The invention relates to a stud bolt attachment in which the stud bolt
is only provided with a thread at one end and the thread-free one facing the combustion chamber
The end is pressed against the firebox wall by means of a cap nut screwed onto the thread
will.
In known fastenings of this type, in which the stud bolt only prevents the boiler walls from moving apart but not from being compressed, "the thread-free stud bolt end is provided with a steeply conical head which is pressed through the cap nut into the cylindrical bore in the boiler wall Stud bolts firmly screwed in with one end and a flat cone-shaped reinforcement attached to the thread-free end, which lay against a suitable washer. In stud bolts whose reinforcement was welded to the boiler wall, the reinforcement was previously screwed onto a thread of the stud bolt as a special part.
In contrast, the invention is based on the task of reducing the notch effect at the transition point from the firebox and standing boiler wall to the stud bolt in the case of a stud bolt fastening in which the stud bolt prevents not only the removal of the boiler walls but also the approaching of the walls. This is done according to the invention essentially in that the thread-free end of the stud bolt with a flat conical reinforcement emerging in a slim transition from the shaft rests against an adapted surface of the firebox wall and is welded to the firebox wall at the end protruding beyond the reinforcement, while the threaded one The end of the bolt is guided with play through the wall of the standing tank to which the cap nut is welded. By combining these features, a shape that is favorable for absorbing bending stresses is achieved on the thread-free side and, as a result of the large shaft length, a reduction in bending stresses is achieved.
Abb. ι und 2 im mittleren Längsschnitt dargestellt. In the drawing, two embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are through
Fig. Ι and 2 shown in the middle longitudinal section.
Stück 4 an, mit dem der Stehbolzen*\ in einer Bohrung 5 der Feuerbüchswand 6 liegt;
kegelförmige Bohrung 8 an.
Teiles des Stehbolzens 1.The stud bolt ι is provided with thread 2 only at its one end, while its other end has a flat conical reinforcement 3 protruding from the shaft in a slim transition. This is followed by a cylindrical piece 4 with which the stud bolt * \ lies in a hole 5 in the firebox wall 6; A frustoconical end 7 protrudes over the reinforcement 3, the base area of which coincides with the end face of the cylindrical piece 4. The cylindrical bore 5 of the firebox wall 6 is adjoined by a conical bore 8 that widens in the direction of the combustion chamber 20. The jacket 9 of the truncated cone 7 and the bore 8 form an annular space which is triangular in cross section and which is filled with welding material 10 '. On the cylindrical bore 5 of the firebox wall 6, seen in the direction of the water space Ii, one of the mushroom-like reinforcement 3 of the stud bolt end adapted flat conical surface 12, against which the reinforcement 3 rests. The surface 12 is followed by a cylindrical bore 13, the diameter of which is approximately twice as large as the diameter of the cylindrical part of the stud bolt 1.
The standing boiler wall 14 has a continuous
cylindrical bore 15 which is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the thread
ζ of the stud 1. The thread 2 begins shortly before the one facing away from the water space 11
Page 16 of the standing tank wall 14. A cap nut 17 is screwed onto the thread 2,
whose base is supported against the outside 16 of the standing tank wall 14 and thereby the
Reinforcement 3 presses against the surface 12 of the firebox wall 6. The cap nut 17 is
welded all around by means of a weld seam 18 to the 'standing tank wall 14, so that a
Seal occurs and tensile forces can be absorbed when the supported
Walls try to approximate each other. To detect any broken studs, the stud is ι with a in the
Longitudinal bore 19 opening into the combustion chamber is provided.
The second embodiment according to Fig. 2 differs from the first only in that the cap nut 17 is not welded directly to the standing tank wall 14, but by means of a weld 21 to a spacer sleeve 22 which in turn is connected to the standing tank wall 14 by a weld 23 % tf and that the stud bolt 1, the thread of which 2 $ | fet begins shortly before the end of the sleeve 22, • is longer by the width of this sleeve. The increase in the length of the shaft of the stud bolt 1 subjected to the deformation at the same distance from the firebox wall 6 and the standing boiler wall 14 results in the advantageous effect that it is less rigid than the usual stud bolts and, as a result, is more favorably stressed in the event of a parallel displacement of the firebox wall 6 and the standing boiler wall 14 than the usual bolts.
10, 21, 23 in Verbindung
In both exemplary embodiments, the weld seams 10, 18 and 10, 21, 23 are connected
with the reinforcement 3 and the cap nut 17 of the stud 1 achieved that this
not just removing the boiler walls 6, 14,
but also prevents the walls from approaching.
