The invention relates to a room-delimiting ceiling. Such ceilings are designed as intermediate ceilings or as suspended ceilings. When designed as an intermediate ceiling, this ceiling can be attached directly to the structurally existing ceiling, for example via battens. When designed as a suspended ceiling, such a ceiling has a significantly greater distance from the structurally existing ceiling than the intermediate ceiling.
For room-delimiting ceilings, it is known to form the bottom layer facing the room as a layer of plaster. These layers of plaster can be applied to plasterboard, wood fiber insulation boards or wood wool lightweight construction boards. Reed mats or expanded metal ceilings are also known as plaster supports.
There are also plasters known that have relatively favorable sound-absorbing properties,
35In connection with the creation of indirectly lit rooms, ceiling surfaces are known that consist of a plaster layer that strongly reflects light rays. 35

The invention is based on the task of specifying a room-delimiting ceiling that can be used optimally as a cooling or heating element, which also has very good sound-absorbing properties, which is appealing in its appearance, so that it is equally suitable for both living spaces and offices, and which can also be used in indirectly lit rooms,
This invention is given in a room-delimiting ceiling of the type mentioned at the beginning by the features of the main claim which work together in combination. The ceiling according to the invention thus has a sound-absorbing carrier plate, which is in particular a plasterboard or mineral fiber board, on which a pipe system with a cooling or heating medium is attached. The pipe system consists in particular of pipe mats which contain plastic pipes of around 2 mm thickness. Depending on whether a cooling or heating liquid is pumped through this pipe system, the pipe system radiates cold or heat. The pipe system is also embedded in and covered by a layer of plaster which has a high thermal conductivity. As a result, the cold or heat radiating from the pipe system is well dissipated and released into the room. This plaster layer contains in particular mineral-bound, expanded silicate rock and is applied in a thickness of preferably 5 mm to 7 mm. The plaster layer can also strongly reflect the incident light rays. In order not to disturb this reflective effect, the surface of the plaster layer is designed to be seamless.
A room-delimiting ceiling designed in this way has a high cooling or heating effect, a high sound absorption and at least 85 percent remission effect with regard to incident light rays. In addition, the visual impression is not disturbed by any joints. Despite everything, this ceiling proves to be a very economical ceiling in view of its many advantages.

In order to ensure that this remission value is not impaired, the plaster layer 20 is designed to be seamless.
The suspended ceiling 10,1 shown in Fig. 2 corresponds to the ceiling 10 shown in Fig. 1 with the difference that the plasterboard panels used as the top material layer are attached to a batten 26, which in turn is attached directly to the concrete ceiling 14.
