Der Abstand zwischen zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Zähnen des Zahnrades 3 entspricht dem Abstand zwischen den Löchern 12. Das Zahnrad 3 läuft aufgrund des Antriebes durch die Antriebswelle 5 über die durchlöcherte Schiene, und der mit dem Gehäuse 4 verbundene Aktenschrank wird bewegt.
