two recesses (35) of the cover (12).
5. A connection-strip according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the junction area (18) of the two arms (16, 17) of the clip (15) is provided with openings (32).
6. A connecting-strip according to claim 5, characterized in that an elbowed lever (50) is placed across one of said openings (32), the elbowed portion (51) being inserted between the base (11) and the junction area (18) of the clip (15), opening of the strip being produced by rotational displacement of the lever about a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis (13) of said strip.
7. A plug-in card connector, characterized in that it comprises at least one strip according to any one of the preceding claims.
