Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Silikon-modifiziertes Polyimid mit verbesserten Adhäsionseigenschaften.
- Ein Polyimidfilm hat ausgezeichnete Eigenschaften, zum Beispiel im Hinblick auf Hitzebeständigkeit, Kältebeständigkeit, chemische Widerstandsfähigkeit, elektrisch isolierende Eigenschaften und mechanische Festigkeit, und er wird in großem Umfang zum Beispiel als ein elektrisch isolierender Film, ein hitzebeständiger Film, als ein Basisfilm für flexible gedruckte Schaltungen verwendet. In jüngst vergangenen Jahren wurden, um die Adhäsion zu einem Siliciumwafer oder einem Glassubstrat zu verbessern, und um die Löslichkeit eines Polyimids in einem Lösungsmittel, den Biegemodul und die Zugscherfestigkeit zu verbessern, einige Silikon-modifizierte Polyimide entwickelt und in der Praxis verwendet.
- Filme aus den Silikon-modifizierten Polyimiden haben jedoch einem Haftmittel gegenüber schlechte Adhäsionseigenschaften, und deshalb haben diese Filme den Nachteil, daß sie in Anwendungen, bei denen hohes Adhäsionsvermögen erforderlich ist, nicht verwendet werden können.
- Als Verfahren, um diesen Nachteil zu eliminieren, wurden eine Sandstrahlbehandlung, eine Alkalibehandlung und das Hinzufügen eines anorganischen Füllstoffes zu dem Polyimidfilm vorgeschlagen. Zum Beispiel werden bei der Herstellung von Matten durch die Sandstrahlbehandlung, welche ein bekanntes Verfahren ist (z. B. Japanische Patentveröffentlichung Nr. 38-11838), beide Kanten des Films leicht beschädigt, und deshalb müssen beide Kanten des Films nach der Herstellung der Matten geschlitzt werden. Wegen dieses Filmverlustes nehmen die Kosten des Films in ungünstiger Weise zu. Darüberhinaus werden im Fall der Sandstrahlbehandlung Körner gegen den Polyimidfilm geschlagen, und deshalb treten in dem Polyimidfilm feine Risse auf, und einige dieser Risse erreichen die gegenüberliegende Oberfläche, so daß die elektrische Widerstandsfähigkeit in ungünstiger Weise abnimmt.
- Darüberhinaus wird bei der Alkalibehandlung eine hochkonzentrierte Alkalilösung verwendet, und deshalb sind Waschen und Trocknen als Nachbehandlungen notwendig. Deshalb ist die Alkalibehandlung unbefriedigend unter den Gesichtspunkten der Sicherheit, Durchführbarkeit und Produktivität. Bei dem Verfahren, welches den Schritt des Hinzufügens des anorganischen Füllstoffes zur Verbesserung der Adhäsionseigenschaften umfaßt (z. B. offengelegte Japanische Patentanmeldung Nr. 68852/1987), stellt sich das Problem, daß die physikalischen Eigenschaften des Polyimids selbst durch den anorganischen Füllstoff, der dem Film zugefügt wird, beeinträchtigt werden.
- Eine Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist die Bereitstellung eines Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidfilms mit verbesserten Adhäsionseigenschaften, und eine weitere Aufgabe der Erfindung ist die Bereitstellung eines Verfahrens zur Herstellung desselben.
- In Anbetracht solcher Situationen haben die Erfinder der vorliegenden Erfindung intensiv geforscht und diese technischen Probleme gelöst durch die Bereitstellung eines Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidfilms mit verbesserten Adhäsionseigenschaften und der ein Silikon-modifiziertes Polyimid oder einen Kompositstoff aus dem Silikonmodifizierten Polyimid und einem aromatischen Polyimid umfaßt, wobei besagtes Silikon-modifizierte Polyimid 0 bis 90 Mol% einer Struktureinheit, welche durch die Formel (1a) dargestellt wird,
- und 10 bis 100 Mol% einer Struktureinheit, welche durch die Formel (1b) dargestellt wird, umfaßt
- (in denen R¹ eine organische Gruppe wie eine vierwertige zyklische aromatische Kohlenstoffgruppe oder eine heterozyklische Gruppe ist; R² ist eine zweiwertige organische Gruppe wie eine aliphatische Gruppe mit zwei oder mehr Kohlenstoffatomen, eine alizyklische Gruppe, eine zyklische aromatische Kohlenstoffgruppe, eine heterozyklische Gruppe oder eine Polysiloxangruppe; R¹ oder R² können durch ein Halogenatom oder eine oder mehrere Alkylengruppen mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen substituiert sein; R³ und R&sup4; können identisch oder verschieden sein, und jede von ihnen ist eine Alkylengruppe mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen oder eine Phenylengruppe; R&sup5;, R&sup6;, R&sup7; und R&sup8; können identisch oder verschieden sein und jede von ihnen ist eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Alkoxygruppe mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Phenylgruppe oder eine Phenoxygruppe; und m ist eine Zahl von 1 bis 100), wobei das Verhältnis der Absorbanz N&sub1; des Absorptionsspektrums der Filmoberflächenschicht bei 1074 cm&supmin;¹ auf der Basis von Si-O zu der Absorbanz N&sub2; des Absorptionsspektrums bei 824 cm&supmin;¹ auf der Basis eines Benzolrings in einem Infrarot-Absorptionsspektrum der Filmoberfläche 0,7 oder weniger ist. Es wurde auch ein Verfahren zu seiner Herstellung bereitgestellt, wie in Anspruch 2 definiert ist.
- Mit dem Verfahren gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung kann der Silikon-modifizierte Polyimidfilm mit verbesserten Adhäsionseigenschaften erfolgreich erhalten werden, indem ein spezifischer Silikon-modifizierter Polyimidfilm einer spezifischen Koronaentladungs-Behandlung unterworfen wird. Infolgedessen wurden der Silikon-modifizierte Polyimidfilm mit verbesserten Adhäsionseigenschaften gemäß der Erfindung und das Verfahren zu seiner Herstellung vollendet.
- Der Silikon-modifizierte Polyimidfilm mit verbesserten Adhäsionseigenschaften gemäß der Erfindung umfaßt einen Polyimidfilm, der ein Silikon-modifiziertes Polyimid oder einen Kompositstoff aus einem Silikon-modifizierten Polyimid und einem aromatischen Polyimid umfaßt, und ist dadurch charakterisiert, daß ein Absorbanz-Verhältnis N&sub1;/N&sub2; (eine Absorbanz bei 1074 cm&supmin;¹ zu einer Absorbanz bei 824 cm&supmin;¹) in einem Infrarot-Absorptionsspektrum der Filmoberfläche 0,7 oder weniger ist.
- Das Verfahren zur Herstellung des Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidfilms mit verbesserten Adhäsionseigenschaften gemäß der Erfindung umfaßt den Schritt, einen Polyimidfilm, der ein Silikon-modifiziertes Polyimid oder einen Kompositstoff des Silikon-modifizierten Polyimids und eines aromatischen Polyimids umfaßt, einer Koronaentladungsbehandlung von 2500 bis 87000 W.Min./m² zu unterwerfen.
- Fig. 1 zeigt ein Infrarotabsorptionsspektrum eines Silikonmodifizierten Polyimidfilms (der einer Koronabehandlung unterworfen wurde), und
- Fig. 2 zeigt ein Infrarotabsorptionsspektrum eines Silikonmodifizierten Polyimidfilms (welcher keiner Koronabehandlung unterworfen wurde).
- In diesen Zeichnungen ist N&sub1; eine Absorbanz bei 1074 cm&supmin;¹ und N&sub2; ist eine Absorbanz bei 824 cm&supmin;¹.
- Ein Absorbanzverhältnis N&sub1;/N&sub2; (eine Absorbanz bei 1074 cm&supmin;¹ zu einer Absorbanz bei 824 cm&supmin;¹) in einem Infrarot- Absorptionsspektrum der Filmoberfläche eines Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidfilms, die vorliegende Erfindung betreffend, bedeutet ein Verhältnis der Absorbanz N&sub1; des Absorptionsspektrums der Filmoberfläche bei 1074 cm&supmin;¹ auf der Basis von Si-O zu der Absorbanz N&sub2; des Absorptionsspektrums bei 824 cm&supmin;¹ auf der Basis eines Benzolrings.
- Es wird gefordert, daß das obenerwähnte Absorbanzverhältnis N&sub1;/N&sub2; des Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidfilms gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung 0,7 oder weniger ist. Wenn N&sub1;/N&sub2; größer als 0,7 ist, gehen Adhäsionseigenschaften verloren, und ein Produkt, das unter solchen Bedingungen erhalten wird, ist nicht mehr der Silikon-modifizierte Polyimidfilm gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung.
- Die Bedingungen für die Koronaentladungs-Behandlung im dem Verfahren gemäß der Erfindung sind 2500 bis 87000 W.Min./m², vorzugsweise 5700 bis 18000 W. Min./m². Unter Behandlungsbedingungen von weniger als 2500 W. Min./m ist es schwierig, beständig ausreichende Adhäsionskraft zu erhalten. Im Gegensatz dazu tritt unter Behandlungsbedingungen von 87000 W. Min./m² oder mehr ein Blockierungsphänomen auf, bei dem organische Zersetzungsprodukte ausfallen, wahrscheinlich aufgrund der Koronaentladungs-Behandlung, und die mechanische Festigkeit des Films wird in nachteiliger Weise beeinflußt. Demzufolge kann die Verwendung der Koronaentladungs-Behandlung kaum als praktisch angesehen werden.
- Der Polyimidfilm der vorliegenden Erfindung, der das Silikon-modifizierte Polyimid oder einen Kompositstoff des Silikon-modifizierten Polyimids und eines aromatischen Polyimids umfaßt, kann erhalten werden, indem eine Silikonmodifizierte Polyimid-Vorläuferlösung als Beschichtungslösung auf ein Substrat, wie eine Glasplatte, eine Kupferplatte, eine Aluminiumplatte, eine Glasfolie, eine Kupferfolie, eine Aluminiumfolie oder einen Siliciumwafer aufgetragen wird; ein Lösungsmittel bei etwa 140 ºC entfernt wird; und dann die Imidierung bei etwa 200 bis 400 ºC ausgeführt wird. Des weiteren kann der Polyimidfilm auch erhalten werden, indem die Beschichtungslösung auf einen PET-Film aufgegossen wird, Trocknen desselben bei 140 ºC; Abschälen des Polyimid- Vorläuferfilms; Fixieren des Films in einem Metallrahmen; Anheben der Temperatur des Films von 140 ºC auf 350 ºC für etwa eine Stunde; und anschließendes Kalzinieren des Films bei 350 ºC - 400 ºC.
- Beispiele des Lösungsmittels für die Beschichtungslösung schließen N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidon, N,N-Dimethylacetamid, N,N-Dimethylformamid, Dimethylsulfoxid, Tetramethylharnstoff, Pyridin, Hexamethylphosphoramid, Methylformamid, N-Acetyl-2-pyrrolidon, 2-Methoxyethanol, 2-Ethoxyethanol, 2-Butoxyethanol, Diethylenglykolmonomethylether, Diethylenglykol-monoethylether, Diethylenglykol-monobutylether, Cyclopentanon, Cyclohexanon, Kresol, γ-Butyrolakton, Isophoron, N,N-Diethylacetamid, N,N-Diethylformamid, N,N-Dimethylmethoxyacetamid, Tetrahydrofuran, N-Acetyl-2- pyrrolidon, N-Methyl-ε-caprolaktam und Tetrahydrothiophendioxid (Sulfolan) ein. Die oben aufgeführten organischen Lösungsmittel können in Form eines gemischten Lösungsmittels von zwei oder mehr derselben verwendet werden. Darüberhinaus kann das oben aufgeführte organische Lösungsmittel bei Verwendung mit einem anderen aprotischen (neutralen) organischen Lösungsmittel verdünnt werden, zum Beispiel mit einem aromatischen, alizyklischen oder aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoff oder dessen chloriertem Derivat (z. B. Benzol, Toluol, Xylol, Cyclohexan, Pentan, Hexan, Petroleumether oder Methylenchlorid), oder Dioxan.
- Die Dicke des Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidfilms gemäß der Erfindung ist keiner besonderen Beschränkung unterworfen, aber die untere Grenze der Filmdicke ist 10 um, vorzugsweise 25 um, und die obere Grenze derselben ist 175 um, vorzugsweise 150 um. Das Verfahren zur Herstellung des Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidfilms ist nicht auf ein Verfahren begrenzt, das ein Imidierungsmittel verwendet (eine chemische Härtungsmethode), oder auf ein Verfahren, das nur einen Hitzeschritt (eine Trocknungsmethode) umfaßt.
- In dem Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidfilm und seinem Herstellungsverfahren gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung ist der anwendbare Silikon-modifizierte Polyimidfilm ein Silikon-modifiziertes Polyimid, das ein aromatisches Tetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, ein Diaminosiloxan und ein aromatisches Diamin als Hauptbestandteile enthält, und es kann das Silikon-modifizierte Polyimid allein oder eine Mischung des Silikon-modifizierten Polyimids mit einem Polyimid sein.
- Dieses Silikon-modifizierte Polyimid umfaßt 0 bis 90 Mol% einer Struktureinheit, die durch die Formel (1a) dargestellt ist
- und 10 bis 100 Mol% einer Struktureinheit, die durch die Formel (1b) dargestellt ist
- (in denen R¹ eine organische Gruppe wie eine vierwertige zyklische aromatische Kohlenstoffgruppe oder eine heterozyklische Gruppe ist; R² ist eine zweiwertige organische Gruppe wie eine aliphatische Gruppe mit zwei oder mehr Kohlenstoffatomen, eine alizyklische Gruppe, eine zyklische aromatische Kohlenstoffgruppe, eine heterozyklische Gruppe oder eine Polysiloxangruppe; R¹ oder R² können durch ein Halogenatom (z. B. Fluor, Chlor oder Brom) oder eine oder mehrere Alkylengruppen mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen substituiert sein; R³ und R&sup4; können identisch oder verschieden sein, und jede von ihnen ist eine Alkylengruppe mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen oder eine Phenylengruppe; R&sup5;, R&sup6;, R&sup7; und R&sup8; können identisch oder verschieden sein und jede von ihnen ist eine niedrige Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine niedrige Alkoxygruppe mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Phenylgruppe oder eine Phenoxygruppe; und m ist eine Zahl von 1 bis 100).
- Das Silikon-modifizierte Polyimid zur Verwendung in dem Film der vorliegenden Erfindung kann erhalten werden durch Reaktion eines Polyimidvorläufers, der 0 bis 90 Mol% einer Struktureinheit, die durch die Formel (2a) dargestellt ist,
- und 10 bis 100 Mol% einer Struktureinheit, die durch die Formel (2b) dargestellt ist, umfaßt
- eines Tetracarbonsäure-dianhydrids, das durch die Formel (3) dargestellt ist
- und eines Diamins, das durch die Formel (4) dargestellt ist
- H&sub2;N-R²-NH&sub2; (4)
- und eines α,ω-Diaminosiloxans, das durch die Formel (5) dargestellt ist
- in einem organischen Lösungsmittel.
- In den oben aufgeführten Formeln 2 bis 5 sind R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5;, R&sup6;, R&sup7; und R&sup8; wie oben definiert.
- Beispiele der oben erwähnten niedrigen Alkylengruppe mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen schließen Methylen, Ethylen, Trimethylen, Tetramethylen, Pentamethylen und Hexamethylen- Gruppen ein. Beispiele der niedrigen Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen schließen Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, Butyl, Isobutyl, tert-Butyl, Pentyl und Hexyl- Gruppen ein. Beispiele der niedrigen Alkoxygruppen mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen schließen Methoxy, Ethoxy, Propoxy, Isopropoxy, Butoxy, Isobutoxy, tert-Butoxy, Pentyloxy und Hexyloxy-Gruppen ein.
- Typische Beispiele des Tetracarbonsäure-dianhydrids, welches durch die Formel 3 dargestellt ist, schließen Pyromellitsäuredianhydrid, Benzol-1,2,3,4-tetracarbonsäuredianhydrid,2,2',3,3'-Benzophenontetracarbonsäuredianhydrid,2,3,3',4'-Benzophenontetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 3,3',4,4'-Benzophenontetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 2,2',3,3'-Biphenyltetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 3,3',4,4'-Biphenyltetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 2,3,3,'4'-Biphenyltetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 2,3,6,7-Naphthalintetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 3,4,9,10-Perylentetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 2,3,6,7-Anthracentetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 1,2,7,8-Phenanthrentetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, Bis(2,3-Dicarboxyphenyl)methan-dianhydrid, Bis(3,4-Dicarboxyphenyl)methan-dianhydrid, 1,2,5,6-Naphthalintetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 2,2-Bis(2,3-dicarboxyphenyl)propan-dianhydrid, 2,2-Bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenyl)propan-dianhydrid, 1,1-Bis(2,3-dicarboxyphenyl)ethan-dianhydrid, Bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenyl)sulfon-dianhydrid, Bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenyl)ether-dianhydrid, 3,3'4,4'-Tetracarboxybenzoyloxybenzol-dianhydrid, N,N-(3,4-Dicarboxyphenyl)N-methylamin-dianhydrid, Thiophen-2,3,4,5-tetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, Pyrazin-2,3,5,6- tetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, Pyridin-2,3,5,6- tetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 1,2,3,4-Butantetracarbonsäuredianhydrid, Pentantetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 1,2,3,4- Cyclopentantetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 1,2,3,4-Bicyclohexentetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 1,2,3,4-Tetrahydrofurantetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid, 1,2,3,4-Cyclobutantetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid und 2,3,5- Tricarboxycyclopentylessigsäure-dianhydrid ein. Diese Säuredianhydride können einzeln oder in Kombination verwendet werden.
- Beispiele für die Diaminkomponente, die durch Formel (4) dargestellt wird, schließen zyklische Kohlenstoffdiamine, heterozyklische Diamine, aliphatische Diamine, alizyklische Diamine und aromatisch aliphatische Diamine ein.
- Beispiele für die zyklischen aromatischen Kohlenstoffamine schließen o-, m- und p-Phenylendiamine, Diaminotoluole (z. B. 2,4-Diaminotoluol), 1,4-Diamino-2-methoxybenzol, 2,5-Diaminoxylole, 1,3-Diamino-4-chlorbenzol, 1,4-Diamino-2,5-dichlorbenzol, 1,4-Diamino-2-brombenzol, 1,3-Diamino-4- isopropylbenzol, N,N-Diphenyl-1,4-phenylendiamin, 4,4' -Diaminophenyl-2,2-propan, 4,4'-Diaminophenylmethan, 2,2-Diaminostilben, 4,4'-Diaminostilben, 4,4'-Diaminophenylether, 4,4'-Diaminophenylthioether, 4,4'-Diaminodiphenylsulfon, 3,3'-Diaminodiphenylsulfon, 4,4'-Diaminobenzoesäurephenylester, 2,2'-Diamino-benzophenon, 4,4'-Diaminobenzophenon, 4,4'-Diaminobenzyl, 4-(4'-Aminophenylcarbamoyl)anilin, Bis(4-Aminophenyl)phosphinoxid, Bis(4-Aminophenyl)methylphosphinoxid, Bis(3-Aminophenyl)methylsulfinoxid, Bis(4-Aminophenyl)phenylphosphinoxid, Bis(4-Aminophenyl)cyclohexylphosphinoxid, N,N-Bis(4-Aminophenyl)-N-phenylamin, N,N-Bis(4-Aminophenyl)-N-methylamin, 4,4'-Diaminodiphenylharnstoff, 1,8-Diaminonaphthalin, 1,5-Diaminonaphthalin, 1,5-Diaminoanthrachinon und Diaminofluoranthen ein.
- Beispiele der heterozyklischen Diamine schließen 2,6-Diaminopyridin, 2,4-Diaminopyridin, 2,4-Diamino-s- triazin, 2,7-Diaminodibenzofuran, 2,7-Diaminocarbazol, 3,7-Diaminophenothiazin und 2,5-Diamino-1,3,4-thiadiazol ein.
- Beispiele der aliphatischen Diamine schließen Dimethylendiamin, Trimethylendiamin, Tetramethylendiamin, Hexamethylendiamin, Heptamethylendiamin, Octamethylendiamin, Nonamethylendiamin, Decamethylendiamin, 2,2-Dimethylpropylendiamin, 2,5-Dimethylhexamethylendiamin, 2,5-Dimethylheptamethylendiamin, 4,4-Dimethylheptamethylendiamin, 3-Methoxyhexamethylendiamin, 5-Methylnonamethylendiamin, 2,11-Diaminododecan, 1,12-Diaminooctadecan, 1,2-Bis-(3-Aminopropoxy)ethan, N,N-Dimethyl-ethylendiamin, N,N'-Diethyl-1,3-diaminopropan und N,N'-Dimethyl-1,6- diaminohexan ein. Des weiteren schließen zusätzliche Beispiele des aliphatischen Diamins Diamine, die durch die Formel H&sub2;N(CH&sub2;)&sub3;O(CH&sub2;)&sub2;O(CH&sub2;)&sub3;NH&sub2; dargestellt sind und Diamine, die durch die Formel H&sub2;N(CH&sub2;)&sub3;S(CH&sub2;)&sub3;NH&sub2; dargestellt sind, ein.
- Beispiele des alizyklischen Diamins schließen 1,4-Diaminocyclohexan und 4,4'-Diamino-dicyclohexylmethan ein, und erwünschte Beispiele des aromatischen aliphatischen Diamins schließen 1,4-Bis(2-Methyl-4-aminopentyl)benzol, 1,4-Bis(1,1-Dimethyl-5-aminopentyl)benzol, 1,3-Bis(Aminomethyl)benzol und 1,4-Bis(Aminomethyl)benzol ein. Diese Diamine können einzeln oder in Kombination verwendet werden.
- Beispiele des α,ω-Diaminosiloxans, das durch die Formel (5) dargestellt wird, schließen 1,1,3,3-Tetramethyl-1,3-bis(4-aminophenyl)disiloxan, 1,1,3,3-Tetraphenoxy-1,3-bis(4-aminoethyl)disiloxan, 1,1,3,3,5,5-Hexamethyl-1,5-bis(4-aminophenyl)trisiloxan, 1,1,3,3-Tetraphenyl-1,3-bis(2-aminoethyl)disiloxan, 1,1,3,3-Tetraphenyl-1,3-bis(3-aminopropyl)disiloxan, 1,1,5,5-Tetraphenyl-3,3-dimethyl-1,5-bis(3-aminopropyl)trisiloxan,1,1,5,5-Tetraphenyl-3,3-dimethoxy-1,5-bis(aminobutyl)trisiloxan,1,1,5,5-Tetraphenyl-3,3-dimethoxy- 1,5-bis(5-aminopentyl)trisiloxan,1,1,3,3-Tetramethyl-1,3- bis(2-aminoethyl)disiloxan,1,1,3,3-Tetramethyl-1,3-bis(3- aminopropyl)disiloxan,1,1,3,3-Tetramethyl-1,3-bis(4- aminobutyl)disiloxan,1,3-Dimethyl-1,3-dimethoxy-1,3-bis (4-aminobutyl)disiloxan,1,1,5,5-Tetramethyl-3,3-dimethoxy-1,5-bis(2-aminoethyl)trisiloxan,1,1,5,5-Tetramethyl-3,3dimethoxy-1,5-bis(3-aminopropyl)trisiloxan,1,1,5,5- Tetramethyl-3,3-dimethoxy-1,5-bis(4-aminobutyl)trisiloxan, 1,1,5,5-Tetramethyl-3,3-dimethoxy-1,5-bis(5-aminopentyl)trisiloxan,1,1,3,3,5,5-Hexamethyl-1,5-bis(3-aminopropyl)trisiloxan und 1,1,3,3,5,5-Hexapropyl-1,5-bis(3-aminopropyl)trisiloxan ein.
- Sie können einzeln oder in Kombination verwendet werden.
- Der Silikon-modifizierte Polyimidfilm der vorliegenden Erfindung hat im Vergleich mit einem konventionellen Film viel hervorragendere Adhäsionseigenschaften. Das heißt, daß in bezug auf den konventionellen Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidfilm angenommen werden kann, daß eine Schicht mit einem hohen Siloxangehalt auf der Oberfläche des Films gebildet wird und die Adhäsionseigenschaften verschlechtert. Gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung wird der Kontaktwinkel der Filmoberfläche durch eine Koronaentladungs-Behandlung vermindert und eine Sauerstoffgruppe wird eingeführt, so daß polare Gruppen zunehmen, und die konzentrierte Siloxanschicht wird von der Oberfläche des Films entfernt, wobei die Oberfläche, die für die Adhäsion wirksam ist, freigelegt wird. Als Folge davon können die guten Adhäsionseigenschaften über den ganzen Film erhalten werden.
- Der Silikon-modifizierte Polyimidfilm gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung ist viel hervorragender in seinen Adhäsionseigenschaften (Schälfestigkeit) verglichen mit einem konventionellen Film.
- Des weiteren wird nach dem Verfahren gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung die spezielle Koronaentladungs-Behandlung an dem konventionellen Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidfilm angewendet, wodurch der Silikon-modifizierte Polyimidfilm mit verbesserten Adhäsionseigenschaften leicht erhalten wird.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung wird nun unter Bezugnahme auf Beispiele und Vergleichsbeispiele beschrieben, aber sie sollte nicht auf diese Beispiele beschränkt sein.
- Es wird Bezug genommen auf die Herstellung eines Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidvorläufers, der in den Beispielen verwendet wird, die Herstellung eines Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidfilms und die Messung von Adhäsionskraft und Absorbanzverhältnissen N&sub1;/N&sub2; der Filme.
- Herstellung des Silikon-modifizierten Polyimidvorläufers: Während Stickstoffgas in einen Dreihalskolben, der mit einem Thermometer, einem Rührer und einer Stickstoffblasdüse ausgestattet ist, geblasen wurde, wurden 0,1 Mol Paraphenylendiamin (nachfolgend abgekürzt als "p-PDA") als einem Diamin, 0,1 Mol 1,1,3,3,5,5-Hexamethyl-1,5-bis(3- aminopropyl)trisiloxan als einem α, -Diaminosiloxan und 400 g N,N-Dimethylacetamid als einem Lösungsmittel in den Kolben gegeben. Die Mischung wurde dann auf 20 ºC abgekühlt, und 400 g 3, 3,4,4-Biphenyltetracarbonsäure-dianhydrid (nachfolgend abgekürzt als "s-BPDA") als einem Säureanhydrid wurden langsam unter Rühren zugegeben. Die Polymerisationsreaktion wurde 6 Stunden lang durchgeführt unter Erhalt eines Polyimidvorläufers mit einer Festkonzentration von 15 Gew.%. Die Viskosität dieser Polyimidvorläufer-Lösung war 25000 mpa.s (cps).
- Der so erhaltene Polyimidvorläufer wurde ausgegossen und auf einen PET-Film aufgetragen, so daß die Dicke des Films 25 um sein konnte, und er wurde dann bei 140 ºC 10 Minuten lang in einem Ofen getrocknet. Danach wurde der resultierende selbsttragende Polyimidvorläufer-Film abgeschält und dann in einem Metallrahmen fixiert. Als nächstes wurde der Film von 140 ºC auf 350 ºC über eine Stunde lang erhitzt und dann bei 350 ºC 30 Minuten lang kalziniert, um die Imidierung zu bewirken, wodurch ein Silikon-modifizierter Polyimidfilm erhalten wurde.
- Pyralux, hergestellt von Du Pont, wurde thermisch gegen ein Silikon-modifiziertes Polyimid bei einer Temperatur von 180 ºC unter einem Druck von 4 MPa (40 kg/cm ) eine Stunde lang gepresst, und dann wurde die Schälfestigkeit in einer Probenweite von 10 mm bei einem Schälwinkel von 180 º und einer Schälgeschwindigkeit von 50 mm/Min. gemessen.
- Eine Absorbanz (N&sub1;) bei 1074 cm&supmin;¹ und eine Absorbanz (N&sub2;) bei 824 cm wurden aus der Aufzeichnung eines Infrarotabsorptionsspektrums eines jeden Films gemessen, und das N&sub1;/ N&sub2; Verhältnis wurde dann berechnet.
- Silikon-modifizierte Polyimidfilme wurden einer Koronabehandlung unter verschiedenen Bedingungen im Bereich von 8050 bis 68400 W. Min./m unter Verwendung einer Korona-Oberflächenbehandlungsvorrichtung vom Typ HFS-400-1 (Oszillationsfrequenz 15 KHz und Hochfrequenz- Ausgangsleistung 4 KW), hergestellt von Kasuga Denki Co., Ltd., unterworfen. Für diese Filme wurden die Zunahme von N&sub1;/N&sub2; auf den Filmoberflächen, die Adhäsionskraft und dergl. gemessen. Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 1 angegeben (das Infrarotabsorptionsspektrum für die Berechnung von N&sub1;/N&sub2; in Beispiel 2 ist in Fig. 1 gezeigt).
- Ein Silikon-modifizierter Polyimidfilm mit einer Dicke von 25 um wurde keiner Korona-Oberflächenbehandlung unterworfen, und N&sub1;/N&sub2; und die Adhäsionskraft wurden überprüft. Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 1 angegeben (das Infrarotabsorptionsspektrum für die Berechnung von N&sub1;/N&sub2; ist in Fig. 2 gezeigt). Claims (2)
1. Silikon-modifizierter Polyimidfilm, der verbesserte
Adhäsionseigenschaften aufweist und ein
Silikon-modifiziertes Polyimid oder einen Kompositstoff
aus einem Silikon-modifizierten Polyimid und einem
aromatischen Polyimid umfaßt, wobei besagtes
Silikon-modifizierte Polyimid 0 bis 90 Mol% einer
Struktureinheit, die durch die Formel (1a) dargestellt
ist,
und 10 bis 100 Mol% einer Struktureinheit, die durch
die Formel (1b) dargestellt ist, umfaßt
(in denen R¹ eine organische Gruppe wie eine
vierwertige zyklische aromatische Kohlenstoffgruppe
oder eine heterozyklische Gruppe ist; R ist eine
zweiwertige organische Gruppe wie eine aliphatische
Gruppe mit zwei oder mehr Kohlenstoffatomen, eine
alizyklische Gruppe, eine zyklische aromatische
Kohlenstoffgruppe, eine heterozyklische Gruppe oder
eine Polysiloxangruppe; R¹ oder R² können durch ein
Halogenatom oder eine oder mehrere Alkylengruppen mit 1
bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen substituiert sein; R³ und R&sup4;
können identisch oder verschieden sein, und jede von
ihnen ist eine Alkylengruppe mit 1 bis 6
Kohlenstoffatomen oder eine Phenylengruppe; R&sup5;, R&sup6;, R&sup7;
und R&sup8; können identisch oder verschieden sein und jede
von ihnen ist eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 6
Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Alkoxygruppe mit 1 bis 6
Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Phenylgruppe oder eine
Phenoxygruppe; und m ist eine Zahl von 1 bis 100),
wobei das Verhältnis der Absorbanz N&sub1; des
Absorptionsspektrums der Filmoberflächenschicht bei 1074
cm&supmin;¹ auf der Basis von Si-O zu der Absorbanz N&sub2; des
Absorptionsspektrums bei 824 cm auf der Basis eines
Benzolrings in einem Infrarot-Absorptionsspektrum der
Filmoberfläche 0,7 oder weniger ist.
2. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Silikon-modifizierten
Polyimidfilms nach Anspruch 1, der verbesserte
Adhäsionseigenschaften aufweist, das den Schritt
umfaßt, einen Polyimidfilm, der ein
Silikonmodifiziertes Polyimid oder einen Kompositstoff des
Silikon-modifizierten Polyimids und eines aromatischen
Polyimids, wie in Anspruch 1 definiert, umfaßt, einer
Koronaentladungs-Behandlung von 2500 bis 87000 W.
Min./m² zu unterwerfen.
