The ones commonly used for closing items of clothing such as women's skirts, belts, etc.
Folding buckles consist, on the one hand, of a folding bracket 'and' hinged to a holder by means of a hinge
on the other hand from an eyelet through which on the hinge side facing away from the holder
the folding handle reaches through. The holder is on one and the eyelet on the other
fastened to each other to be connected parts of the garment.
Klappschnalle,In the known folding buckles of this type, the part of the folding bracket adjoining the hinge is essentially cylindrically curved, which means that the folding buckle, if it is not provided with springs or other locking devices, under the action of an only reasonably strong pull on the folding bracket opens easily by itself. This disadvantage is avoided in the case of the hinged buckle forming the subject of the invention in that the hinged bracket connects to the hinge with a flat end part bent sharply to the knee. This shape has the effect that the folding buckle, without requiring springs or other locking devices, does not open automatically under the action of the strongest tensile forces, and even in the case of a slight opening movement of the folding bracket o The eyelet does not leave the knee of the folding bracket, seeks to turn it into the closed position.
. An embodiment of the folding buckle according to the invention is shown in the drawing, namely Fig. Ι show a longitudinal section through the closed folding buckle,
