Process for the production of cellulose from cellulose-containing raw material
according to the alkaline and neutral processes. alkaline processes are ..
the vegetable raw materials, mainly wood, straw and alfa, with a
Treated solution, which is essentially NaOH in addition to a low. Contains amount of Nag C 03.
Often one works in the presence of sodium sulfide, which facilitates Aufsc'hluß.
By thickening and burning the lye, the alkali is converted into a carbonate or sulfide

Entfernt man
Man vermeidet
Selbst wenn man etwas Ätznatron erzeugen will, braucht
In diesem Falle
It has now been shown that the incrustations to be removed are like
Behave acids which are in equilibrium with carbon dioxide. One removes
this from the reaction mixture, the dissolving process continues accordingly,
until the same final state is reached that is obtained with caustic soda. One avoids
but in this way the fiber weakening effect of Na OH and thereby preserves
especially solid materials. In addition, one has the great advantage that the causticizing
the lye falls away. It is sufficient to dissolve the regeneration melts in water. and
to filter off the coal. Even if you want to make some caustic soda, you need
causticizing cannot be carried out as far as it has been up to now. Loss of lye and
the amount of washing water is reduced considerably, apart from the fact that in
in many cases it is difficult to obtain the quicklime. Through the present
Nag S also accelerates the reaction here. You can either do it as such
or as Nag S 04 to the waste liquor to be incinerated. In this case
In addition to carbonic acid, hydrogen sulfide develops, which removes it with it
will. You can also use Na2S0g in the presence of sulfites, such as calcium or sodium sulfite,
or other acids of sulfur, using almost or completely neutral solutions
develop. Even without the intentional addition of carbonates, such as. B. in boilings
with pure sulphites, carbonic acid is produced, which is not yet known, its withdrawal
during cooking is beneficial. This results in solutions' which have a pH up to
5, which means that they are to be regarded as almost neutral in technical terms.
The removal of the carbonic acid can be done in various ways
Make way. So you can continuously take a stream of steam from the cooker,
strong enough. must be in order to remove the resulting carbon dioxide. With
Heat passing through it can be used to preheat lye or washing water.
When cooking pine wood in the initial

are far too low; in order to use. Jung von Carbönaten turned the carbonic acid into 'ent =.

Occurs.-One can also connect the cooker with a cooler in which under pressure
the water is condensed and returned to the boiler. Lets through stakes
the cooler to form a column, which separates the CO2 and other
of volatile gases from the water. Here, too, can the dissipated heat
utilize, the process also has the great advantage; that when applying
sulphides remove the volatile, malodorous compounds from the lye,
so that there is no odor nuisance when the fabric is washed out.
