Definitions

  • the invention relates to a centrifugal spreader for distributing fertilizers and. Like. With a storage container, in the bottom of which two metering elements are provided for two scattering elements arranged transversely to the direction of travel, each of which consists of a rotatingly driven centrifugal disc equipped with at least two throwing blades.
  • a centrifugal spreader known from DE-A-1 457 772
  • Spreading amount per unit area having edge zones of the spread pattern can be changed in that, seen in the scattering direction, a cover screen is provided that can be switched on and off in front of the spreading elements, which consists of a central part and on both sides of it pivotable about upright bolts and lockable side parts arranged in different angular positions.
  • the width of the lateral edge zones can only be reduced to a relatively small extent by swiveling in the side parts of the cover screen without simultaneously reducing the working width of the centrifugal spreader.
  • undesirable fertilizer accumulations occur within these marginal zones.
  • a further and often necessary reduction in the marginal zones cannot then be carried out without simultaneously reducing the working width.
  • the further swiveling in of the side parts required for this further intensifies the fertilizer accumulations in the marginal zones, so that emergence and growth damage of the crop plants developing therein cannot be avoided within these marginal zones.
  • the subject of GB-A-1 022 777 is a centrifugal spreader, in which a metering element is provided for each spreader, which is adjustable.
  • the throwing blades are firmly attached to the centrifugal disc.
  • the throwing blades of which are adjustable.
  • the throwing blades are arranged on the centrifugal disc so as to be pivotable about a vertical joint, so that the horizontal angle of attack can be changed.
  • the throwing discs are roughly channel-shaped and fastened to horizontal hinges so that the discharge angle can be adjusted.
  • the invention has for its object to design a centrifugal spreader of the type mentioned in such a way that a uniform distribution of the fertilizers and other spreading materials on the ground and thus an optimal spreading pattern are guaranteed in every application.
  • This object is achieved in that at least one longer throwing blade and one shorter throwing blade are provided on each centrifugal disc, the distance of the distance edge of the longer throwing blade from the axis of rotation of the centrifugal disc being greater than the corresponding distance for the shorter throwing blade.
  • centrifugal spreader designed according to the invention, it is possible to enlarge or reduce the edge zone on one or both sides of the spreading pattern with decreasing spreading thickness, depending on the prevailing conditions of use, without changing the working width of the centrifugal spreader, the spreading strength and spreading uniformity being maintained in the remaining area of the spreading pattern stay.
  • the working width of the centrifugal spreader can also be changed or precisely adapted to a working width specified by a leading or previously used seed drill. If a spreading thickness intended for the maximum working width is to be achieved, i. H. Spreading quantity per unit area are maintained, the metering elements only need to be changed according to the working width ratio, so that even in this case a uniform fertilization of the field area intended for this, including the edge areas of the desired or required spreading strength, is possible. ,
  • edge strips are to be sprinkled, so that the horizontal angle of attack can be adjusted so that the scattering occurs essentially to the rear.
  • An almost constant spreading thickness is then achieved over the spreading width, which is particularly important since it is no longer possible to travel with overlapping the edge zone, in which a too weak edge zone could be compensated for.
  • the change in the free lateral throwing distance alone or in addition by changing the vertical discharge angle of the fertilizers thrown by the spreading elements is particularly advantageous because the centrifugal spreader can also be used for fertilization of the bones without further adjustments or use of devices to increase the distance between the ground of its spreading elements. If the centrifugal spreader is designed as an add-on machine for the power lift of a tractor, it can even be used for late fertilization of plants that have already grown up due to these measures, with the above-described possibilities of changing the edge zones of the spreading pattern and the working width being retained.
  • the centrifugal spreader designated as a whole by 1, is equipped with a frame 2, on which a storage container 3 and an angular gear 4 are attached.
  • the lower area of the storage container 3 is divided by a roof-shaped central part 5 into two outlet funnels 6, in the bottom plates 7 of which there are outlet openings 8.
  • These outlet openings 8 can be closed by themselves using slide-shaped metering elements 9 and can be adjusted in different opening widths.
  • scattering elements 11 on the output shafts 12 of the angular gear 4 are detachably arranged transversely to the direction of travel indicated by the arrow 10 in FIG. 2 and secured against axial displacement on the output shafts 12 by means of a spring split pin 13.
  • Each spreader 11 consists of a centrifugal disc 14, a longer throwing blade 15 and a shorter throwing blade 16.
  • the longer throwing blade 15 has a scattering edge 17 with a greater distance A from the axis of rotation 19 of the centrifugal disc 14 than one attached to the shorter throwing blade 16 Scattering edge 18 with a smaller distance a (Fig. 1).
  • Each throwing blade 15, 16 is equipped with an inner part 20, on which in the longer throwing blade 15 an outer part 21, in the shorter throwing blade 16 an outer part 22 can be pivoted in the vertical plane and can be locked with the aid of a clamping nut 23.
  • the discharge angle oc measured in the vertical plane can be set in different sizes for the outer parts 21, 22 and thus also for the scattering material particles thrown off by the control elements 11 (FIG. 1).
  • each centrifugal disc 14 for fastening the inner part 20 of the longer throwing blade 15 has a radially arranged elongated hole 25, so that the distance A of the longer throwing blade 15 or the distance a of the shorter throwing blade 16 from the axis of rotation 19 can be changed.
  • the perpendicular discharge angle 1X of the outer parts 21, 22 of the throwing blades 15, 16 to the line 32 running perpendicular to the axis of rotation 19 is 30 ° for the left-hand centrifugal disc 14, as seen in the direction of travel 10, during the horizontal angle of attack ⁇ of these throwing blades has a size of 90 °. If the throwing blades 15, 16 on the right-hand centrifugal disc 14 were now set in the same way, the scattering work of the centrifugal spreader 1 attached to a tractor 33 would result in the symmetrical scattering pattern 34 framed in FIG.
  • the edge zones 36 with decreasing scattering strength have the same width B as the central region 37 thereof, so that the working width, i.e. H. the effective spreading width E resulting from the overlap of the edge zones 36 when connecting is less than the spreading width S of the centrifugal spreader 1.
  • the centrifugal broadcaster 1 is to be driven along a field edge 40 delimited by a trench 38 with an adjoining road 39, the distance F from the center of the centrifugal broadcaster 1 marked by the line 41 being substantially less than its half effective spreading width E is and there must be no irregularities in the fertilizer distribution on the soil surface 35 of the field to be spread.
  • the distance F from the center of the centrifugal broadcaster 1 marked by the line 41 being substantially less than its half effective spreading width E is and there must be no irregularities in the fertilizer distribution on the soil surface 35 of the field to be spread.
  • the inner parts 20 of the two throwing blades 15, 16 are locked in the position pivoted back against the direction of rotation 29, so that the outer parts 21, 22 with the tangents 30 applied to the orbits 27 ', 28' of their scattering edges 17, 18 in the direction of rotation 29 , 31 include a smaller angle of attack ⁇ '.
  • the right slide-shaped metering element 9 is set so that the right outlet opening 8 has a smaller opening width than the left outlet opening.
  • the working width of the right spreading element 11 is exactly adapted to the distance F of the field edge 40 from the spreading center 41.
  • the spread rate is reduced in such a way that the same spreading strength T results on the right side of the centrifugal spreader 1 as on the entire field.
  • This spreading strength T is maintained up to the field edge 40, where a very narrow edge zone 36 'is formed in the scatter pattern, the width B' of which corresponds to only a fraction of the width B of the edge zones 36.
  • the corresponding settings of the throwing blades can be made easily according to a table.
  • the spreading work of the right or the left spreading element 11 can be adapted to a larger or smaller distance F of the field edge strip 40 from the center of the spreading device 41 by appropriate conversion of the throwing blades 15, 16. If the distance F of the field edge 40 from the spreader center 41 is equal to half the effective spreading width E, only the edge zone 36 need be shortened accordingly by changing the throwing blades without changing the working width E.
