hvor R^· og R2 er H, halogen, N02, NH2, OH, alkyl eller alkoxy, R3 og R5 er H, alkyl eller aralkyl, R4 er alkyl, aryl eller aralkyl, og R6 er H, alkyl, aryl eller aralkyl, og isomere og syreadditionsalte deraf fremstilles ved reduktion af et quinolizinderivat med formel (II)
(II) 7 1 hvor R' er alkoxy, alkyl, aryl eller aralkyl, og R og R2 ikke er NH2, om ønsket efterfulgt af gentaget reduktion, omdannelse til et salt, frigørelse fra et salt, adskillelse' i isomere og/eller spaltning af et racemat.
