Flächenhafte Kondensatorelektrode für Kurzwellentherapie mit einem ganz oder teilweise aus verlustarmem Isolierstoff bestehenden Dielektrikum Die Erfindung betrifft eine für Kurzwellen-bzw. Ultrakurzwellentherapie besonders geeignete flächenhafte Kondensatorelektrode. Es sind Elektroden für den genannten Zweck bekannt, bei denen die wirksame Metallfläche, hinsichtlich ihres Abstandes verstellbar, in einem Glas.-oder Porzellantopf angeordnet ist, der auf den Körper des Patienten :aufgesetzt wird. Eine derartige Elektrode ist aber nur bei einigermaßen ebenen Körperflächen verwendbar, nicht z. B. für eine Gesichtsbehandlung o. dgl. Um diesen Mangel zu beseitigen, hat man biegsame Elektroden geschaffen, bei denen eine Metallfolie von biegsamem Isoliermaterial umgeben, z. B. in Weichgummi einvulkanisiert ist. Abgesehen davon, daß sich Weichgummi ,an Körperteile wechselnder Wölbung auch schlecht anschmiegt, hat er den großen Nachteil, daß in ihm große dielektrische Verluste auftreten, er also sehr warm wird, so daß durch Kontaktwärme eine starke Erhitzung der Haut eintritt, die ja gerade vermieden werden soll.
