Description

The invention relates to a soap dispenser for liquid soaps with a base frame which can be fastened to a wall and on which an assembly formed from a soap container, outflow device and handle lever for actuating a delivery piston of the outflow device is arranged, the handle lever being pivotably articulated on the assembly.

Known designs of such soap dispensers, e.g. US-A-4036 406, are not yet optimal in terms of their usability as well as their function. So it is e.g. in known designs it is necessary to grip a handle lever with wet or dirty hands, which is not only perceived as unpleasant, but is also unsanitary. In addition, known embodiments have the disadvantage that they donate irregular amounts of soap, i.e. either too little or too much soap is dispensed and often soap liquid drips.

The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a soap dispenser which is simple and hygienic to use and which dispenses constant amounts of soap regardless of the actuating force. In addition, the device should be robust and reliable.

To achieve this object, it is proposed according to the invention that in a generic soap dispenser the assembly is resiliently pivotably mounted on the base frame, a stop being arranged on the base frame in the path of movement of the handle lever, which causes the handle lever to pivot relative to the assembly when the assembly is pivoted relative to the base frame .

A major advantage of the soap dispenser designed according to the invention is that it is no longer necessary to touch the handle lever to operate the device, but rather the soap dispenser can be actuated in such a way that pressure is exerted on the assembly from the front, which is generally accommodated in a housing will be exercised. This pressure can preferably be carried out with the elbow, since practically the entire front surface of the soap dispenser is available as an actuating surface. The possibility of actuation directly on the handle lever also remains.

A soap dispenser for liquid soaps is known from EP-A-0002183, in which two housing parts are telescopically pushed together to dispense the liquid soap. This dispenser can also be used with parts of the body other than wet or dirty hands, e.g. with the elbow, actuatable. However, the manufacturing effort for a telescopic guide is higher than for a pivotable bearing. In addition, the functionality of this known dispenser is not ensured to a sufficient extent, since tilting in the central telescopic guide and thus blocking the dispenser is to be feared if the pressure force is applied on one side in the area of the housing edge.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the pivotable mounting of the assembly on the base frame is carried out in such a way that the assembly is fastened to a spring tab made of elastic plastic and formed integrally with the base frame. This training, in which there is no need for a joint, represents a particularly simple and robust solution.

Another embodiment of the invention is that the handle lever is mounted laterally positionable in its pivot bearings and various stops are provided on the assembly for the handle lever, which allow a differently large pivoting movement of the handle lever relative to the assembly depending on the lateral positioning of the handle lever. This ensures that the delivery piston actuated directly by the handle lever experiences a different stroke volume depending on the pivoting movement of the handle lever, so that the amount of soap dispensed can be adjusted by the lateral adjustment of the handle lever.

Of the further developments of the invention, as shown in claims 4 to 8, the training according to claim 6 should be emphasized, with which dripping of the soap dispenser after actuation is avoided with certainty by the valve body sliding back in the suction channel when the delivery piston returns and thereby a drop hanging from the outlet nozzle of the soap dispenser is sucked in.

Irrespective of the resiliently pivotable mounting of the assembly on the base frame according to claim 1, the present invention also relates to a soap dispenser for liquid soaps with a base frame which can be fastened to a wall and on which an assembly formed from a soap container, outflow device and handle lever for actuating a delivery piston of the outflow device is arranged is, wherein the handle lever is pivotally hinged to the assembly and the pivoting movement of the handle lever relative to the assembly and thus the amount of soap that can be dispensed can be adjusted with the aid of an adjustable limiting device. In a known dispenser of this type (CH-A-285438), the adjustable limiting device is formed by an adjusting screw which is arranged on the upper lever arm of the two-arm handle lever. The manufacture, assembly and maintenance of this limiting device is relatively complex. In addition, the adjusting screw, which is in contact with a wall of the base frame, can easily cause damage to the dispenser in the large number of dispenser operations. The shortcomings of this known donor are thereby be in a donor of the type mentioned above lift that the handle lever is mounted laterally positionable in its pivot bearings and various stops are provided on the assembly for the handle lever, which allow a differently large pivoting movement of the handle lever relative to the assembly depending on the lateral positioning of the handle lever.

Also independent of the resiliently pivotable mounting of the assembly on the base frame according to claim 1, the present invention also relates to a soap dispenser for liquid soaps with a base frame which can be fastened to a wall and to which a soap container, an outflow device and an actuating element of a delivery piston of the outflow device are assigned, wherein the outflow device comprises a delivery chamber, each with a spring-loaded inlet and outlet valve. With a known soap dispenser of this type (CH-A-375860), dripping of the soap dispenser cannot be avoided with the required reliability. In order to reliably prevent such dripping, it is proposed according to the invention in a dispenser of the type mentioned above that the outlet valve has a spring-loaded valve body slidingly guided in a suction channel, the passage cross section of the outlet valve being arranged in the suction channel at such a distance from the valve seat that it is only is released after a predetermined idle stroke of the valve body.

Further developments and improvements of the invention will be explained with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawings.

Die Lagerung des Griffhebels 13 an der Baugruppe erfolgt in Schwenklagern 33.In the cross-sectional illustration of a soap dispenser according to FIG. 1, a base frame with which it rests and is fastened to a wall is designated by 15. An assembly comprising a soap container 1, an outflow device with valve housing 3, a delivery piston 6, an outlet nozzle 8 and a handle lever 13 is arranged on the base frame 15. To cover the assembly with the above-mentioned individual parts, a hood 14 is used, which in the exemplary embodiment shown is hinged in pivot bearings 24 to the assembly and is secured by means of snaps 20. The handle lever 13 is mounted on the assembly in pivot bearings 33.

Details of the mounting of the handle lever 13 on the assembly can be seen from Fig. 3b. The handle lever 13 has excessively long journals which protrude into corresponding bearing bores in the soap container 1. As a result, the handle lever 13 can be positioned laterally in the pivot bearings 33. Spacers can be provided on one side as a safeguard against lateral displacement. This lateral positioning serves to adjust the swivel path of the handle lever 13 relative to the assembly and thus to adjust the desired delivery volume of the delivery piston 6. In FIG. 3b, stops 23a, 23b and 23c are provided on the soap container 1, with which, depending on the lateral positioning of the handle levers 13 interacts with its consoles. In Fig. 3b, the handle lever 13 is shown in its middle position as it just abuts the stops 23b. This position corresponds to an average pivoting path of the handle lever 13. The stops 23a allow a smaller pivoting path, i.e. they correspond to a minimum delivery volume of the delivery plunger 6, while the stops 23c, which coincide in the illustrated embodiment with a wall of the soap container 1, correspond to a maximum pivoting path of the handle lever 13 and thus a maximum delivery volume of the delivery plunger 6.

The pivotable mounting of the assembly on the base frame 15 is illustrated in Fig. 2. The base frame 15 has a spring tab 25 which is integrally connected to it and to which the assembly is screwed. The end positions of the spring clip 25 with the assembly attached to it are indicated in FIG. 2 and are determined on the one hand by a hook-shaped stop 9 and on the other hand by the base plate of the base frame 15. The handle lever 13, of which only the bearing point 33 on the assembly and the lower end are shown in FIG. 2, is constantly in contact with a stop 17 of the base frame, so that from this position it is only pulled forwards in the direction of the arrow from the retaining wall can be. As can be seen from FIG. 1, however, the handle lever 13 pivots relative to the assembly when pressure is exerted from the front onto the hood 14 in the direction of the retaining wall in accordance with arrow x and thus the entire assembly pivots, as in FIG. 2 indicated, executes, since the handle lever 13 rests on the base frame 15 and consequently does not perform any relative movement relative to the base frame.

Either by a pulling movement on the handle lever 13 in accordance with the direction of the arrow shown in FIG. 2 or by a pivoting movement in accordance with the direction of arrow x of the entire assembly, the delivery piston 6 is pressed into the valve housing 3 against the force of a return spring 12. The soap liquid located in the delivery chamber 7 presses a valve ball 19 of an outlet valve 11, which bears against a valve piston 18, against the force of a compression spring away from a valve seat 4 in the direction downward. However, since the valve ball 19 and the valve piston 18 slide in a suction channel 5, a passage cross section for the soap liquid is only released when the valve ball 19 has reached the lower edge of the suction channel 5 and is pushed out of the suction channel 5. The soap liquid can then in the chamber underneath and then flow out through the outlet nozzle 8. As soon as the delivery piston 6 has reached its bottom dead center in the valve housing 3 and moves backwards again, the valve ball 19 and the valve piston 18 slide back under the action of a valve spring in the suction channel 5 until the valve ball 19 is seated on the valve seat 4. As a result, a suction effect is exerted on the outlet nozzle 8, so that a soap drop hanging approximately on the outlet nozzle is sucked in. Instead of the two-part valve body formed from valve ball 19 and valve piston 18, only one valve ball or only one valve piston can be provided. After the valve ball 19 has been seated on the valve seat 4, the spring-loaded inlet valve 10 opens due to the further retraction of the delivery piston 6, so that soap liquid can flow from the soap container 1 into the delivery chamber 7.
