Schnellverbandpäckchen Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schnellverbandpäckchen,
bei welchem der gefaltete Klebe-oder Wickelverband von einer aus: Gummi oder gummiertem
Stoff `bestehenden streifenförmigen Umhüllung umgeben ist, :aus welcher die :aus
abziehbaren Gazesch utzstreifen bestehenden Entfaltungszugbänder frei herausrag:en.
Bei diesen bekannten Verbandpäckchen war zur dauernde n Erhaltung der Keimfreiheit
eine zweite Umhüllung, etwa aus Papier, notwendig, die also zunächst vor Gebrauch
des Päckchens entfernt werden muß, und @es bedurfte ferner einer besonderen Gebrauchsanweisung,
damit ,der eigentliche Verband runter allen Umständen keimfrei, :d. h. ohne Berührung

daß die Hülle breiter ist als die Kompresse und daß :die siomit über die Kompress..
überstehenden Rändex der Hülle miteinander verklebt sind, während; eines der beiden
aus. der Stoßfuge dieser Hülle herausgeführten Entfa.ltungszu;gbänder mit der zugehörigen
Hü,llerihälfte verbunden ist. In den Abb. i bis q. der Zeichnung ist dass neue Schnellverbandpäckchen
in einer beispielsweisen Ausführung dargestellt. Abb. i ist .eine Ansicht des geschlossenen
Päckchens und Abb.2 eine Seitenansicht. Abb.3 stellt das bereits teilweise, d. h.
linksseitig geöffnete Verbandpäckchen .dar, während in Abb. q. das Päckchen ,in
entfaltetem Zustand ver :anschalulicht isst, wobei jedoch die Schutz,gazfes.treifen

Emden hinauusragen fand ;an ihren lußeren freien Enden durch schmale, aufgeklebte
Hefxpfiasterstücke e1, dl verstärkt sind. Der beliebig, zusammengefaltete Verband
liegt keimfrei: 6n deiner aus Gummi :oder gummertem Stoff bestehenden Umhüllung,
wie sie aus .den Abb. i bis 3 ersichtlich ist. Ein längliches Stück Gummistoff t
ist nämlich beiders:eitäg um den zusammengefalteten Verband herumgeschlagen, und
die Ränder g dieser Umhüllung sind mit keimfrei; gemachter Gumm4bgung miteinander
verklebt. Die vorerwähnten Endstücke e1 und 91 ragen aus
der
,auf der Vorderseite des Verbandpäckchens befindlichen Stoßfuge der Gummiumhüllung
nach rechts und links heraus. Dabei ist das rechte Endstückel durch einen sonkrechten
Einschnitti der Umhüllung hindurch nach außen geführt. Das hinke Endstückd1 greift
bis über den schmalen Streifen k der Gummiumhüllung, Lund beide Endhai dieser Umhüllung
sind ebenfalls, mit keimfreii gemachter Gummilösung miteinander verklebt. Gegebenenfalls
kann auch da& erwähnte Endstück e1 mnt dem Streifen k der Umhüllung verklebt

Zum öffnen des Verbandpäckchens faßt man alsi-i die beiden vorn aus
der PadIkung herausragenden Endstücke e1 und dl mit beiden Händen und zieht sie
auseinander. Dabei wird zuerst die linke Hälfte der Packung aufgerissen, wie Abb.3
zeigt. Durch weiteres Ziehen wird sodann der eigentliche Verband entfaltet, wie
in Abb. 4. dargestellt ist, und dann werden die. Schutzgazestreiferz e und d von
dem Heftpflasterstreifen a abgezogen, wobei: ;auch die etwa noch iah dem rechten
Streifen e ;anhaftende Umhüllung f mit abfällt. Nunmehr kann die Verbandkompresse
ohne Berührung derselben auf die Wunde aufgelegt und aufgeklebt werden. Dabei kann
man gegebenenfalls den vorher die Hülle bildenden Gummistreifen beim Wickelverhand
dazu verwenden, um den Verbsand wasserdicht zu machen.To open the first-aid pack, grab the two at the front as i-i
