BeschreibungDescription
Gebläse für ein Kehr- oder Saugfahrzeug.Blower for a sweeper or vacuum vehicle.
The invention relates to a blower for a sweeper or suction vehicle, with a housing, a blower wheel and a drive for the blower wheel.
Blowers for sweepers or vacuum cleaners are well known. A sweeper is a standard street sweeper that works either with wet dust removal or with dry dust removal. The sweeper that works with wet dust removal carries a water tank and binds the dust that is created when sweeping and collecting the rubbish by spraying the sweeping surface with water. The disadvantage of such a 'wet sweeper' is essentially that it can no longer be used when the outside temperature is around freezing point because of the risk of the sweeping surface icing over. A sweeper that works with dry dust removal has a compact dry filter for exhaust air dust removal instead of a water tank. With such a 'dry sweeper', the dust that is stirred up in the area of the broom is sucked away by additional suction devices and also fed to the dry filter. In this context, a vacuum vehicle is understood to mean, for example, a street sweeper converted into a leaf vacuum, which can be used to vacuum up the leaves on streets and sidewalks in the autumn.
This blower, together with the driven impeller, provides the necessary suction pressure to blow the rubbish and the resulting dust into a
In connection with the vehicles explained above, which are to be understood below under the term 'municipal vehicle ' , it was considered a serious disadvantage that the blowers for each vehicle type - depending on wet or dry dust removal - have significantly different designs due to the different installation conditions in the bodies of the municipal vehicles. In practice, this leads to two different blowers, although their performance parameters are identical. This is equally unsatisfactory for the manufacturers of municipal vehicles and for cities and municipalities as users, since the obligation to keep and install different blowers increases the price of the bodies of the municipal vehicle. While a blower for a wet sweeper must have its own suction device for connection to a suction channel, a dry sweeper at least requires a structural change to this suction device, since the blower is connected to the clean air side of a dry filter, which has its own suction device.
The object of the present invention was to design a blower of the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that it can be used at low cost both on a municipal vehicle operating with wet dust extraction and on a municipal vehicle operating with dry dust extraction.
The solution to this problem according to the invention consists in a blower for a sweeper or suction vehicle (also abbreviated to: municipal vehicle) with a housing, a blower wheel, a drive for the blower wheel, and with an intake port for connection to a suction channel, in which the housing is designed in two parts, in which a first housing part accommodates the blower wheel, in which a second housing part is formed by the suction-side front wall of the housing and in which both housing parts have means for mutual detachable connection.
Durch die zweigeteilte Ausbildung des Gebläsegehäuses wird ein modularer Aufbau des Gebläses erreicht, mit dem durch Kombination von nur drei Gebläsemodulen auf einfache, kostengünstigeThe two-part design of the blower housing results in a modular design of the blower, which can be combined with just three blower modules in a simple, cost-effective way.
In this way, a blower for a municipal vehicle with wet dust extraction and dry dust extraction is available. The part of the housing that is open on the suction side with the blower wheel and the drive for the blower wheel forms blower module I, the part formed by the suction-side front wall of the housing forms blower module II, and the dry filter with its clean air side front wall and its own suction device forms blower module III. The separating surfaces of the modules and the connection dimensions for the suction device are coordinated in such a way that modules I, II and III can be assembled with the means for mutually detachable connection by combining either modules I and II or modules I and III to form a blower for a wet dust extraction or a blower-filter unit for a dry dust extraction municipal vehicle. Another great advantage of this inventive solution is that the modular design of the blower enables existing sweeping or vacuum vehicles to be easily converted or retrofitted from wet to dry dust extraction.
Advantageous further developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.
A first further development consists in the fact that the suction-side front wall is firmly connected to an intake nozzle for connection to a suction channel.
Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the suction-side front wall is formed by the clean-air-side front wall of a filter housing, which also has the intake port.
Somit kann das am FiI-From the use of dry sweepers with a dry filter, it is known as a disadvantage that the blower connected to the clean air side of the dry filter obstructs access to the dry filter or to the filter elements arranged therein, which is why it often has to be unscrewed together with the clean air side filter cover for maintenance work. For this purpose, the invention preferably provides that the housing can be pivoted about a pivot axis fixed to the filter. This means that the filter element connected to the filter

The blower attached to the housing can be swivelled 90° to the side or upwards after loosening the quick-release fasteners, for example, and thus exposes the interior of the dry filter, which makes maintenance or replacing the filter elements easier and thus significantly reduces the time required for maintenance.
A further advantageous development of the invention is that the part of the housing formed by the suction-side front wall (blower module II) has a blower base. This blower base acts as a stand for mounting a blower for a wet sweeper formed from modules I and II.
In the following, a preferred embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to a drawing.

The means 10 for detachable connection to another housing part can be arranged in any desired manner over the housing flange 11 and can be designed, for example, as quick-release fasteners or screws.
Auf der Druckseite 21 diesesFig. 3 shows an axial section through the second part of the blower housing 1 formed by the suction-side end wall 5, which forms a blower module II. On the pressure side 21 of this
On the housing part, the suction-side front wall 5, there are complementary means (not shown) for fastening this front wall 5 to the housing part 6 of the blower housing 1. The front wall 5 has an inlet nozzle 13 and an intake nozzle 4 (intake device) with an intake opening 15.
Fig. 4 shows the schematic representation of a partial axial section through a filter housing 7, the clean air side end wall 5a of which, apart from the intake port 4, is largely designed in the same way as the suction side end wall 5 according to Fig. 3. The pressure side 22 of the end wall 5a also has an inlet nozzle 13 and complementary (not shown) means for connecting to the housing part 6 or the blower module I according to Fig. 1. The filter housing 7 with the clean air side end wall 5a, the inlet nozzle 13, the intake port 4a and the connecting means forms a blower module III. The dust-containing air is sucked through the intake opening 15a of an intake nozzle 4a from a suction channel (not shown here) into the filter housing 7, where it is filtered by filter elements 14 before it is cleaned from the inlet nozzle 13 and directed to the blower wheel 2 and from there into the exhaust air channel. The filter housing 7 stands on a support structure 16, which in turn is mounted on the chassis of the sweeper or vacuum vehicle. The filter housing 7 has a fine dust collection chamber 17 and a conveyor screw 18 below the filter elements 14, with which the fine dust collected in the fine dust collection chamber 17 can be removed. This enables fractional disposal of the coarse waste that remains in the waste container (not shown) of the sweeper or vacuum vehicle and of the fine dust, which is particularly advantageous because the fine dust may be considered hazardous waste and its separate treatment from the waste significantly reduces the amount of waste that has to be treated as hazardous waste.
Der Unterschied zu dem Gebläsemodul II gemäß Fig. 3 besteht darin, daß die Stirnwand 5 gemäß Fig. 5Fig. 5 shows an axial section, largely identical to Fig. 3, through the part of the blower housing formed by the suction-side front wall 5, which in this configuration forms a blower module Ha. The difference to the blower module II according to Fig. 3 is that the front wall 5 according to Fig. 5
einen Gebläsefuß 9 aufweist, der eine Montage eines aus den Gebläsemodulen I und Ha zusammengesetzten Gebläses auf einem Fahrzeugchassis ermöglicht.has a fan base 9 which enables a fan composed of the fan modules I and Ha to be mounted on a vehicle chassis.
Fig. 6 shows a schematic axial section through such a blower, consisting of the blower modules I and Ha. This blower can be used on wet sweepers, for example.
Ha gemäß den Fig. 3, 5 und 6.Fig. 7 shows a schematic representation of a partial axial section through a blower dry filter unit, which consists of the dry filter housing 7, the clean air side end wall 5a of the dry filter with the inlet nozzle 13 and the blower module I. The clean air side end wall 5a with inlet nozzle 13 and blower module I can be pivoted together about a filter-fixed pivot axis 8 in the direction of arrow 19, so that the filter elements 14 are easily accessible in the folded-away position. The end wall 5a with the inlet nozzle 13 and the blower module I thus form a foldable filter cover that can be locked to the dry filter housing 7 and forms a structural unit with the dry filter. The intake opening 15a of the dry filter has the same connection dimensions as the intake opening 15 of the blower modules II or Ha according to Fig. 3, 5 and 6.
Fig. 8 shows a schematic representation of two preferred combination options of the blower parts to form a blower for a wet sweeper according to Fig. 6, or to form a blower-dry filter unit for a dry sweeper according to Fig. 1. This representation makes the modular structure of the blower clear. The blower module I consists of the first housing part 6 with the blower wheel 2 and the drive 3 as well as the suction-side housing flange 11, as shown in Fig. 1a. This blower module I can alternatively be combined either with the dry filter housing 7 and its clean air-side front wall 5a with the inlet nozzle 13, which together form a blower module III according to Fig. 4, to form the blower-filter unit, or with the blower module Ha according to Fig. 5 to form a blower unit for a wet sweeper.
