Die Zielfernrohrmontage besteht aus einer nicht dargestellten, in die Waffe eingearbeiteten oder an der Waffe angebrachten Basis und einem entsprechenden Verriegelungselement sowie einer an einem Zielfernrohr 1 mit Montageschiene 2 angebrachten Aufnahmeschiene 3. In der Aufnahmeschiene 3 ist das Befestigungsteil 4 und das Verriegelungsteil 5 angebracht. Diese Aufnahmeschiene 3 weist zwei oder mehrere Freimachungen 6 auf, in die die Klemmstücke 7 mittels einer Schraube 8 in der Höhe anziehbar sind. Die Klemmstücke 7 werden mit ihrer Prismenausnehmung 9 über die Montageschiene 2 des Zielfernrohrs 1 geschoben. Die Aufnahmeschiene 3 wird mittels der Schrauben 8 über die Klemmstücke 7 an die Montageschiene 2 des Zielfernrohrs 1 angeschraubt.
