Description
Basic rangefinder, in particular for photographic cameras The invention relates to a basic range finder for photographic apparatus, the is provided with a lens in the direct and in the indirect measuring beam. the Plano-spherical objective lens located in the indirect beam path is a molding of the one base end prism and therefore not changeable towards this part of the base prism. A rigid connection between this system and the other base end prism is an unchangeable position of the reflectors is also guaranteed. -By basic rangefinder there is the disadvantage that the two reflectors forming the base, mostly prisms, change their exact position to each other slightly, so that the adjustment of the whole device is lost and the same becomes unusable. That is why one has gone over to to connect the two prisms together by glass, creating a rhombic Glass prism results. A mutual shift of the "two reflective surfaces" is then no longer possible in use with this rigid body.
The use of such a rhombic glass prism has so far been in the case of rangefinders in which a lens is arranged within the base, neither proposed nor carried out because of these rangefinders The difficulty is that the two basic prisms cannot be joined through glass can connect; because between them lies the lens, which also determines it is to cause the measuring beam deflection.
The idea of the invention indicates a solution, according to which there is .auch with rangefinders with one lens each in the direct and indirect measuring beam is possible, the aforementioned Difficulty to be eliminated, so still the two basic prisms through glass together connect to. According to the invention, the forms within the base in the indirect Ray paths immovably arranged plane spherical objective lens with one base end prism a glass body, which is fixed to the other base end prism by optical cement is connected in such a way that the required lens power through an air gap is retained, the objective lens which can be pivoted four for the purpose of measuring beam control is arranged in the direct ray path.
The subject of the invention is shown in the figure in an exemplary embodiment shown.
On your camera body i. is housed in a housing 2 of the basic rangefinder. It consists of the glass body 3. your glass body .1 with cemented prism 5, the swiveling objective lens 6 and the ocular lens 7. The base is therefore composed of the glass bodies 3 and .1 and your prism 5 together. The glass body 3 has at its one end the reflective surface 8 and at its other end the concave spherical surface 9, which finely with the refractive index of the glass and the flat surface 26 together generate the refractive power for the fixed ojective lens. The base prism 1 is cemented to this concave spherical surface 9 in its outer edge zone to, which carries a corresponding concave spherical surface in this outer edge zone, while the central zone is provided with a plane surface ii. so that there is an air gap 12 between the spherical surface 9 and the plane surface ii. This air gap has the effect that the refractive power corresponding to an objective lens is maintained after the prism .1 is anchored. The prism 5 is cemented onto the base prism 1 so that a distorted view through the pivotable objective lens can take place. The Hvpotenusenfläclie this prism is liallidurchlässig or partially Fully mirrored and forms the basis reflecting surface 13. As mentioned above, the base forming rbonibische glass prism 3, .1, 5 thus connects the reflecting surfaces 8 and 13 rigidly arid immovably to each other, so that a change in position of the two mutually and thus a misalignment of the distance sniper is not possible.
The rhombic glass prism is rigidly attached in a mount 14, which in turn is firmly connected to the camera housing i. This socket has openings 15 and 16, which simultaneously act as diaphragms for the direct beam path through the Lens 6 dies. Furthermore, the bearing 17 for the pivot lever is in the socket 1d 18, on which the pivotable objective lens 6 is attached, is present. The pivot lever 18 is provided with a control arm which carries the coupling pin 20. The latter is pressed by the spring 2i against the control surface 22 of the 0l) lens mount 23, so that an inevitable coupling with the taking lens of the camera is guaranteed is. To the sharp. The 2t button is used to set the lens. of the lens mount by means of the thread, 2; in camera housing i in the direction of the object waxes before and moved back.
The pivotable objective lens 6 forms at the same time as a viewfinder lens with the eyepiece lens 7 together a Galileo suclier. while the vitreous 3, the ni: t its concave spherical surface 9 and its flat surface 26 a refractive power corresponding that de, finder lens 6 has, in the same way with the eyepiece lens 7 together in the distance sine, first-line passage, i.e. over the bass. is effective.
The camera is now focused by actively moving the camera oil back and forth in the direction of the optical axis by means of the thread 25 by means of the button 24. The coupling, pin 2o, which rests in the control surface 2 2 of the lens mount 23 , catches this movement and pivots the objective lens 6 via the control lever 19 and the pivot lever 1, 9 around the bearing axis 17 to which is perpendicular to the axis the coincidence (lei distance ruler sub-images is reached.
To adjust the two reflective surfaces 8 and 13 of the base, the cemented surface to zii is still to be used according to the invention. Since the concave spherical surface g of the glass body 3 takes on the character of a bearing shell for the convex spherical surface of the base prism, the base prism can .1 in this spherical surface do the ball center point 27 rotate. Therefore, when cementing the two parts 3 and .1 in the edge zone to the same twist against each other until the two reflective surfaces 8 and 13 are in the correct position to each other.
It is also possible to use a flat cement surface instead of the spherical cement surface to. In this case the plane surface ii of the base prism "1 iris to the edge" is carried out and the spherical surface 9 of the glass body 3 is provided with a plane facet at the edge 3 and .1 and thus the two reflective surfaces 8 u11 # 1 13 to one another then takes place in that the cement layer between the two flat surfaces is made more or less wedge-shaped.
It goes without saying. that also the training according to the invention of the range finder. especially de, rhombic glass body. construction over further distances and whose coupling to any cameras can be used. Besides, of course the formation of a range finder according to the z inventive concept even without attachment and without coupling to the taking lens of a camera only as a hand instrument possible.
