The product obtained using this method and containing 50-55% of furostanol saponins has a stimulating effect on the functions of the reproductive system. According to the description of the invention, the obtained standardized mixture of steroidal saponins is used in the preparation of coated tablets containing the substance tribestan.
No other experiments have been described in the literature aimed at achieving a higher concentration of furostanol saponins in the extract obtained from the aerial part of Trb1i5 and 5Ge51n5b5 to enhance its known biological activity.
The problem solved by this invention is to extract from the above-ground part of Tbu1i5 1epe51r15 b. substances containing a high level of furostanol saponins, which can be used to obtain new drugs with new indications for use.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
3%.In accordance with this invention, the problem is solved by obtaining a standardized mixture of steroidal saponins containing more than 80% furostanol saponins. The production method consists in the fact that the crushed plant material from the aerial part of Tbl1i5 1gge51g15 b. subjected to extraction using an aqueous methanol solvent with a water / methanol ratio in the range from 1: 1 to 1:99 at a temperature of from 50 to 55 ° C. The extract is then treated with activated carbon and, after filtration, concentrated in vacuo until methanol is completely removed. The aqueous concentrate is then extracted with dichloromethane. Dichloromethane is then distilled off and regenerated for further use in this method. The aqueous solution thus purified is acidified with hydrochloric acid to a pH of 3-5 and subjected to extraction with n-butanol saturated with water in a known manner. The butanol extracts are then purified using two methods. The first technique consists in washing the butanol extracts of sodium chloride and concentrating in vacuo to give a dry residue, which is dissolved in low molecular weight alcohol. The solution thus obtained was added dropwise to acetone and left at a temperature of 10-15 ° C. for 24 hours, then filtered, washed with acetone and dried. The second method consists in washing the butanol extracts with a 0.5-1.5% sodium hydroxide solution and after separating the two layers, the butanol layer is washed with water until pH 7 is reached, then the butanol extracts are concentrated in vacuo until the organic solvent will not be completely removed and the residue dried. Thus, a soft and light yellow powder is obtained containing more than 80% of furostanol saponins. The yield of air-dried plant material is approximately 3%.

Material and Method
Plant material.
A substance containing furostanol saponins (PS) was isolated from Tg | (21doryu11aseae) in accordance with this invention. Lyophilized PSs were stored at 4 ° C protected from light and moisture. The solution used in the experiments was prepared as needed in physiological saline.
Experimental animals and methods.
1.Male 1SK mice (average body weight from 18 to 20 g) were given orally different doses of PS in accordance with the description presented in table. one.
Experimental infection.
An experimental infection was caused in the mouse by subcutaneous injection of 25-30 bacterial cells from an 18-hour K1 agar culture. Rieitoschae (strain No. 52145, Pasteur Institute, Paris). The dose of infection was chosen after preliminary experiments designed to determine a 50% survival rate. Infection followed for up to 8 days, taking into account the general condition of the subject, mortality rate (percentage), survival rate and average survival time (SST 8 in days). The protective effect of FS was evaluated by increasing the survival rate and the average survival time was calculated as the difference between the results for the experimental groups and control groups.
Antimicrobial Suppressive Test ίη ugo.
The sensitivity of K1 cells. Species to FS were determined using an adapted version of the Bauer (Waieg) method (4). 0.2 ml of bacterial suspension (10 cells / ml) were seeded in Petri dishes (100 mm) containing agar. Wells were made (10 mm) and filled with 0.2 ml of a FS solution with different concentrations. Inhibition regions were measured after incubation for 24 hours at 37 ° C. Keflin (L111y, USA) with minimal inhibitory concentrations of 0.150 mg / ml was used as a positive control.

The mean number of washed AMAs from each group was determined, and then the cells were placed in incubation plates (ΒΏ8Ε, Scotland) at a concentration of 3 × 10 cells / ml to assess their phagocytic and microbicidal activity using the 3 H-thymidine radiometric method (5).
Protective effect against infection.
The results obtained in this way show that FS affect the course and outcome of experimental infection in mice caused by K1. Repeishotai. In treated animals, the mortality rate reached a maximum of 30-40% on the 4th - 5th day after infection (see the following figure). The peak mortality rate in the control groups was significantly higher (70-80%) and was observed on the 2nd - 3rd day after infection. To summarize, the introduction of FS leads to a reduced severity of the clinical picture, a lower mortality rate, and a prolonged survival time for the treated animals.
The anti-infectious effect of FS varies in accordance with the dosage and mode of administration (Table 1). The highest administered dose (625.0 mg / kg) gave the strongest protective effect in all 10-day administration regimens, starting from 35, 25, or 15 days before infection; a peak effect was observed when the last dose of PS was administered 15 days before infection.
In contrast to the marked activity of ίη νίνο, the FS did not show antibacterial activity of ίη νΐΐΓο. A solution of FS in physiological serum at concentrations of 0.01; 0.025; 0.05; 0.1; 2.0; 5.0; 10.0; 25.0; 50.0; 100.0; 250.0 and 500.0 mg / ml did not inhibit K1 growth. Rpeishoshaye, in contrast to the marked suppression observed in the group of keflin, with an average diameter of 21.5 ± 1.0 mm
Stimulation of aMa.
2).Doses of 625.0 mg / kg cause an increase in the number of aMa and an increase in their phagocytic and microbicidal activity with a maximum on the 20th day after the last administration of PS (Table 2).
Discussion
(6).Unlike other saponins (3), PS do not exhibit a bactericidal effect. FS affect the main effector mechanisms of cellular and humoral immunity, thus providing significant protection against infection. The optimal dose of 625.0 mg / kg, administered for consecutive 10 days, is very close to the regimen (6) used in humans. The strongest effect obtained in this mode, when the interval between the last administration of PS and infection is 15 days, can be explained by the dynamics of aMa activation. The maximum increase in their functional activity is observed on the 20th day, which coincides with the acute phase of infection (day 3 to 5). A large number of AMA with increased phagocytic and microbicidal ability prevents the progression of infection and reduces mortality, while increasing survival. Obviously, the protective effect of FS is fully achieved only after a given period of time necessary for the reaction of the immune system. PS activates AMA, which play a significant role in the antibacterial protection of the lungs, in particular the treatment of infections caused by opportunistic microorganisms such as K1. Repeishotai (6).
