Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Sicherungseinrichtung für die Schließkante des - vorzugsweise elektromotorisch - angetriebenen Torblattes eines Tores oder dergleichen Gebäude- oder Durchfahrtverschlusses, insbesondere vertikal oder über Kopf bewegbares, ein- oder mehrteiliges Torblatt, mit einem an der Schließkante anzubringenden Torabschlußprofil in Gestalt eines elastischen Hohlprofiles, bevorzugt Gummihohlprofiles, das eine in Profillängsrichtung bei unverformtem Profil von einer Profilstirnseite zur anderen geradlinig durchgehende Hohlraumausbildung aufweist, die zumindest während der Schließbewegung des Torblattes von einem Lichtstrahl durchgriffen ist, der von einem Sender ausgehend einem Empfänger zugeleitet ist, welch letzterer bei Unterbrechung des Lichtstrahles durch Verformung des Profiles, Senderausfall oder dergleichen zumindest im Zuge dieser Torblattschließbewegung ein Signal zur Ab- bzw.
