Eine Grubenlokomotive mit Accumulatorenbetrieb wird sowohl zu grofs als auch zu schwer, wenn man versucht, die Accumulatorenbatterien auf der eigentlichen Lokomotive unterzubringen. Bei Anwendung besonderer Tender macht sich dagegen der Uebelstand bemerkbar, dafs die Lokomotive zu leicht ausfällt, um die erforderliche Zugkraft zu entwickeln. Diese mufs nämlich verhältnifsmäfsig bedeutend sein, weil das Zuggewicht um das. Gewicht der mitgeführten Accumulatorenbalterien vergröfsert wird. Vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt, das Tendergewicht durch die besondere Art der Kupplung für die Adhäsion nutzbar zu machen. Hierzu dienen die Kreuzgelenke a1 und α2 (s. Fig. i), welche der aus dem Motorwagen und zwei Tendern bestehenden Lokomotive gestatten, ebenso anstandslos wie bei der gewöhnlichen Kupplung durch Haken und Kette die Nebenseiten und Krümmungen. der Bahn zu passiren.
