Description
M 2444/V/wiM 2444/V/wi
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Behälter der im Oberbegriff- des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Art.The invention relates to a container of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1.
Containers with at least three, especially four wall sections arranged at right angles to one another are known in a wide variety of designs, each of which depends on the specific purpose. Such containers can be designed as transport containers or as storage containers. While the first type of container, namely transport containers, has special requirements for torsional rigidity on all sides, storage containers usually have to meet other requirements, especially when they are used to store goods outdoors. Composters are a special form of such storage containers. These storage containers are characterized by the fact that they do not have a base section, because the goods collected in them should be in contact with bacteria from the soil. Composters are therefore generally set up at a predetermined location on a garden plot, directly on the ground. Composters are filled with goods to be composted from the top, i.e. via the open lid. In order to remove the humus produced by composting, it is known to provide a flap or a door in the lower area of one of the wall sections.
Zur Montage des Komposters aus den vorgefertigten Wandteilen werden herkömmlicherweise separateContainers are used as composters, which are assembled on site from prefabricated wall parts with as few manual steps as possible. To assemble the composter from the prefabricated wall parts, separate
Connecting elements are used, in particular connecting elements with screws and nuts. The construction of such containers used as composters is therefore relatively complex, and it must also be taken into account that the construction is usually carried out by laymen. In addition, the stability of conventional connections leaves much to be desired, especially with regard to the required dimensional stability and torsional rigidity of the container. Another disadvantage of conventional composters is that although appropriate flaps or doors are provided for removing the humus produced during the composting process, these parts do not allow easy access to the interior of the composter, in particular no access that ensures complete emptying without further ado. But filling conventional composters is also not easy. For this purpose, the container lid is usually hinged, which means that the lid must be kept open. If it is not held but opened completely, there is a risk that its hinge bearings will break. Another problem with hinged composting lids is that rainwater penetrates into the interior of the composter, increasing the humidity there to an undesirable degree.
The object of the present invention is to design a container of the type mentioned at the beginning that is particularly easy to assemble and stable, and above all at least essentially torsion-resistant. In addition, a container is to be created that can be manufactured from a few different parts using a modular principle. In addition, a universal container is to be created, particularly for storing goods.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1. Advantageous further developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.
Die Erfindung schafft also einen Behälter, dessen Verbindungszo-The invention thus creates a container whose connecting zones

The invention also creates a container whose wall part connecting elements are formed as one piece with the wall parts. This drastically reduces the number of individual parts from which the container must be assembled. In the case of the container according to the invention, the number of different components is basically limited to two, namely identically formed wall parts with integrated connecting elements and the lid. One advantage of the small number of individual parts allows for easy storage of the individual container parts during production and distribution, whereby the wall parts can be stacked on top of one another, as can the lid parts.
A particularly simple assembly of the container from the identically designed wall parts is ensured by the fact that the connecting elements, which are made in one piece with the wall parts, allow the wall parts to be pushed together vertically. This type of assembly also makes it easier for laypeople on site, namely in the garden, to easily assemble the container used as a composter without the additional alignment and screwing work that is required for conventional composters.
Dieses ausgewählte Wandteil ist zudem vorzugsweise mit einerA particularly advantageous feature of using the container according to the invention as a composter is that the wall parts remain vertically movable even after they have been properly assembled into the container. This means that the humus can be discharged in an extremely simple manner by pushing one of the wall parts upwards by the amount required for discharge. It is also advantageous that the humus that has formed in the lower part of the composter is accessible across the full width of the raised wall part. This selected wall part is also preferably provided with a
Griffleiste ausgebildet.Handle bar designed.
In principle, the container according to the invention is also suitable as a universal storage container, whereby it may only be necessary to mount a base part. For this purpose, fastening devices, for example in the form of screw holes, are advantageously formed on the identically designed wall parts.
According to the invention, the side edges of each wall part are designed differently in order to ensure the universality of the wall parts, namely their ability to be combined with identical wall parts to form the container. For this purpose, the connecting elements, which are designed in one piece with the wall parts, consist of differently designed coupling elements, with one type of coupling element being designed on one side edge of the wall part and the other type of coupling element being designed on the other side edge of the wall part.
Komposters wird dadurch gewährleistet, daß das Stabfüh-A special problem with composters is that they are naturally set up on more or less uneven garden soil, which is why a certain flexibility of the composter or a play of the wall parts in the vertical and horizontal direction is desired, although the right angles of the composter should essentially be maintained, not only for reasons of stability, but also to ensure that the wall part intended for humus discharge can be moved freely in the vertical direction. For this purpose, the invention provides specially designed connecting element coupling elements. It is preferred that one coupling element be designed as a vertically running rod, especially a round rod, and the other coupling element be designed as a rod guide part. The coupling elements thus engage with one another in the manner of a pin-claw coupling. The vertical displacement of the wall parts against one another even when the container or composter is not set up on a level surface is ensured by the rod guide
Komposters, weshalb ein Spiel senkrecht zu den Wandteilflächen im wesentlichen ausgeschlossen ist.the support part does not completely enclose the rod part, and that play in the coupling elements is permitted in the lateral direction, while maintaining sufficient overall stability of the container or composter, which is why play perpendicular to the wall part surfaces is essentially excluded.
To ensure tilt-free displacement in the vertical direction, the rod guide part of the coupling elements is only designed over a limited length, in particular not over the entire length of the rod-shaped coupling element.
Reinforcing ribs contribute to the stability of the container according to the invention, which are optionally provided to run horizontally and/or vertically. Vertically running support ribs are preferred on the inside, while on the outside the support ribs, preferably in pairs, run across the entire width of each wall part and are connected to the coupling elements at the edges of the wall part to increase the stability of the coupling elements.
A particularly advantageous feature of the invention is the sliding mounting of the lid on the container, which meets the needs of composting practice, since the lid does not fall down or crash, as is the case with conventional composters. The composter lid is preferably made in two parts, with one part being firmly connected to the wall parts, while the other part is slidably mounted on two opposing wall parts. It is also advantageous for composting purposes that the lid is provided with a protruding edge all around, which prevents unwanted rainwater from entering the composter. In order to avoid unnecessary stress on the lid from rainwater and/or snow, the lid is preferably beveled like a roof.
Die mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Behälter erreichbaren VorteileThe advantages achievable with the container according to the invention
The container can be easily assembled by laymen without the use of tools. The container is largely torsion-resistant, but to a limited extent adaptable to unevenness in the installation location. The connecting elements formed integrally with the wall parts allow the wall parts to be moved vertically at any time, even if the container is installed on an uneven surface. Finally, the lid of the container according to the invention ensures a tight seal for the benefit of the goods stored in the container.
Weitere durch die Erfindung erzielbare Vorteile gehen aus einem nachfolgend beschriebenen bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung hervor, das in den Zeichnungen dargestellt ist; in dieser zeigen:Further advantages that can be achieved by the invention will become apparent from a preferred embodiment of the invention described below, which is illustrated in the drawings, in which:

The container shown in Fig. 1 is designed as a composter and consists of four wall parts 1 to 4 arranged at right angles to one another, as shown in Fig. 2, and a lid 5. The wall parts 1 to 4 are designed as identical components, are rectangular in shape and essentially flat.
Am Beispiel des Wandteils 2 von Fig. 2 wird deutlich, daß jedes Wandteil einen ebenen Seitenkantenbereich 6 sowie einen diesemThe example of the wall part 2 of Fig. 2 shows that each wall part has a flat side edge area 6 and a
The curved design of the edge region 7 is done for optical reasons (rounded vertical edge regions of the container) but above all for stability reasons. An essential aspect of the invention is that the connecting elements, via which the identical wall parts 1 to 4 are assembled to form the container, are located outside the vertical container edge regions, i.e. within the container side walls.
The wall parts are preferably made of a weather-resistant plastic, and the connecting elements are manufactured in one piece as a component of the same injection-molded part as the wall parts 1 to 4. In order to be able to assemble the identical wall parts 1 to 4 as intended to form a rectangular container, it is necessary that each of the two side edges of a wall part comprises differently designed connecting elements which work together in a complementary manner when the container is assembled. The connecting or coupling elements are further designed according to the invention in such a way that the container is assembled by pushing the wall parts together vertically.
This consists of a rod 10 integrally connected to one side edge and a rod guide part 11 integrally formed on the other side edge of the wall part. The rod 10 is enclosed by the rod guide part 11 in a bushing-like manner, whereby it is essential that the rod guide part
Während der teilzylindrische Abschnitt 12 zentral an der entsprechenden Wandteilseitenkante ausgebildet ist, befindet sich der mit diesem Abschnitt 12II is not a closed and continuous bushing, but an organ that consists of a partial cylinder 12 formed centrally on the corresponding side edge and a support section 13 opposite it, essentially flat and set back from the side edge. While the partially cylindrical section 12 is formed centrally on the corresponding wall part side edge, the support section 12
In other words, sections 12 and 13 are arranged offset from one another in the axial direction so that sections 12 and 13 are not directly opposite one another at any point, which on the one hand has the advantage of saving material and on the other hand has the advantage of reduced friction in the guide of rod 11, whereby wall parts 1 to 4 can be moved relative to one another with relatively little effort.
Außerdem erlaubt dieses Spiel der beiden komplementär zusammenwirkenden Kopplungsorgane des Verbindungselements denFig. 4 shows a top view of a corner area of the assembled container. It is clear that the rod guide sections 12 and 13, which represent the rod guide part 11 of the two coupling elements, are together formed approximately U-shaped in top view, with the base 14 of this structure, which is U-shaped in top view, being connected to the corresponding wall part side edge. The rod 10 of the adjacent wall part engages in the U-shaped structure with the legs 12 and 13, which is formed there along the wall part side edge, and has a substantially round cross section. The rod 10 is held in the U-shaped structure 12 and 13 of the rod guide part 11, which is U-shaped when viewed from above, by the bent, extended end 15 of the leg 12, which extends to the outer surface of the corresponding adjacent wall part when the rod 10 is inserted into the U-shaped structure 12, 13. In the direction of the inside of the container, the rod 10 is guided by the leg or the support section 13, and relatively free of play. This is achieved by the fact that the clear width of the two U-legs 12 and 13 corresponds approximately to the thickness of the rod 11 in this direction. In order to allow a certain degree of displacement of the adjacent wall parts without endangering the rectangularity of the container, a clearance is provided between the base 14 of the U-shaped structure 12, 13 in plan view and the opposite end face of the rod 10. In addition, this clearance of the two complementary coupling elements of the connecting element allows the
Assembling the container, where a certain amount of tilting of the wall sections 1 to 4 relative to each other cannot be completely avoided when the wall sections are pushed together. Finally, this play allows the container to be adapted to an uneven floor, as is common in garden areas, and the wall sections can be moved relative to each other at any time.
When the container is used as a composter, the inventive design of the wall parts to be movable relative to one another means that it is not necessary to attach an additional removal opening and removal flap or removal door to one of the wall parts, since one of these wall parts, which is preferably provided with a handle bar, can be easily pushed upwards for the purpose of unloading humus, as shown in Fig. 2 using wall part 1, which is pushed up approximately halfway for the removal of the material.
In the container shown in Figs. 1 to 3, the rod-shaped coupling element 10 is formed on the bent side edge 7 of each wall part 1 to 4.
To increase the stability of the container according to the invention, support ribs 20 and 21 are provided, of which the support ribs 20 on the outside and the support ribs 21 on the inside are integrally formed with the respective wall part. The internal support ribs 21 run in a vertical direction and are at a substantially equal distance from one another. The external support ribs 20 are combined in pairs and run horizontally across the entire width of each wall part 1 to 4. As is particularly clear from Fig. 3, the lateral support ribs 20 extend to the central coupling member 12 of the connecting element, and the support ribs 20 are firmly connected to the member 12 in order to increase its stability. In addition, the support ribs 20 form impact protection for the members 12 because they have the same extension depth as the member 12.
In addition, holes 30 and 31 are formed on the upper and lower edges of each wall part 1 to 4, which allow several containers of the type shown to be connected to one another. Alternatively, holes 30 and 31 are suitable for fastening a fixed base part (not shown) and/or a fixed lid part (also not shown).
The lid 5 of the container is made of two parts. The lid part 41 has a U-shaped, downwardly protruding web 42, which is set so far inward that the lid 41 can be pushed onto the upper edge of the container in a press fit. The other lid part 40, in the example shown one half of the lid, is designed as a sliding part. For this purpose, the lid part 40 has two lateral webs 43, which are spaced far enough apart that the lid part 40 can be moved with respect to the second lid part 41. In addition, the movable lid part 40 has horizontal sliding surfaces adjoining the webs 43 inwards, which can run onto corresponding sliding surfaces of the other lid part. Finally, the sliding lid part 40 has a handle 44.
The two cover parts 40 and 41 are designed as profile parts with roof slopes 45, 46 and 47 to ensure that rainwater drains away and that snow slides off.
As can be seen from Fig. 1, the two cover parts 40 and 41 with their outer edges extensively span the upper edges of the wall parts 1 to 4, so that the penetration of rainwater into the composter is reliably prevented.
