ElektrogitarreElectric guitar

Datum / Date 17.07.1992/ti.Date / Date 17.07.1992/ti.

The invention relates to a solid body electric guitar, with a neck attached to a solid body by means of screws and a magnetic coil for sound pickup.

It is common and usual to attach the neck of solid-body electric guitars to the solid body using screws. The constant pressure is intended to produce a distinctive transient response from the strings and a certain depth in the sound. However, the disadvantage of these electric guitars is that it is not possible to simulate the sound of an acoustic guitar, which requires a stronger emphasis on the attack. It is also common for the well-known electric guitars to set the magnetic coils used for sound pickup to the characteristics of high-pass, wide-band and low-pass by changing the magnetic polarity and the type of wire winding.

The object of the invention is to design a solid-body electric guitar in such a way that an acoustic guitar can be simulated by amplifying the transient impulse and at the same time the transmission behavior is improved.

Vorteilhafte Ausge-According to the invention, the object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments

Embodiments of the invention are described in the dependent claims.

According to the invention, it is possible to emphasize the attack much more strongly than with known solid-body electric guitars. The metal spacer plate inserted between the body and neck increases the strength of the transient impulse many times over, which allows the impulse behavior of an acoustic guitar to be simulated. The special design of the magnetic coil also makes it possible to exclude a high-pass characteristic, which is necessary to generate the resonance typical of acoustic guitars with the transmission of bass frequencies in the sound. The position and characteristics of the magnetic coil are adapted to the design of the electric guitar. For fretted guitar-like instruments, a magnetic coil with a broadband characteristic is preferably used. For fretted violin-like instruments, on the other hand, magnetic coils with a low-pass characteristic are used. For fretted instruments, the magnetic coil is also preferably positioned at a position of 1/4.6 of the scale length, whereas for fretless instruments it is positioned at a position of 1/6.7. While the insertion of the metal spacer plate between the body and the screwed-on neck amplifies the transient impulse and thus improves the impulse behavior, the optimized arrangement of the magnetic coil enables an improvement in the transmission behavior.

Es zeigtThe invention is explained in more detail below using the example of the embodiments shown in the drawings. It shows
