Derartige Koffer sind sowohl als Schalenkoffer aus Kunststoff als auch als Weichkoffer aus textlien Materialien, Leder oder Kunstleder bekannt. Die Kofferteile werden regelmäßig im aufgeklappten Zustand des Koffers bepackt, so daß unter Umständen ein bepacktes Kofferteil um 180· auf das andere Kofferteil zum Schließen des Koffers geschwenkt werden muß. Für diese Schwenkbewegung, aber auch für die Festlegung des Packinhalts des Koffers während dessen Transports sind die Kofferteile üblicherweise mit Halteriemen versehen, die streifenförmig über die gepackte Kleidung gespannt werden und dabei zwei zueinander parallele Streifen oder ein Kreuz bilden. Die Festlegung des Packinhalts mittels Riemen ist für größere Bekleidungsstücke geeignet, ver sagt aber bei der Festlegung kleinerer Packstücke. Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Koffer der eingangs erwähnten Art so auszubilden, daß eine einfach zu bedienende Halteeinrichcung realisiert ist, mit der auch kleinere Gepäckstücke an ihrem Ort gehalten werden können.
