Electromagnetic relay with spring-loaded armature The magnetic
The force with which a relay picks up must always be during the entire: armature travel
be greater than the effective spring forces that hold the armature in its rest position
want. Because the magnetic tensile force is approximated as the pole spacing decreases
increases quadratically, it is in the zero position of the armature in relation to the
their counteracting spring force small, while at the end of the armature travel the spring force
significantly outweighs, provided that the spring characteristic is linear
runs. The pronouncing power of the relay is therefore with the use of springs
linear characteristic relatively very high. It can be significantly reduced
if the spring characteristic is the quadratic course of the magnetic force-displacement characteristic
of the relay adapts. To this end, according to the invention, actuated by the armature

An embodiment of this type is shown in Fig. Z of the drawing in
Connection with a polarized relay indicated schematically.
The winding W of the relay is arranged on a soft iron core K, to which the yokes J and 1 with the pole pieces Ql and Qz are attached on both sides. The latter protrude into the cut-outs of a double-T-shaped armature, which is pivotably mounted about an axis a running perpendicular to the plane of the drawing by known means (not shown further) and consists of an armature A permanently magnetized in the direction of the arrows with the pole pieces A, and A2 consists. The pole piece A1 carries a plate-shaped extension Ao to which the lower ends of the restraint springs F, and F2 are attached. B. circular, bent outwards and are supported with their ends on stationary counter bearings G1 and G2. In order to be able to adjust the armature precisely and easily in the illustrated zero position with a certain spring preload, it is advisable to make the counter-bearings sensitively adjustable, as indicated in FIG. This adjusting device consists of a rectangular curved loop made of ribbon-shaped spring steel. One end of this spring band rests with an inclined plane on the edge of the other end and can be adjusted more or less downwards by means of a stud screw penetrating the loop, whereby the end of the loop pressing on the spring F1 is accordingly upgraded to the right and the Spring preload is increased more or less. A corresponding adjustment option must also be provided for the counter bearing G2. The springs F1 and F2 are only fastened at their lower end to the plate A o and are bent in such a way that they extend from the fastening point in the de-energized state. bend away from plate A in a circle. In the exemplary embodiment, however, the springs F, '- and F2 are so strongly pretensioned by the counter bearings G1 and G2 that their lower ends lie against the side surfaces of the plates A up to the points x. In this zero position, the force resulting from the two springs on the armature is zero.
ergibt. If the relay is now excited by direct current in such a way that it is in the pole piece
Q, a north pole and a south pole in pole piece Q2, armature A becomes clockwise
deflected, the magnetic adjusting force P1 with decreasing air gaps approximately
grows square. In Fig. X a, the adjustment force P1 is dependent on the
Deflection f of the armature specified. With increasing deflection of anchor A or the
attached plate A, the effective length of the spring F2 decreases more and more,
until they only reach the end position of the armature indicated by dashed lines
Has length by which the spring FZ exceeds the length of the plate A. -The
Spring F1, on the other hand, has completely relaxed. The resultant P2 of both

registered. By appropriate shaping of the springs F1 and F2 and suitable length dimensions
it can be achieved without difficulty that the spring characteristic indicated by dashed lines
assumes the form of the magnetic force-displacement characteristic curve P1. The curves are mirror images,
because the spring force and the magnetic attraction force oppose each other.
The coordination must be made in such a way that the magnetic force P1 corresponds to the spring force
P2 always predominates somewhat, in such a way that the resulting standing force SK
