Le dispositif d'actionnement est complété par un second groupe moto-réducteur 20 comprenant un moteur électrique 21 et un réducteur 22. Le moteur peut par exemple présenter une puissance de 0,25 CV. et développer un couple de 1,4 m.. daN pour une vitesse de sortie de 100 tours/minute. L'arbre de sortie 23 du réducteur est relié à un pignon à chaîne 24 par l'intermédiaire d'un limiteur de couple 25 comprenant deux flasques 26 portant des garnitures de friction 27 et disposés de part et d'autre du pignon. Une bague 28 en bronze fritté est interposée entre le moyeu 24a du pignon 24 et les parties axiales 26a des flasques 26. On remarquera que le moyeu 24a du pignon est sensiblement plus épais que la denture 24b de ce pignon (de 2 à 4 fois par exemple), de façon à pouvoir résister aux efforts radiaux développés en cours d'utilisation. La pression de serrage des flasques sur le pignon est déterminée par des ressorts 29 interposés entre le flasque adjacent et une plaque 30 fixée sur l'arbre du réducteur par tout moyen convenable. Le nombre et la force des ressorts 29 sont choisis de façon à obtenir un couple limite déterminé qui peut par exemple varier entre 0, 5 et 1 m. daN.
