- 1 - DK 171572 B1
Den foreliggende opfindelse angår en fremgangsmåde til blanding af gasser af forskellig art. Opfindelsen angår endvidere en indretning til fremstilling af gasblandinger.
Blanding af gasser gennemføres almindeligvis i 5 statiske blandere. Blandere af denne type omfatter konventionelt krydskorrugerede ledeplader eller mikserskovle med en spiralformet eller skrueformet udformning, der er fastmonteret i et rør.
En gasstrøm injiceres i de kendte blandere i en 10 anden gasstrøm i form af i et stort antal understrømme med en turbulent strøm, der injiceres under en bestemt vinkel eller kombineres i et hvirvlet strømningsmønster til en homogen gasblanding.
En ulempe ved de kendte metoder og blandere af 15 ovenfor anførte type, er et stort pladsbehov der kræves til at opnå det turbulente eller hvirvlende strømningsmønster.
Når gasser blandes i en reaktor kræves hertil ekstra plads i den dyre reaktorskal.
Det har nu overraskende vist sig, at gasser kan 20 blandes i et mindre rum ved at blande forskellige gasser i en flad matrix, der opnås ved at opdele gasserne kontinuerligt i et stort antal delstrømme og lede delstrømmene i forskellige strømningsretninger mod et opsamlings- eller et fordelingskammer.
25 Ved opfindelsen tilvejebringes således en frem gangsmåde til blanding af en procesgas og en kølegas, hvor en eller flere strømme af kølegassen injiceres i en eller flere strømme af procesgassen. Fremgangsmåden er ejendommelig ved at strømmen af den blandede gas bringes i en 30 spiralformig bevægelse i et cylindrisk blandekammer med et centralt fordelingskammer omgivet af et antal spiralskovle monteret på fordelingskammeret, hvor skovlene er forsynet med huller, således at strømmen periodevis opdeles i et antal delstrømme med en radiær strømningsretning mod forde-35 lingskammeret gennem hullerne i skovlene og et antal DK 171572 B1 - 2 - delstrømme med en tangentiel strømningsretning mod fordelingskammeret langs skovlene, og delstrømmene samles i fordelingskammeret.
Opfindelsen tilvejebringer endvidere en statisk 5 blander, som kan anvendes ved gennemførelse af fremgangsmåden .
Blanderen ifølge opfindelsen omfatter indenfor en cylindrisk skal, et centralt fordelingskammer, 10 en horisontal ledeplade tilpasset tværsnitsarealet af et annulært kammer der er dannet mellem fordelingskammeret og skallen, hvor blandingskammeret er forsynet med et antal spiral-skovle, der er monteret på ledepladen og strækker sig fra 15 fordelingskammeret til skallen, idet spiralskovlene er beregnet til at dele den tilledte gasblanding i et stort antal delstrømme mod det centrale fordelingskammer dels med en radiær retning gennem huller i skovlene og dels med en tangentiel strømningsretning langs skovlene.
20 Opfindelsen beskrives nærmere i det følgende under henvisning til tegningen, hvor Figuren viser en statisk blander i overensstemmelse med en specifik udførelsesform for opfindelsen.
Statisk blander 1 består af fordelingskammer 4 kon-25 centrisk anbragt indenfor cylindrisk skal 2. Et annulært rum mellem kammer 4 og skal 2 er underdelt i et antal blandekamre 16, som er omsluttet af spiralskovle 6 og ledeplade 8.
Når blanderen anvendes ved køling af en procesgas i 30 en katalytisk reaktor, kan blanderen anbringes mellem to katalysatorlejer, hvor katalysatorpartiklerne i et topleje hviler på et net (ikke vist), der dækker tværsnitsarealet på toppen af blander 1.

Varm procesgas, der forlader toplejet, strømmer i blandekamrene 16 og blandes med en kølegas som injiceres i kamrene fra en ringledning (ikke vist) ved blanderens periferi. Når gasserne strømmer i blandekamrene blandes og 5 homogeniseres disse som i et stort antal delstrømme i en tangentiel strømningsretning (vist ved pile 12) langs spiralskovlene 6 og i en radiær strømningsretning (vist ved pile 14) gennem huller 10 i spiralskovle 6. Herved blandes understrømmene påny hver gang en tangentiel delstrøm møder 10 en radiær delstrøm i blandekamrene 16. Efter den periodevise opdeling og sammenblanding af understrømmene er gasstrømmene, der når fordelingskammer 4, homogeniserede.
Den homogeniserede gas udledes fra kammer 4 til et bund-katalysatorleje under blander 1, om ønsket gennem et net 15 ved bunden af blanderen.

Claims (2)

1. Fremgangsmåde til blanding af en procesgas og en kølegas, hvor en eller flere strømme af kølegassen inji- 5 ceres i en eller flere strømme af procesgassen, kendetegnet ved at strømmen af den blandede gas bringes i en spiral-formig bevægelse i et cylindrisk blandekammer med et centralt fordelingskammer omgivet af et antal spiralskovle monteret på fordelingskammeret, hvor skovlene er forsynet 10 med huller, således at strømmen periodevis opdeles i et antal delstrømme med en radiær strømningsretning mod fordelingskammeret gennem hullerne i skovlene og et antal del-strømme med en tangentiel strømningsretning mod fordelingskammeret langs skovlene, og 15 delstrømmene samles i fordelingskammeret.
2. En statisk blander til anvendelse ved blanding af forskellige gasstrømme, omfattende indenfor en cylindrisk skal, 20 et centralt fordelingskammer, en horisontal ledeplade tilpasset tværsnitsarealet af et annulært kammer der er dannet mellem fordelingskammeret og skallen, hvor blandingskammeret er forsynet med et antal spiral-25 skovle, der er monteret på ledepladen og strækker sig fra fordelingskammeret til skallen, idet spiralskovlene er beregnet til at dele den tilledte gasblanding i et stort antal delstrømme mod det centrale fordelingskammer dels med en radiær retning gennem huller i skovlene og dels med en 30 tangentiel strømningsretning langs skovlene.
