The invention relates to a device for separating contaminants and reusable acceptable materials, in particular usable fibrous materials, from liquids containing solids. The device according to the invention is used in particular for sorting or separating fibrous material suspensions that contain waste paper.
In weiteren Sortierstufen folgen Vertikalsortierer. It is known that the sorting of fiber suspensions containing waste paper is usually carried out in multi-stage sorting or separation processes. The first sorting stage is generally the pulper, followed by a secondary pulper or coarse sorter in the second sorting stage. Vertical sorters follow in further sorting stages.
Devices are already known that work according to the sieve sorting method in order to separate and separate the impurities that are not suitable for further use from the usable fibers contained in a suspension. In sieve sorting, the impurities are separated from the usable fibers by their different sizes. A problem with the way such devices work arises directly from the working method. The earlier the stage of the processing process, the greater the impurities and the larger the number of un-fibered agglomerates of usable fibers, so-called fiber bundles or specks. A disadvantage of pure sieve sorting methods is that the sorting device cannot make a clear separation between impurities and dissolved agglomerates of usable fibers, so-called specks, so that at the end of the sorting process there is a mixture of impurities and acceptable materials. This leads to high losses of usable fibers.
In order to separate impurities from acceptable materials from suspensions according to the screening principle, secondary pulpers, vibration sorters, vertical and horizontal pressure sorters and pressureless centrifugal sorters are currently in use in the pulp and paper industry.
Unter Druck betriebene Sortierer oder Sekundärpulper habenPressure operated screens or secondary pulpers have
Spuckstoff. Da diese Sortiererthe disadvantage of a relatively high loss of good fibres in the overflow, the so-called rejects. Since these sorters

von Störstoffen unterscheiden können, scheiden sie einenfrom contaminants, they secrete a

aus. Zusätzlich verursacht die Betriebsweise unter DruckIn addition, the operation under pressure causes
einen weiteren Gutfaserverlust bereits vereinzelter Fasern, da sich der Druck nach allen Seiten hin gleichmäßig ausbreitet und somit immer auch ein Teil der brauchbaren Fasersuspension zum Spuckstoffauslaß oder den Spuckstoffauslassen des Sortierers gelangt, die mit dem Grobstoffzulauf kommunizieren.a further loss of good fibres of already isolated fibres, since the pressure spreads evenly in all directions and thus a part of the usable fibre suspension always reaches the reject outlet or the reject outlets of the sorter, which communicate with the coarse material inlet.
In the known devices in which the good fiber agglomerates are broken up, i.e. deflaking, it is disadvantageous that the deflaking is carried out by the same rotor that is used to keep a sorting plate free. The high energy density in the material housing of these secondary pulpers leads to an undesirable shredding of impurities, particularly near the rotor, which then end up in the accepted material. To avoid the undesirable shredding of impurities, a second stage was added after a first stage consisting of a secondary pulper.
Furthermore, devices are known in which the separation of the acceptable agglomerates and impurities contained in a suspension is carried out by means of an impact effect. However, these devices have the disadvantage that they tend to become clogged easily and also lead to the impurities being crushed. The disadvantages are due to the fact that, due to operation under pressure, very small sieve holes or fine slots are required for an adequate separation or sorting effect, which tend to become blocked. However, the deflaking elements used in such devices, which are arranged, for example, at the rear end of a rotor, have such a strong separation effect that they crush and cut impurities, which mainly consist of plastic films.
The object of the invention is to provide a device which avoids the disadvantages known from the prior art, whereby the device according to the invention enables an effective separation of the impurities contained in a suspension from the good substances also contained in the suspension, without the impurities being crushed and in which the good fibers contained in the suspension can be recovered at the same time.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.
Zur Beschleunigung des Trennvorganges kann eine Spritzwasservorrichtung in dieThe advantages that can be achieved with the invention are in particular that the impurities separated by the device according to the invention are dried and compressed to such an extent that they can be deposited as waste material in suitable landfills in a cost-effective and space-saving manner or burned economically as fuel. It is also advantageous that an almost complete recovery of the acceptable materials contained in the suspension, i.e. the usable fibrous materials, is possible with the device according to the invention, so that on the one hand the manufacturing costs can be reduced and on the other hand the amount of waste can be reduced. The two-sieve system according to the invention offers optimal sieve utilization and a very high throughput. The self-cleaning principle of the sieve surfaces prevents blockage, so that the efficiency of the device according to the invention is significantly increased. Acceptable materials that have been sorted out or washed out remain separated from the unsorted material mixture and cannot flow back to the unsorted material mixture, as is the case with a vibrating shaker, for example. To speed up the separation process, a spray water device can be installed in the
A separation device must be installed which additionally washes out the unsorted mixture of substances.
The device according to the invention is characterized by a very low energy requirement. A particular advantage is that the deflake removal device, the wing rotor and the dewatering device are driven by a motor. This design also has the advantage that it ensures a space-saving design. Due to the low speed of the device, it runs quietly, so that special soundproofing measures are not required. Furthermore, if the device according to the invention is installed horizontally at ground level, it does not need to be anchored to the ground. The device according to the invention also has the advantage that it is low-wear and requires little maintenance.

As shown in the schematic overall view in Fig. and in Figs. 2a and 2b, the device (1) according to the invention consists essentially of the following components. At the inlet of the suspension (2) to be separated, a deflaking device (10) is arranged, in which the accepted material agglomerates (3) are crushed, as shown in Figs. 6a to 6f. The suspension (2) passes via an inclined chute or line (20) into a separating device (40), which essentially consists of two fixed, concentrically arranged sieves (50 and 51) and a conveyor or vane rotor (60), whereby the vanes (61) of the vane rotor move in the space (52) formed by the two sieves. The separating device (40) has an outlet (6) for the separated acceptable materials (3), which are collected in a container (70). Furthermore, an outlet (7) for the separated reject or impurity materials (4) is provided on the separating device (40), which leads these impurities (4) to a dewatering device (80), which preferably consists of a screw. The impurities (4) are dewatered in advance in the screw (80). In a special embodiment, complete or sufficient drying of the impurities (4) takes place by an extruder (120), which causes additional compression and dewatering by applying pressure and in which the desired dry content is achieved by a downstream heating device (130). The impurities (4) produced by this manufacturing process are in the form of strands.
A further embodiment of the device (1) according to the invention differs from the device (1) shown in the figure and in the figures 2a and 2b.
dadurch, daß anstelle der Strangpresse (120) die vollständige bzw. ausreichende Trocknung der Störstoffe (4) durch eine Heizung (130) ohne eine zusätzliche Komprimierung erfolgt, so daß die Störstoffe als krümeliger Stoff anfallen.in that, instead of the extrusion press (120), the complete or sufficient drying of the impurities (4) is carried out by a heater (130) without additional compression, so that the impurities arise as a crumbly material.
The device according to the invention works as follows: First, the suspension (2),
Während der Aufgabe dieser Flüssigkeit (2) erfolgt eine schonende Zerkleinerung der wiederverwendbaren Faserstoffewhich contains the solids (3 and 4) to be separated, is fed to the device (1) according to the invention without pressure. During the addition of this liquid (2), the reusable fibers are gently shredded
The good fiber agglomerates (3) are largely broken down into individual fibers without the contaminants
Eine(4) are also crushed. The fibers (3) and impurities (4) that are well separated in the aqueous suspension (2) are, after a short residence time in the despeckler (10), immediately subjected to pressureless sieving, as shown in Fig. 3a and 3b. During this sieving process, the impurities (4) are separated from the usable fibers (3). As in every sorting process, the water carrier medium is split into two solids streams, whereby the solids stream that contains the acceptable materials and passes through the sieves (50 and 51) has a slightly lower solids concentration than the inflow stream, while the overflow or reject, i.e. the solids stream that contains the impurities (4), has a slightly higher solids concentration. However, despite this thickening effect, the upper reaches still contain so much water after the separation process that it cannot be disposed of as waste in a landfill or is not suitable as fuel or for other uses.
Pre-dewatering takes place through the dewatering screw (£0) integrated with the separating device (40).
The final dry content of 10 to 45%, on average 20 to 25%, achieved in the dewatering screw (80) is by no means sufficient for all types of further use of the dewatered overflow materials or impurities. One possible further processing is, for example, the formation of deposited strands or granulation with subsequent combustion for the purpose of generating thermal energy. This requires final dry contents of 94 to 98%, unless a large amount of energy is to be used for the combustion of moist material in the form of heating oil or gas consumption.
Therefore, the upper flow material of the separating device (40), which has been pre-thickened to ramax. 45% in the dewatering screw (80), is brought to a final dry content of 80 to 90% in an extruder (120) immediately downstream of the dewatering screw (80).
Um das Auseinanderfallen des so gebildeten Stranges zu verhindern, muß der Stoff nach der Erwärmung wiederIn one embodiment of the invention, according to Fig. 13a and 13b, an additional pressing and compacting process is connected downstream based on the principle of an intermittently operating extrusion press (120). The impurities (4) compacted in this way can be heated in a subsequent heating zone (130) until the plastic components contained in the impurities (4) temporarily partially liquefy. This causes the various materials contained in the impurities (4) to stick together, as shown in Fig. 13c. In order to prevent the strand formed in this way from falling apart, the material must be re-pressed after heating.
Die in der Verdichtungszone ausgepreßte Flüssigkeit kann durch entsprechende Entwässerungsbohrungen (125) im Mantel (121) entweichen.cooled, otherwise the internal forces built up by the pressing of the strand would push the strand apart. Cooling can be accomplished by a cooling and hardening zone (140) provided for this purpose. After the impurities (4) have cooled down again, short, cylindrical strand pieces are obtained that can be easily burned. The liquid pressed out in the compression zone can escape through corresponding drainage holes (125) in the jacket (121).
As shown in Fig. 4a and Fig. 4b, a single motor (110) drives the despeckle device (10), the vane rotor (60) and the dewatering device (80) via chains (111) or V-belts (113) respectively. The vane rotor (60) and the dewatering device (80) are driven directly via the motor (110), while the despeckle device (10) is driven directly by the motor (110) through the rotation of the vane rotor (60). As shown in Fig. 4a, the rotary shafts (18, 19) for the despeckle device (10), the shaft (62) for the vane rotor (60), the shaft (81) for the dewatering device (80) and the shaft (112) for the motor (110) are arranged parallel to one another.
Figures 6a to 6f show embodiments of the deflaking device (10). As shown in Figure 6a, the deflaking device (10) can consist of a rotating brush roller (11) and a stationary counter-form (13) provided with brushes. The counter-form (13) can have the shape of a circular segment in cross section.
In Fig. 6b, the deflake removal device (10) consists of two brush rollers (11, 12) arranged opposite one another, which can have an opposite or a same direction of rotation.
Fig. 6c and 6d show brush rollers (14, 15) which have a spiral bristle arrangement and which interlock.
According to Fig. 6e, the deflaking device (10) consists of a rotating brush plate (16) and a fixed brush plate (17) arranged opposite this brush plate (16). However, two rotating brush plates (16, 17) can be used as the deflaking device (10), whereby the direction of rotation of the brush plates (16, 17) can be the same or opposite. In principle, the deflaking device (10) is arranged parallel to the axis of rotation or shaft (62) of the vane rotor (60), as shown in Fig. 4a, for example. In principle, however, arrangements transverse to the axis of rotation (62) of the vane rotor (62) are also possible.
Die Auffangrinne oder Leitung (20) weist in der Regel eine Neigung zwischen 1 und 7 Grad zur Horizontalen auf und endetAs shown in Fig. 2a, 2b and 3a, 3b of an embodiment of the device (1) according to the invention, the suspension (2) containing the solids (3, 4) emerges from the underside of the despeckle device (10) after the despeckle removal process and reaches the separating device (40) via an axially arranged channel or line (20). The despeckle device (40) according to the invention ensures that the usable fibers are well separated, while the contaminants are retained in their original size. The collecting channel or line (20) generally has an inclination of between 1 and 7 degrees to the horizontal and ends

The liquid (2) then exits, as shown in Fig. 5, in the immediate vicinity of a rotating vane rotor (60), with a guide channel (65) that is closed at the top and open at the bottom being formed on the hub (49). In this way, the centrifugal effect of the rotating vane rotor also ensures good material distribution in the area of the intermediate space (52) formed by the two fixed, concentrically arranged sieves (50 and 51). The accepted material (3) passes through the outer sieve (51) from the inside to the outside through the sieve perforation. The accepted material (3) passes through the inner sieve (50) in the direction from the outside to the inside
The crucial point is that the inner sieve (50) has an unperforated zone (58) in its base area, which serves as a kind of collecting tray for the acceptable material (3) that passes from the outside into the inside through the holes in the upper area of the cylindrical inner sieve (50). A certain amount of acceptable material build-up thus forms in the lower area (58) of the cylindrical sieve basket. The acceptable material (3) can then flow out through an opening (59) in the front wall (43) to which the sieve baskets of the sieves (50 and 51) are attached. The opening (59) is located at the lowest point of the circular cross-section of the sieve basket of the sieve (50), as shown in Fig. 5.
Gegenüber der senkrechten Mittellinie liegtAs shown for example in Fig. 5, 9a and 9b, the inner sieve (50) has an opening (53) in a bottom area, which extends over a range of 3/4 to 1/1 of the sieve length, preferably over 4/5 of the sieve length. Opposite the vertical center line is
Entsprechend der Fig. 9b ist das Innensieb im oberen Bereich über einen Winkelbereich von 180 - 330 Grad gelocht.the center line of the opening (53) in an angular range of approximately 15 to 60 degrees, which in a special embodiment can be between 20 and 180 mm wide. According to Fig. 9b, the inner sieve is perforated in the upper area over an angular range of 180 - 330 degrees.
The vanes (61) ensure the even distribution of the solids (3, 4) over the outer surface (54) of the inner screen cylinder (50) and over the inner surface (57) of the outer screen cylinder (51).
The outer screen cylinder (51) also has an axial opening (55) in the lower cylinder area, which, in one embodiment, extends over the entire length of the cylinder according to Fig. 5 and 9a and whose center line is in the circumferential direction relative to the vertical skirt line in an angular range of 15 degrees to 75 degrees. The opening (55) is formed in a lower quadrant of the screen cylinder (51), which lies in the downward movement of the wings (61) of the wing rotor (60), and is formed at a distance from the opening (53). The angular range of the opening (55) on the outer screen cylinder (51) can be changed by suitable devices. The size of the opening (55) can be adjusted in both the axial and the circumferential direction. A flap that can rotate about an axis is also possible, with the axis of rotation coinciding with a longitudinal edge of the opening or being parallel to it. The width of the outlet opening (55) on the outer sieve cylinder (51) can be used to influence the residence time of the material components retained by the sieve in the sieving area.
As shown in Fig. 2a and 3a, the outer and inner sieves (51 and 50) are centered and secured to the fixed front side (43) by means of a centering device (44). Between the fixed front wall (43) and the rotating disk (45) there is a housing (41) that encloses the outer sieve (51) and is open towards the collecting container (70). The housing (41) is sealed off from the disk (45) using suitable sealing devices or means. According to Fig. 5, the bearing (48) for the conveyor rotor shaft (62) is also arranged in the hub (49) formed on the front wall (43). The hub (49) also has stiffening ribs (64), with a vertical stiffening rib (64a) extending to the beginning of the closed area (58) of the inner screen (50), with the opening (53) ending on the other side of the stiffening rib (64a). A further stiffening rib (64b) extends from the hub (49) to the beginning of the opening (53) to form the above-mentioned guide groove (65).
Frischwasser und auch die Klärung vonA spray water device can be used to loosen the circulating impurities and acceptable substances (4 and 3) and to prevent the sieves (50 and 51) from clogging. In Fig. 7a, 7b and 7c a spray water device (30) or the arrangement of several spray water devices (30) with wide jet nozzles is shown, which are arranged on the outer circumference of the outer sieve (51). One embodiment provides a horizontal spray pipe (32) with wide jet nozzles (31). This variant requires the use of fresh water or at least clarified return water so that the spray pipe does not become clogged. Fresh water and also the clarification of
Process water represents a significant cost factor for industrial companies. The availability of these auxiliary materials is also often limited in terms of quantity, for example if the companies are located in areas with a hot climate and pronounced dry periods, where water shortages are usually to be expected. In order to reduce water consumption to an absolutely necessary minimum, intermittent spray water supply with adjustable pause time and operating duration is provided via a time relay control or a programmable electronic control.
Another embodiment is the use of an oscillating spray pipe (32), which allows the use of fewer spray nozzles (31) and thus reduces water consumption via the smaller open nozzle cross-section.
When using return water with a high fiber content as spray water, the third variant of the spray water device is used. This consists of straight individual spray pipes with only one nozzle each. The spray pipes are connected to the housing (41) of the separating device (40) with quick-release couplings in the manner shown in Fig. 7g, whereby the spray pipes extend through holes in the housing shell (41·) of the separating device (40) into its interior and end in corresponding holes (56) in the outer strainer basket (51), in which they sit with their nozzle (31). Flexible hoses are also attached to the ends of the spray pipes located outside the housing (41) of the separating device (40) with quick-release couplings as shown in Fig. 7d. The flexible hoses connect the individual spray pipes to the outlet nozzles of a common distributor pipe.
Fig. 8a and 8d show schematically the scraper blades (61), which are evenly distributed over the circumference. The scraper blades (61) are attached to the rotating disk (45). In a special embodiment, as shown in Fig. 8c and 8d, brush strips (63) are attached to the blades (61). The low speed of the blade rotor (60) makes it possible to clean the sieve walls easily. The brush strips (63) also prevent the sieves (51, 51) from becoming blocked, so that an increased throughput is possible and a higher efficiency of the device (1) according to the invention is therefore ensured.
Due to the special arrangement and design of the two screens (50, 51) and the special supply of the liquid (2) via the channel (20) and the wing rotor (60), it is not possible for already separated solids (3 and 4) to flow back. Rather, the reusable solids (3) can escape with most of the water through the perforated walls of the screens (50, 51) both to the outside and to the inside. The impurities (4) remain between the two screen cylinders (50, 51) and are fed through the opening (55) in the outer screen (51) to a combined conveyor and compaction screw (80). The combined conveyor and compaction screw (80) dewaters the impurities (4) and thickens them. The material (4) can be removed through an opening (99) at the rear of the screw (80) or fed to a heating device (130b) or the extrusion press (120) for further drying. Depending on the design of the conveyor screw (80), there can also be two openings (99) for expelling the previously dewatered impurities (4).
In Fig. 10a - 10d, 11a - He and 12a - 12d, embodiments of the dewatering screw (80) and the container or support trough (90) surrounding the dewatering screw (80) are shown. After the separation process, in these embodiments, the pre-thickened material (4) falls through the outlet opening (55) by gravity into the support trough (90) or is conveyed into the support trough (90) by a corresponding dosing device. The support trough (90) surrounding the screw (80) is open at the top below the outlet opening (55). On the remaining length, the dewatering screw is designed as a tubular screw (83). This closed tubular screw part (83) is at least 200 mm long. The trough wall (91) of the dewatering screw (80) is designed as a sieve over its entire extension area. One design variant according to Fig. 11a is a perforated plate (92), on the inside of which facing the screw shaft (81) a sieve fabric or mesh (93) is applied. The sieve fabric can be a metal sieve, e.g. a bronze sieve or a sieve made of stainless steel wires. It can also be a plastic sieve. Another variant of the dewatering screw (80) according to Figs. 11b and Hc provides a combination of two sieve plates with different hole widths as the sieve. The sieve plate (94, 96) with the coarse perforations serves as a support plate, and the sieve with the fine perforations or possibly also slots (95) (Fig. Hb) serves as the actual sieve plate.
Im letzten, austrittsseitigen Bereich der Entwässerungsschnecke, also in dem Bereich in dem dieAs shown in Fig. 10b, the screw shaft (81) is a conveyor screw with continuous conveyor blades (82). In the last, outlet-side area of the dewatering screw, i.e. in the area in which the
If the screw is designed as a tubular screw (83), a screw blade (84) is attached in an arrangement directed opposite to the conveying movement.
The outlet (99) of the dewatering screw (80) is mounted at the end of the tube screw part (83) as shown in Fig. 11a - e and Fig. 12a - d. It has proven particularly advantageous to place the outlet (99) for the thickened material in the area of the tube screw part at the top of the tube as shown in Fig. 1e. The screw (80) then empties against the dynamic pressure of a tube filling. The outlet opening (99) can also be mounted in any other position along the circumference of the tube. In this case, additional dynamic pressure must be achieved by other measures.
As shown in Fig. 2a, 3a and 12a - d, the outlet opening (99) can additionally be provided with a counter-pressure cover (100) that can be rotated about an axis (101), through which the gap width (w) of the outlet opening (99) can be regulated and further counter-pressure can be exerted on the material to be dewatered (4). As a result, the screw (80) works under counter-pressure on the outlet side. This results in forced dewatering. The counter-pressure can be adjusted at least on the pressure cover (100).
This can be achieved by using a tough, but to a certain extent still deformable material for the conveyor blade (82), whereby the conveyor blade (82) is only firmly connected to the screw shaft (81) at one end, while the other end is connected to
einem Führungsstift (85) einer Verstellvorrichtung (86) befestigt ist. Der Führungsstift (85) bewegt sich in einer Nut (87) der Schneckenwelle (81).a guide pin (85) of an adjustment device (86). The guide pin (85) moves in a groove (87) of the worm shaft (81).
Instead of a continuous screw blade (82), several short, interrupted blades (82a) with an inclined position can also be used (Fig. 10d). The angle of attack of the narrow blades can be changed using an adjusting device and thus the intensity of the counter-pressure can be regulated according to the sliding properties of the material to be thickened and the required degree of dewatering.
A simple form of the dewatering screw (80) (Fig. 10a) does not have a counter-dam wing (84), so that the screw (80) works as a plug screw (88) in the counter-dam. In this case, the intensity of the counter-pressure can only be regulated on the screw itself if the core shaft (88a) of the screw (88) is made somewhat longer and a telescopically movable pipe section (88c) is attached to the casing pipe (88b) of the screw, with the outlet opening (99) located on the movable pipe section (88c). This allows the length of the plug and the backflow through the plug to be adjusted. In addition, counter-pressure regulation is also possible on the dam cover (100) at the outlet opening (99) in the same way as in the previously described variants of the dewatering screw (80).
Zur Ausübung des Gegendruckes kann der Staudeckel (100)To exert the counter pressure, the retaining cover (100)
mit einem Gegengewicht (103) versehen werden. Günstigerbe provided with a counterweight (103).
ist jedoch eine Lösung, bei der der Gegendruck genauer undHowever, there is a solution where the counter pressure is more accurate and
mit geringerem Einstellaufwand einjustiert werden kann.can be adjusted with less adjustment effort.
Such a variant is shown in Fig. 12a and 12b, in which the counter pressure is adjusted by means of spring force. The level of the spring force of the compression spring (104) used is adjusted using a handwheel (104a), whereby the spring travel of the spring is changed in its length.
Another variant (Fig. 12c and 12d) of the retention cover (100) is particularly advantageous, in which a hydraulic cylinder (105) or a pneumatic cylinder (106) exerts the opening width "w" and thus the counter-resistance on the escaping material. This variant enables remote control of the counter-pressure and thus the discharge material density from a control panel.
The back pressure can of course also be controlled electromechanically by remote control.
In der Kühlzone (141) und inThe impurities (4) previously dewatered in the screw (80) pass through a funnel (122) into an extrusion press (120) shown in Fig. 13a to c, which operates intermittently so that the inflow of impurities (4) can be closed off during the compression process. Compression takes place in a space consisting of a piston (123a) and cylinder* (123b), which tapers conically on the outlet side. Drainage holes (125) can be installed in the compression zone (124) to ensure that the pressed-out water can drain away. In the heating zone (131) adjoining the dewatering and compression zone (124), the impurities (4) are heated to such an extent that the impurities (4) stick together. The heating zone (131) is followed by a cooling zone (141) which accelerates the cooling of the impurities (4). In the cooling zone (141) and in
In a curing zone (142) arranged downstream, the expansion forces contained in the impurities (4) pressed into a strand are balanced out, so that strand-shaped pieces are created as the end product.
In another embodiment, only a heating device (130a) is provided in connection with the dewatering screw, which dries the impurities (4) to a desired dry content.
Die Erhitzung und Trocknung der Störstoffe (4) durch dieThe heating and drying of the contaminants (4) by the
Heating devices (130a and 130b) can be electrically operated using heating coils or heating sleeves. Infrared radiation of the heating tube is also possible. The required heat can also be generated by steam in a double-walled heating tube or by hot air or hot exhaust gases in a double-walled heating tube. The combustion of a gas-oxygen mixture or a petrochemical fuel or a solid fuel is also possible.
Eine weitere Variante der Heizzone (131) sieht daher die Verwendung einer gewebeartigenThe following principle is used for electrical heating with heating coils or heating sleeves. If a current flows through an electrical conductor with a relatively high current intensity in relation to the conductor cross-section, the conductor heats up and releases heat energy into its surroundings. The conductor in question can now be arranged as a spiral around the cylindrical heating tube of the extrusion press (120). However, with a spiral-shaped conductor, heat transfer is only limited, since there is only a small specific contact area with the heating tube of the extrusion press (120). Another variant of the heating zone (131) therefore involves the use of a fabric-like
Heating sleeve made of numerous fine conductors that have been processed into a conductor fabric, e.g. conductor fabric as used in electric blankets or heating pads. This type of design improves the specific contact area for heat transfer.
In infrared radiation, the heating tube is surrounded by two infrared radiators with a half-shell shape or by two straight infrared rays that are connected to each other by two side walls, so that a closed, rectangular heating channel is created, inside which the heating tube runs.
With steam heating, a second pipe, abbreviated to the jacket pipe, is laid concentrically around the heating pipe. Hot steam or saturated steam is blown into the space between the heating pipe and the jacket pipe on the side of the heating pipe facing the extrusion press. The condensate is drained off using a condensate system (not shown in detail).
Instead of steam, hot air or hot exhaust gases from a combustion process can be passed through the space between the heating pipe and the jacket pipe.
Der Verbrennungsraum ist durch einenIn flame heating by burning petrochemical fuels or gas/air mixtures, in one embodiment, spiral tubes provided with nozzles or holes are arranged around the heating tube at a distance from which the combustible gas or gas/air mixture emerges. Ignition is carried out electrically. Another embodiment provides axial tubes that are arranged parallel to the heating tube and at a distance from it. The combustion chamber is surrounded by a
zylindrischen Mantel umgeben, der einen Abgasaustritt besitzt. Zur Erhöhung der Wirtschaftlichkeit ist es vorgesehen, die Verbrennung intermittierend zu betreiben und/oder die Abgase zu einer Vorwärmung der Brennstoffe bzw. der Zuluft zu verwenden, wodurch Brennstoffe eingespart werden.surrounded by a cylindrical casing that has an exhaust gas outlet. To increase efficiency, it is planned to operate the combustion intermittently and/or to use the exhaust gases to preheat the fuels or the supply air, thereby saving fuel.
When burning solid fuels, the heating pipe passes through a boiler. The ignition of the solid fuels is carried out by an auxiliary flame, which is briefly generated by a small oil burner until the ignition temperature of the solid fuels is reached. The combustion of solid fuels is only economical in large-scale systems.
