Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a metal foil bundle, consisting of a winding sleeve, the inner diameter of which corresponds to the outer diameter of a sleeve receiver and lies in a range between 100 and 200 mm, and of a metal foil wound into a bundle with a thickness of 0.0045 to 0.060 mm corresponding to 4.5 to 60 /um, the outer diameter of the bundle being between 500 and 1,000 mm and a bundle width of 800 to 2,020 mm as well as a winding sleeve that can be used for this purpose.
Pipes, especially steel pipes with an inner diameter of 150 mm and a wall thickness of 6 mm, are usually used to wind up aluminum foil. Small quantities of less than 1000 kg can only be obtained from the foil manufacturer in exceptional cases, since foil production is a highly rationalized process.
After the cold-rolled strips have been processed into aluminum foil, they are wound up and subjected to an annealing treatment. For this purpose, the metal foil bundles are transported with appropriate sleeve pick-ups via various transport devices between shears, annealing furnace and shipping point.
Vibrationen in den unter Zugspannung stehenden Lagen der Folien und können bei denThe high speeds of the metal foil bundles that occur during winding and unwinding cause oscillations or vibrations in the layers of the foil that are under tension and can
Es ist bekannt, daß Folien dieser Zusammensetzung sehr niedrige Zugfestigkeits- und Dehnungswerte aufweisen.thin foils can easily lead to cracks, which may render the entire metal foil bundle unusable. The risk of cracking is particularly critical with aluminum foils made of pure aluminum with purity AN 99 to AN 99.5, as these are processed in the "soft" state. It is known that foils of this composition have very low tensile strength and elongation values.
The object of the present invention is to improve a metal foil bundle and in particular a winding sleeve therefor in such a way that even at high winding and unwinding speeds and with an increased number of running meters, foil tearing can be avoided.
The object is achieved according to the invention by the features specified in claim 1. It has been shown that by designing the winding sleeve as a hollow chamber shaft, vibrations can be avoided and the winding and unwinding seam can be reduced to such an extent that even with foils made of pure aluminum in the soft state, cracks no longer occur.
In the following, the invention is described in more detail using an embodiment.

In Figure 1, the winding sleeve according to the invention is shown as a hollow chamber shaft. Between the outer tube 1 and the inner tube 2 there is the hollow chamber 3, which is divided by several transverse walls 4a,b. At the front ends

In Figure 2, the winding sleeve according to the invention is shown enlarged as a partial cross section. Between the outer tube 1 and the inner tube 2, a transverse wall 4b and the annular
Flange part 6 can be seen. In a special embodiment, the outer tube 1 can be designed with a graduated wall thickness, with the thin end being arranged towards the front side and the thicker middle part being arranged between the transverse walls 4a, 4b.
In the preferred embodiment according to Figure 2, the stepped outer wall 1 in the middle area I is approximately 2 x thicker than the thickness of the inner tube 2. This has the advantage that the deflection of the outer shaft due to the weight of the metal foil bundle is reduced. In addition, the dynamic rigidity when winding and unwinding the foil is improved.
Figure 3 shows the metal foil bundle according to the invention, consisting of a winding sleeve with outer tube 1 and inner tube 2. The aluminum foil 7 is arranged on the outer tube 1 in a plurality of thin layers.
As an example, for a suitable outer diameter of 300 mm, sleeve spacing H = 75 - 120 mm is selected. For a given circumferential speed, the speeds can be halved compared to an outer diameter of 150 mm.
Gegenüber dem bisherigen Stand der Technik ergeben sich folgende Unterschiede:Compared to the current state of the art, the following differences arise:
1. Der Außendurchmesser der Aufwickelhülse 1 ist vergrößert worden.1. The outer diameter of the take-up core 1 has been increased.
At a constant speed (compared to the previous procedure), the speed on the outer circumference of the sleeve is halved.
The hollow chamber shaft reduces the tendency to vibrations and oscillations during winding and unwinding.
The braking required when changing rolls can be shortened because the tensile forces occurring in the film are kept low.
The inner diameter of the winding core is kept constant, so that the previously used core holders can continue to be used.
Due to the low eccentricity, the tensile forces occurring in the films during processing can be kept to a minimum. No chipping peaks occur during start-up and shut-down.
Die Radius-Abweichung ist kleiner als 0,1 mm.It is advantageous if the intermediate partition walls are placed on a screwed-in fitting of the outer tube and are shrunk into the inner tube. This, together with the other design features of the radial hollow chamber, results in very good static concentricity of the winding sleeve according to the invention. Previously, the concentricity after the first annealing of the winding sleeve was not sufficient, as the deviation in the radius was more than 0.5 mm. Now the hollow chamber design according to the invention shows very good thermal stability after annealing. The radius deviation is less than 0.1 mm.
