Abstract

The motorized feed vehicle for a mink farm has paste-form food pumped out through flexible or movably suspended tube, manually controlled, for delivery in appropriate quantities above the mink cages. The vehicle is formed as a self-impelled robot and has a programmed computerized control, enabling it to travel on a predetermined route forwards and backwards along the rows of mink cages. It is controlled by a wireless position control technique, using as number of radio units installed in the rows of cages, signals from which are picked up by a receiver and converted by a computer in the vehicle to control commands for it.
