Verfahren zur.Herstefuug von Brechbacken Werden Brechbacken ganz aus einem austenitischen Manganhartstahl hergestellt, wie dies bisher üblich war, so ergibt sich ein großer Verbrauch an hochprozentigem Ferromangan. Dieser Verbrauch wird durch die Arbeitsweise der Brechbacke insofern nicht gerechtfertigt, als lediglich der dem Brechmaul zugekehrte Teil der Brechbacke einem starken Verschleiß ausgesetzt ist. Man ist deshalb auch schon auf den Gedanken gekommen:. nur die Zähne aus Manganhartstahl mit etwa 1a bis 14°/o Mn, den übrigen, größeren Teil der Brechbacke dagegen aus einem billigeren Werkstoff, wie Flußstahl, anzufertigen. Zu diesem Zweck wurden die Zähne aus Manganhartstahl besonders hergestellt und dann mit der Backenplatte durch Verschrauben, Verschweißen oder durch Einsetzen in unterschnittene Nutzen verbunden. B. Flußstahl, besteht. Die Verbindung beider soll so erfolgen, daß die Brechbacke die Eigenschaften einer aus einem Guß hergestellten Backe besitzt und somit wie eine solche beansprucht werden kann. Das Verfahren besteht darin, daß zunächst der dem Brechmaul zugekehrte Teil aus austenitischem Manganhartstahl gegossen und dann nach Erstarren dieses Teiles ein weicher, zäher Werkstoff, z. B. Flußstahl, zur Bildung der Backenplatte nachgegossen wird, wobei zwischen den beiden Werkstoffen eine Verschweißung eintritt.
