Spannung aber auf Grund der größeren- magnetischen Induktion zumindest gleich groß;
Verzerrungen auftreten.Magnetic head for recording and playing back magnetic tapes The liislier
for the uptake and re-bile of ,, \ Iagii-etton [bäiiderii used magnetic heads
were relatively large; with your so-called ring head, for example
the one with the speaking license. Hearing coil provided, consisting of layered sheet metal
Iron core about 7 mm wide and about 3.5 mm thick. According to the invention, ciii
Magnetic head for recording or playing back magnetic sound tracks of a given width
proposed on tapes, i.e. the cross-section <Ics 1? isene core within
of the coil is designed to have the same area as a rectangular area, one side of which is the length of one side
approximately equal to the width of the audio track and its other side length equal to or less than
1 / 1s of the audio track width. The vlagnetköpfe can by this measure while maintaining
its 1? sensitive, can be significantly reduced in size. It may even be
possible to increase the sensitivity despite the reduction in size. It is not necessary,
that the cross-section of the iron core within the coil has exactly the same shape
like the rectangular area proposed according to the invention, it is rather possible
to taper the iron core in the area of the coil, so that it is smaller
Width than the audio track width. Its thickness is then adjusted accordingly,
so that the sizing rule of the invention is met. This makes it possible
to dimension the coil in its outer dimensions and the tapered iron core so,
that the total width of the head is essentially equal to the soundtrack width, at least
but is not bigger. In this way the head becomes particularly small, and it can
can be conveniently used in the device.
When using a magnetic head
according to the invention for reproduction purposes the maximum generated from magnetic tape
sampled magnetic flux in the iron core at about the middle of the to be transmitted
Frequency band lying frequencies, z. B. at 2ooo Hz, a magnetic induction
greater than 5 gauss. An induction of about 10 Gauss, which
can be achieved by reducing the cross section of the iron core even further.
In the previous magnetic heads, magnetic induction was much smaller
worked in the iron core, z. B. o.5 Gauss. As a result, the exploitation of the
Low iron and the heads had a relatively high inductive resistance.
In the invention, however, the inductive resistance of the coil is smaller, the output
However, due to the greater magnetic induction, voltage is at least the same;
the power delivered is therefore due to the low internal resistance
Winding bigger. As a result, one can transform by means of a transformer
at the amplifier input a higher voltage than with the previous heads with large
Achieve core cross-section. The small core cross-section is still so large
that the magnetic induction does not reach the saturation value, so that no non-linear
Distortions occur.
auskommt. When using the magnetic heads according to the invention for recording purposes
the small internal resistance is also an advantage, since one with less speech performance
gets by.
The magnetic heads. According to the invention, because of their small size
z. B. be arranged in a recess of the audio reel through which the magnetic tape
or a film provided with a magnetic sound track is guided; you get
thus a particularly good synchronization.
anwendbar.According to the further invention it is proposed to achieve a
particularly good frequency response to train the iron core in a certain way. Therefor
two poles should be provided. at least one of which carries a spool. Of the
one pole is expediently perpendicular to the strip and the other, in the direction of travel of the strip
The pole behind is curved so that it gradually separates itself from the tape
removed. During playback, it shields those emerging from the tape
Lines of force, so that there is a sudden drop in field at the scanning point.
The invention is also applicable to differently shaped heads, e.g. B. with ring heads,
applicable.
i :bis 7 beispielsweise erläutert. The invention and related details are illustrated in Fig.
i: to 7 explained for example.
Der Pol i besitzt an seiner Bandauflagefläche
Tonsteuerstelle entsteht. In Fig. I the magnetic head is shown seen from the side. It consists of the pole i with the coil 2 on the non-magnetic base plate 3 and the second pole o. the film provided with a magnetic sound track is guided. The sound roll thus forms the housing of the magnetic head. The poles i and 4 consist of thin magnetic sheet metal strips, e.g. B. from transmission plate about 0.3 mm. thick, which is preferably used in a single layer. They are expedient by brazing using a * non-magnetic metal, e.g. B. brass, connected to each other, and the solder joint between the poles forms the magnetic gap. This can be made particularly small, so that there is good transmission of even the highest frequencies. In Fig. 2 the head is shown in cross section. On its tape contact surface, the pole i has a width corresponding to that of the magnetic tape 6 or the sound track located on it and then tapers in the area of the scanning coil 2. The pole cross-section in the area of the scanning coil is equal in area to a rectangular area, one side of which is approximately equal to the audio track width of z. B. 7 mm and the other side length is equal to or less than 1 / 1s of the audio track width, z. B. 0.3 to 0.5 mm. The cross-sectional shape in the area of the scanning coil does not need to be congruent with the aforementioned rectangular area, it can rather also be square or round, since essentially only the area is important. The cross-section of the iron core can be further reduced in the area of the coil, e.g. B. by a recess in the form of the dashed indicated slot 7. The scanning coil 2 is not wider than the pole i on the tape support surface or the soundtrack width, so that the entire head is very narrow; this is particularly favorable for installation in the tape roll 5. The coil 2 is as close as possible, z. B. up to 0.3 mm distance, to the band 6, which is quite possible because the pole o should consist of correspondingly thin sheet metal. The representation in the figures is greatly enlarged, in reality the head can have dimensions of only a few millimeters in width, length and height. In Fig. 3 the arrangement is shown seen from above. The poles i and 4 are pointed at their ends facing away from the band 6 in order to promote a gradual crossing of the magnetic flux in air. The pole ends are expediently approximately parallel to the strip. The pole 4, like the pole i, can also be provided with a coil; will. In general, it acts as a so-called shielding pole, so that the lines of force running behind the magnetic gap in the direction of travel of the tape cannot take effect and a very steep field drop occurs at the sound control point.
Der Pol i besteht
In Fig.4 is a modified magnetic head in side view and in
Fig. 5 shown seen from above. The base plate 3 is beveled on the sides
for the purpose of installation in the device with the help of a dovetail mounting. the
Poles i and 4 are screwed to the base plate 3 at their ends. The pole i exists
of two parts which are magnetically connected to one another by the grub screw 8 and
be held in the base plate 3 at the same time. In Fig. 6 is the arrangement
of the magnetic head inside the sound roll
5 seen from the side
shown and in Fig. 7 in cross section. The tape 6 is over the guide rollers
9 placed around the clay roller 5 with the largest possible wrap angle. The magnetic head
is open with its beveled base plate 3 through the tab io (learn lever i
i attached, which has a recess for the sound roller axis or a corresponding one
Possesses curvature. The lever i i is connected to the adjusting lever located outside the tape roll 5
13 connected, which by the spring 14 against the appropriately adjustable stop
15 is pressed. With the help of the setting lever 13, the position of the magnetic head
can be changed and even adjusted during operation. It is possible within the
Tonroller 5 also several, z. B. provide two magnetic heads for use in
Connection with a film that has several sound tracks.
