Abstract

A fastener for a detachable utensil (6) of an ironing board (1) comprises a U-shaped part of the utensil which engages over the ironing board frame (2) with the board plate (3). A support plate (7) locates on the board covering (5), together with a clamp (9) which grips the frame (2) from behind, and a support part (8) connecting the two parts.
