Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a flame burner equipped with a nozzle located in the head, in which, in addition to the annularly located gas supply channels, the nozzle is provided with a central gas supply channel.
The present invention additionally relates to a method of fire stripping of a metal surface using the specified flame burner.
In known flame burners, combustible gas is directed to the head of the nozzle through ring-shaped gas supply channels and mix it with oxygen supplied through the central gas supply channel to form a flame of combustion. Flame burners are used for various purposes. For example, in the process of cooling slabs made by casting, gaps are often formed, which must be eliminated by surface treatment. Similarly, the barbs or whiskers formed during the machining of slabs, for example during machining, are also subject to removal. The used fire stripper burners are moved along the damaged surface in order to eliminate surface defects, and this fire stripping process can be performed using a hand torch or an automatically guided torch, with the flame torch attached to the controlled arm of the robot.
The cost of surface treatment mainly depends on the processing time and the gas volume consumed, while it is necessary to ensure high quality surface treatment.
The aim of the present invention is to provide a flame burner and a method for fire stripping, in which an optimum quality of the workpiece surface is achieved while minimizing oxygen consumption and processing time.
To achieve this goal in accordance with the present invention provides for the creation of a fiery burner described in claim 1 of the claims, and the method described in claim 9 of the claims.
Additional improvements are described in the dependent claims.
The flame burner in accordance with the present invention is provided with a nozzle including several gas supply channels, which are annularly arranged around the central gas supply channel. The central gas supply channel has at least three consecutive sections, when viewed in the direction of flow, including the first section tapering to the minimum internal diameter, the second section, the inner surface of which diverges cone-shaped, forming a diameter exceeding the minimum internal diameter, and a third section having a constant cross section, preferably a constant inner diameter of the cylinder. An important factor is the narrowing of the internal diameter in cross section to a critical size of diameter, followed by a conical expansion. Functioning as a stabilizing section, the last third section, having a constant cross-section, is designed to maintain the generated gas flow profile. Using this design, a pulsating gas flow having a sound velocity or supersonic velocity at the nozzle outlet can be created. The ratio of the oxygen pressure before the nozzle and the external pressure, on the one hand, and the ratio of the oxygen pressure at the nozzle outlet and the external pressure determine the gas flow profile. If the pressure at the nozzle outlet is lower than the external pressure, the outgoing gas flow has a tapering shape in the initial section behind the nozzle, while when the external pressure is exceeded, the gas flow expands, becoming barrel-shaped. If the oxygen pressure in front of the nozzle and at the nozzle exit is equal to the external pressure, a rectilinear external flame zone of the initial section of the outgoing gas is formed.
The frequency of pulsation achieved by means of a nozzle, and the amplitude in each case depends on the initial pressure, the degree of cone-shaped constriction and the degree of cone-like expansion. The resulting non-isobaric turbulent supersonic flow is characterized by a high degree of spatial inhomogeneities of the velocity and pressure fields, which leads to changes in the unstable state, i.e. to impulse shocks and layer displacements at a high velocity gradient. This flow rate and pressure pulsation create a pulsation spectrum. Starting from a certain value, the gas velocity locally reaches the supersonic speed in the described nozzle in the minimum critical section of the nozzle, and when this value is exceeded, impulse squeezed and thin sections appear in the form of pulses. These types of pulsed waves can form a barrel flow, the compression stress of which depends on the ratio of oxygen pressure in the nozzle and the external pressure, as well as on the so-called critical velocity ratio, which is the ratio of the gas velocity in the nozzle outlet to the speed of sound. In principle, the flame torch has a nozzle, which is shaped in the form of a Laval nozzle, which, together with the third section, functioning as a stabilizing section, forms an oscillating resonator.
Without going beyond the scope of the present invention, it is generally envisaged that the first and second sections are arranged in series, however, short individual sections can be made in them, in which the minimum diameter remains constant. The flow rate is maintained in such short individual sections.
In the present invention, the central gas feed channel also ends directly
Также инкорпорированы решения в пределах объема настоящего изобретения, в соответствии с которыми имеется несколько колец коаксиально расположенных газоподающих каналов, заканчивающихся на различных уровнях позади выходного отверстия центрального канала в определенном порядке.- 1 012772 in front of the level determined by the openings with which the gas supply channels are terminated in a ring-shaped manner. Solutions within the scope of the present invention are also incorporated, in accordance with which there are several rings of coaxially located gas supply channels ending at various levels behind the outlet of the central channel in a certain order.
To ensure technical flow, the length of the first section is preferably less than the length of the second section and also preferably less than the length of the third section. Depending on the required impulse characteristics, the size of the third section can be chosen so that it is longer than, equal in length or even shorter in length than the total length of the first and second sections.
In accordance with a further improvement of the present invention, the diameter of the third section is smaller than the maximum output diameter of the central gas supply duct before the first section. In order to optimize the effect, the diameter and length of these three sections are coordinated in such a way as to ensure the outflow of gas from the nozzle outlet in the form of pulses, preferably having a frequency within 100-650 Hz. Preferably, the maximum gas flow rate in the central gas supply channel is 2 M at given oxygen and combustible gas pressures.
The nozzle may have a circular or concentric section, in which, in particular, the central gas supply channel has an annular section in order to extend at least one ring or possibly two rings on which additional gas supply channels are located for supplying combustible gas.
As is known from the prior art, the nozzle head is preferably a cooled head, while water, in particular, is acceptable as a cooler.
100.The method in accordance with the present invention for the flame treatment of a metal surface, such as a slab surface, is characterized in that oxygen supplied through the central nozzle of the flame burner is oscillated so that a pulsating stream of oxygen leaves the nozzle outlet at the speed of sound or supersonic by speed. The flow of pulsating oxygen consists of longitudinal waves, i.e., a periodic sequence of increasing and decreasing the pressure of gaseous oxygen. In this case, using this method, the pulsation is provided not only for the central oxygen flow, but also for the oscillations of the peripherally supplied combustible gas. As a result, significant savings in oxygen consumption are achieved and the smooth surface of the metal part processed using fire stripping technology is ensured. Preferably, the process parameters, in particular the supplied oxygen pressure, under which the oxygen flow enters the nozzle, are selected depending on the shape of the nozzle so as to ensure the distribution of the oxygen flow to the central flow and peripheral flows. The ratio of oxygen pressure to the central nozzle to ambient pressure N = po / p, and preferably is in the range from 1 to 200, while the ratio of the oxygen pressure P at the outlet of a nozzle to ambient pressure and p is 0.1 to 100.
Дополнительные примеры осуществления настоящего изобретения и подробное описание изобретения приведены ниже со ссылками на прилагаемые чертежи, на которых фиг. 1 - общий вид сбоку и продольное сечение сопла пламенной горелки в соответствии с настоящим изобретением;Additional embodiments of the present invention and a detailed description of the invention are given below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which FIG. 1 is a general side view and a longitudinal section of a flame burner nozzle in accordance with the present invention;
FIG. 2 is a top view of the nozzle and FIG. 3a-b is a cross section of a central gas supply channel having various forms of gas flow.
In accordance with FIG. 1 and 2 the main element of the flame burner is a nozzle 10 located in the head, in which, in addition to the annular matrix of gas supply channels 11, the nozzle is equipped with a central gas supply channel 12. As shown in FIG. 2, the annular matrixes of gas inlet openings 111 and 112 on the rings are located concentric to the gas supply channel 12. Their angular interval α is determined by their number η so that it is 360 / n. In this case, the gas supply channels 111 and 112 communicate with the gas supply channel 11, as shown in FIG. 1. A combustible gas or a mixture of oxygen and combustible gas is supplied through channels 112, 111 and 11, while the central gas supply channel 12 is designed to supply oxygen.
The central gas supply channel 12 along its entire length b is divided into sections b 1 , b 2 , b 4 , b 3 and b c or b 1, b c and b c , with the latter sections being of particular importance. Section L 1 corresponds to inlet gas inlet section used in nozzles of prior art. However, the shape of a Laval nozzle first central gas-supply duct 12 disposed along the length L s, characterized by novelty. This nozzle shape is formed by a section in which the inner diameter of the nozzle narrows to the minimum critical diameter b tt , which is maintained along the length L 4 (see also Fig. 3). In the section located directly on the outlet side in the direction 13 of the gas flow, the inner surface of the gas supply channel 12 expands smoothly, forming a channel of larger diameter b k (see Fig. 3), which remains constant until the nozzle outlet across the rest of the length b to . In the specific illustrated embodiment of the present invention,
While C, b 2 , b 3 and b 4 remain constant at a given pressure of oxygen and combustible gas, the length of b k can vary up to 65 or 25 mm.
FIG. 3 illustrates sectional views of a central gas supply channel in a section provided with a Laval nozzle and in a stabilizing section. The gaseous oxygen entering the section in the form of a Laval nozzle is fed under pressure P 0 and at temperature T 0 . The pressure P A is in the end of said section in the form of a Laval nozzle, i.e. at the exit from the side of the inlet section b c . The first section, in which the nozzle is narrowed in the shape of a truncated cone, is denoted by reference numeral 121, the adjacent expansion section of the nozzle in the shape of a truncated cone is indicated by reference numeral 122, while the last section with a constant diameter is designated by reference numeral 123 and has the shape illustrated in FIG. 3. In FIG. 3a-b illustrate various gas pulsations depending on the initial pressure P0, which take the form of longitudinal waves and in which the alternation of higher and lower pressure occurs. It is also obvious that, depending on the selected initial pressure P 0 , the central flow of gaseous oxygen surrounded by the peripheral flow of combustible gas narrows or expands. The length b k is a determining factor in relation to the extent to which the pulsating oxygen flow is stabilized.
Flame burner in accordance with the present invention can be made in the form of a manual or automatic device. The pressure values used, at which gaseous oxygen is injected into the central orifice, is in the range from 5 to 20 bar. Natural gas, used as a combustible gas, consists mainly of methane and is supplied under pressure in the range from 1 to 5 bar. Methane is fed through the nozzle inlet 111, after which it is mixed with oxygen supplied through the nozzle inlet 112 so that a peripheral flow of a mixture of oxygen and methane is provided to the nozzle outlet through the annular opening 11. The speed achieved in the central outlet 112 at the specified discharge pressure of the air flow must be within the limits of supersonic speed and must be up to 2 M at given values of oxygen and combustible gas pressure.
Below are the results achieved when testing the flame burners.
First, a first flame burner was used, having a known nozzle in accordance with the prior art for firing a slab. Oxygen was supplied through a central nozzle under a pressure of approximately 12 x 10 5 Pa, while combustible gas was supplied through a peripherally located nozzle under a pressure of 2 x 10 5 Pa.
A flame burner equipped with a nozzle in accordance with the present invention was further used. Due to the pressure impulses that have arisen, the backfire of the flame was so strong that the gas-flame processing in the manual mode turned out to be impractical at an oxygen pressure of 12x10 5 Pa. In this regard, the oxygen pressure was reduced to 8x10 5 Pa, while the pressure of the combustible gas remained constant.
It was found that in the first case, carrying out a gas treatment of oxygen consumption amounted to 370-290 m 3 . When conducting similar gas treatment processing, oxygen consumption was only 90-100 m 3 when using a nozzle in accordance with the present invention, which proves that this method allows to achieve significant savings in gaseous oxygen.
