Ein derartiger Halter ist aus der DT-OS 24 21 215 bekannt. Besonders im Falle von großformatigen und schweren Bilderhaltern bedeutet das, daß sowohl das Material der Stützplatte als auch das der Klammer sehr fest und widerstandsfähig sein muß. Ferner besteht die Gefahr, daß die einzelnen herausgeschobenen Klammern verlorengehen können. 9. A frameless support as claimed in claim 7 or claim 8, characterised in that the ends (14) of the bridge arms (15, 15') have rounded acting faces.

10. A frameless support as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 9 characterised in that the inner end (12) of the gripper (1) is a rounded off end.

11. A frameless support as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the finger part (3) is narrower than the gripper (1).

12. A frameless support as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the hanging up opening (16, 16') is three-sided and placed pointing towards the finger part (3).

13. A frameless support as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the pins (18) are placed on the lines halving the angles of the corners of the backing plate (2).

14. A frameless support as claimed in any one of claims 1 and 3 to 13, characterised in that the gripper (1) is joined by way of the pin (18) with a head (19), with the backing plate (2) so that it may not be separated from it.
