KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE. Der durch Patent Nr. 66385 geschützte Eisenbahnoberbau kennzeichnet sich durch Schienen mit einem Stege, dessen eine Seitenfläche mit der lothrechten Mittelebene des Schienenkopfes und -Fufses zusammenfällt, zum Zweck, die Schienen nach entsprechendem Bearbeiten ihrer Enden an Fufs und Kopf derart verlegen zu können, dafs ihre Stege abwechselnd rechts und links von jener Mittelebene zu stehen kommen, ohne Verletzungen oderVerkröpfungen am Steg vornehmen zu müssen. Dieser Aufbau des Geleises ist sowohl für Kopfschienen als auch für Rillenschienen mit symmetrischem Kopf anwendbar, ohne dafs mehr als ein Schienenprofil erforderlich ist. Bei Rillenschienen mit unsymmetrischem Kopf sind indessen zwei Profile erforderlich, wie sich dies aus der beiliegenden Zeichnung ergiebt.
