Abstract

Предлагаются новые способы, ткани и композиции для увеличения массы поджелудочной железы у млекопитающего-реципиента, включающие забор незрелой ткани поджелудочной железы у млекопитающего-донора и пересадке этой ткани поджелудочной железы в брюшную полость млекопитающего-реципиента в условиях, которые обеспечивают васкуляризацию и созревание незрелой панкреатической ткани, и тем самым обеспечивая развитие функционирующей химерной эндокринной железы, которая вырабатывает, по меньшей мере, инсулин в организме реципиента.
