Verfahren zur Herstellung von CyclohexanonoximProcess for the preparation of cyclohexanone oxime
Zusatz zur Patentanmeldung M 22563 IV b / 12 ο Addition to patent application M 22563 IV b / 12 ο
The subject of patent application M 22553 IVb / 12 o is a process for the production of cyclohexanone oxime, which consists in adding a mixture of nitrogen monoxide and chlorine, in which the nitrogen monoxide is present in large excess compared to the chlorine, on cyclohexane can under exposure. act and the bis (nitrosocyclohexane) which formed as the major product J is converted by heating in cyclohexanone oxime. in this method, the same 10 to 15 ° / 0 i-chloro-i-nitrosocyclohexane be obtained as a byproduct.
In a further development of the procedure of the patent application, M 22553 IVb / 12 ο it has now been found that the i-chloro-i-nitrosocyclohexane in very good Yields can also be converted into cyclohexanone oxime by catalytic hydrogenation. When Platinum oxide has proven itself as a catalyst for this hydrogenation. The hydrogenation can be carried out at normal pressure and take place at room temperature. The process according to the invention gives a clear reaction very good yields of cyclohexanone oxime. The hydrogenation of the i-chloro-i-nitrosocyclohexane the total yield of cyclohexanone oxime in the process of patent application M 22553 IV5 / 120 increased and that more economical.
Daß das i-Chlor-i-nitrosocyclohexan bei der erfindungsgemäßen katalytischen Hydrierung derartig glatt in Cyclohexanonoxim umgewandelt wird, war nicht vorauszusehen, nachdem es aus der USA.-Patentschrift 2 420 382 bekannt war, daß man beiThat i-chloro-i-nitrosocyclohexane is such in the catalytic hydrogenation according to the invention is converted smoothly into cyclohexanone oxime was not foreseen after it was made from the U.S. patent 2,420,382 was known to be at

J. Amer. Chem. Soc, Bd. 54, 1932, S. 1532). Es war daher überraschend, daß man bei der erfindungsgemäßen Reduktion von i-Chlori-nitrosocyclohexan in sehr hoher Ausbeute Cyclohexanonoxim erhält.the reduction of the formal analog i-chloro-i-nitrocyclohexans depending on the reaction conditions cyclohexylhydroxylamine hydrochloride (dissolved in 8o% yield) or Cyclohexanonoximhydrochlorid (at 75 ° / 0 yield) is obtained. So far, all that has been known of aliphatic nitroso hydrocarbons is that they give hydrazine derivatives, azoxy compounds or amines on reduction (cf. J. Amer. Chem. Soc, Vol. 54, 1932, p. 1532). It was therefore surprising that the reduction of i-chloronitrosocyclohexane according to the invention gives cyclohexanone oxime in a very high yield.
10,14 g = 0,069 Mol reines i-Chlor-i-nitrosocyclohexan werden in 30 g Essigsäureäthylester gelöst und in Gegenwart von 7Ö mg Plätinoxyd hydriert Γ Sobald nach etwa 45 Minuten bis einer Stunde die ursprünglich blaue Lösung farblos geworden ist — entsprechend einer Aufnahme von 0,07 Mol = 1,75 1 Wasserstoff—, wird die Hydrierung abgebrochen.10.14 g = 0.069 moles of pure i-chloro-i-nitrosocyclohexane are dissolved in 30 g of ethyl acetate and hydrogenated in the presence of 70 mg of platinum oxide Γ As soon as after about 45 minutes to an hour the originally blue solution has become colorless - accordingly an uptake of 0.07 mol = 1.75 1 hydrogen -, the hydrogenation is terminated.
Gesamtausbeute an getrocknetem Cyclohexanonoxim 6,17 g = 0,059 Mol = 86°/0 der Theorie.'The precipitated colorless cyclohexanone oxime hydrochloride (mp = 94 °) is filtered off and the mother liquor is evaporated to dryness. The remaining hydrochloride is combined with the filtered off, dissolved in a little dilute hydrochloric acid and the remainder of the catalyst is filtered off again. The filtrate is neutralized with 2 N Natron liquor. About 6 g of cyclohexanone oxime separate out, the. be sucked off. A further amount of oxime can be obtained from the mother liquor by repeatedly etherifying and distilling off the dried ether extracts. Total yield of dried cyclohexanone oxime 6.17 g = 0.059 mol = 86 ° / 0 of theory. '
F. = 86 bis 870 (in der Literatur angegeben F. = 88 bis 890).F. = 86 to 87 0 (stated in the literature F. = 88 to 89 0 ).
Außerdem erhält man ,a.iogUnveränderteschloriertesCyclohexan. Kp.10 = 35 'bis 5OÖ'.4.50 g of a mixture of i-chloro-i-nitrosocyclohexane and chlorinated cyclohexane, as obtained by the method of patent application M 22 553 IVb / 120, and which contains 2.40 g = 0.016 mol of I-chlorinitrosocyclohexane, are dissolved in 20 g of ethyl acetate and hydrogenated in the presence of platinum oxide at room temperature and normal pressure. After taking up 0.016 mol of hydrogen, the catalyst is filtered off, the solution is mixed with water, neutralized and extracted with ether.
