Time relay, the switching process of which is determined by the run-down time of a flywheel
is delayed until the speed falls below a certain level. There are already timing relays
became known, in which the time delay between responding and a
Switching process is delayed purely mechanically in that a
The flywheel is put into circulation when the coast and. Falling below one
specific speed causes the contact for an auxiliary circuit. The invention
relates to such a device, in which a secure contact with particularly
simple means is guaranteed. The stationary contacts are in the direction
the axis. the centrifugal mass, and the movable contact is only through
the throwing movement of the swims into a contact opposite the stationary contact
Position brought. The outlet movement of the flywheel is by means of a
from this controlled device the moving contact after a certain time
pressed against the stationary and thus causes the contact.
In Fig. R, an embodiment of the invention is shown.
The armature of a relay magnet is denoted by a, which is actuated by a spring in
its starting position is held. A stop at the anchor stands with a
Toothed segment b in connection, which is rotatably mounted on a W eile v. On this
Toothed segment acts a spring g. However, the action of the spring is normal
canceled by the stop u under the influence of the spring force h.
The pinion w which is in engagement with the toothed segment b is loosely mounted on a shaft l and is rigidly connected to a ratchet wheel i: the pawl belonging to this is arranged on a flywheel c which is rigidly attached to the shaft l. The shaft l also carries a centrifugal pendulum d, which is able to move an isolated pressure pin y longitudinally.
In the direction of the axis of the shaft l there is a fixed contact f
arranged, which can be adjusted longitudinally with the help of a button x and
this allows the relay's expiry time to be changed.
der Anker a angezogen.
The moving contact e sits on the shaft v. It is thus moved simultaneously with the toothed segment b and brought into a position with respect to the fixed contact f. On the shaft v a brake spring k is also attached, which in the starting position of the toothed segment b, so under the influence of the spring la, is pressed against the flywheel c and so brings it to a standstill and then holds it in place. The operation of the device is as follows: If the relay magnet is excited, the armature a is attracted. The stop zc releases the movement of the toothed segment b under the influence of the spring g. As a result, the pinion w and the ratchet wheel i are set in motion in the clockwise direction. This causes the flywheel mass c to rotate via the pawl na and the shaft l . Furthermore, the centrifugal pendulum d is set in rotation, so that the flyweights reach the outside and the insulating pin y is taken downwards. As a result, a space below the contact f is released for the contact e. When the contact c has reached this position, the toothed segment b has ended its rotation at the same time and the speed ya has reached the value C in FIG. The flywheel now continues to run freely, the pawl m sliding on the ratchet wheel i if the toothed segment b is not completely disengaged from the pinion w. As a result, the speed n decreases until, when the speed falls below a certain speed, for example at a value B in FIG. 2, the insulating pin y brings the contacts e and f into contact. This triggers the process to be controlled and at the same time de-excites the excitation coil of the magnet. As a result, the armature d returns to the position shown under the influence of the spring k. The pin u takes the shaft v with it and brings the toothed segment b and the pinion w into the starting position, the ratchet wheel i being able to slide under the pawl na. The relay is accordingly able to be actuated again.
des Relais eingestellt werden.r -,: By adjusting the button x, point B (Fig. 2) can be shifted along the curve line CB to point A, and thus the relay tripping time can be set.
