Diese Phasendifferenz wird aber im allgemeinen gewissen Schwankungen unterworfen sein, weil beispielsweise die den Strom liefernde Energiequelle irgendwelchen äußeren Einflüssen, z.B. Schwankungen der Spannung und Frequenz eines Speisenetzes, unterworfen ist. Damit nun die Messung richtig ausfällt, muß die Phase innerhalb der Meßperiode fortgesetzt durch Nachregelung korrigiert werden.
