Teilchenstrahldüse
5Particle beam nozzle
5
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Teilchenstrahldüse zur Entfernung von Oberflächenschichten von bestückten elektronischen Baugruppen. The invention relates to a particle beam nozzle for removing surface layers from assembled electronic assemblies.
For example, during repair work it is necessary to partially remove the paint coating from electronic printed circuit boards (PCBs). The use of jet nozzles is already known for this purpose. The disadvantage of this, however, is that the particles in the feed hose are charged and transfer electrical charge to the PCBs. This can lead to peak voltages of around 4 kV. Such peak voltages can then destroy sensitive electronic components.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, ein Verfahren zum Entfernen von Oberflächenschichten zu entwickeln, das keine schädlichen Auflasdungen bewirkt. The object of the invention is to develop a method for removing surface layers that does not cause harmful charges.
Gemäß der Erfindung wird diese Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß am Düsenaustritt eine Vorrichtung zur elektrischen Entladung der Teilchen vorgesehen ist, so daß auf die Baugruppe eben keine unzulässigen Spitzenspannungen übertragen werden.According to the invention, this object is achieved in that a device for electrically discharging the particles is provided at the nozzle outlet, so that no inadmissible peak voltages are transmitted to the assembly.
Diese Abladung des Teilchenstrahls erfolgt dabei zweckmäßigerweise durch die Beförderung dieses Strahls durch ein geerdetes Drahtgeflecht, Maschengewebe oder Gitter. This discharge of the particle beam is conveniently carried out by transporting this beam through a grounded wire mesh, mesh or grid.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt und wird im folgenden näher erläutert. 35An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and is explained in more detail below. 35
Wenn von einer elektronischen Baugruppe 1 die Leiterplattenlackierung entfernt werden soll, beispielsweise dann, wennIf the circuit board coating is to be removed from an electronic assembly 1, for example if

If the electronic components, including the electronic component 7, are to be replaced, this can be done by spraying a particle beam 2 onto the painted surface using compressed air or another conveying medium. To do this, the particles are fed through a feed hose 4, then enter a nozzle 3 and are atomized by it. However, the particles can charge up to high electrical voltages during this transport without any further measures and can then transfer these voltages to the assembly 1 in such a way that sensitive electronic components can be destroyed there. Therefore, according to the invention, harmful voltages are dissipated by providing a grounded wire mesh 5 in the area of the particle beam. This wire mesh, which can also consist of several bundles, for example, is then connected to ground via grounding lines, of which only the grounding line 6 is shown in the illustration. Furthermore, it is practical that the supply hose 4 is also provided with a wire mesh 8 so that voltage-0 dissipation is also ensured here.
Anstatt des Drahtgeflechtes 5 wäre es jedoch auch möglich, Maschengewebe oder Gitter zu verwenden.Instead of the wire mesh 5, it would also be possible to use mesh fabric or grid.
