Abstract

In a stove, in particular a convection stove, which has a combustion chamber, an ash chamber, a fire grate, and a thermal sensor, and is at the top connected to a smoke outlet, the stove also having damper members 52, 54, 58, 60 control-connected thereto, for supplying primary and secondary combustion air to the combustion chamber, to which primary combustion air is supplied via the ash chamber, that is to say through the fire grate, while secondary combustion air is supplied to an upper part of the combustion chamber, which damper members 52, 54, 58, 60 are also adapted to be adjusted manually, the damper members are mounted on a separate wall part 44 on the rear side of the stove, which wall part 44 is designed with damper openings 24, 30 which are connected to said ash chamber and, respectively, said upper part of the combustion chamber and provided with said sensor, and the damper members comprise damper plates 52, 60 which are adapted so as to be displaced in relation to said damper openings 24, 30 and which are control-connected to operating arms 68, 70 which are preferably adapted so as to be operated from the front side of the stove, and valve plates 54, 58 which are adapted so as to be displaced in relation to the damper plates 52, 60 and which are control-connected to said sensor. By simple measures, a stove is thus obtained, which can automatically maintain a virtually constant optimum combustion temperature and which can work with differentiated control of the ratio between primary and secondary combustion air in such a manner that the flue gas contains a minimum of CO. <IMAGE>
